  • A Vicious Cycle installs MRA Touring X-Creen on a factory BMW R1200GS windscreen. The X-creen is an adjustable windscreen addition that bolts (or can clamp with optional clamps) to your current windscreen to help deflect airflow and protect from weather. This item fits almost every screen that is at least 10.5" ( 26.5 cm) across or wider. The X-creen is available as a user installed addition or as a complete screen of some models.

A tip for drilling acrylic, use a blunt drill on a fast speed so that the bit melts it's way through. A sharp bit can snag and crack the plastic.

Really? I would have thought that the danger of slipping out of the spot where the hole should be would be even higher. I would just follow the old mechanical principal of pre-drilling a smaller hole of the size of the dead center of the final drill bit.

If you have a screen that is at least 10" across then it can be fitted. We've installed it on the older R1200GS which has a narrower screen then the 2013 LC has.

pre drilling with a 3mm bit first will help .

Would that work on a 2004 R1150GSA? I have never liked how the wind hits me in my helmet on my bike. Buffers my head around and I get crazy wind noise. This might just do the trick.

It would’ve been nice to see you assemble the parts instead of fast forwarding thru it. :-(

This little peice of plastic is more expensive then my whole windscreen. What a rip off!!

It is a bit expensive but it's very effective.

What would you prefer? An expensive addition to your existing windscreen that really works, or money in your pocket but a sore neck from all the buffeting?? I had one on my 2015 BMW R1200GS and it worked brilliantly.. I was glad of it.. The expense was soon forgotten..

Don't know why they don't make a clamp on version.

How far are the black clamps from each other? I have the MRA sport screen and its 32 cm edge to edge wording if it will fit.
