Was it really necessary to remove the cowl? Doesn't look like it.

Hi, good video what is the part number for the screen pls , let us all know if you think you will get the other securing brackets if it wobbles at speed 🙂

No idea what the part is, it’s the tall touring screen. I did buy the brackets, second hand off of the BMW forum site. You can buy them off of AliExpress.

Hi sir, I recently installed the same Puig screen on my GS 1250 but haven’t tried it yet on the highway…winter here in Quebec Canada 🥶🌨️⛄️ Can you tell me if the reinforcement brackets are necessary at 60-70 mph( 100-110 km/h) Does the screen wobble? Thanks, Marc 😉🏍 winter also makes me sad & depressed! 🤣

Its OK at 100-110kmh, but for the sake of a few €, you can get the frame stabiliswrs off of AliExpress and make it rock solid. It does wobbly a bit.

Next video the road test? Not that I'll be getting one as I bought the Wunderlich Marathon with the strengthening bracket but very pricey!! 😬

This was about £90. The Wunderlich ones are double that? If it needs a bracket I'll pick one up.

I've just fitted the Puig touring screen and it has made matters worse. Awaiting the visor extension, if that doesn't work I'll sell it and revert to normal.

Oh no! What happened...do you have the support struts in, or is it just too much buffeting?
