    Excellent video! Advice, review and reinforcement on the product and additional products that are “toppers”.

    I just used 22PLE fine clay on my ceramic coated C8 last week. It is supposed to be safe for coated vehicles. We'll see!

      Different products and situations can yield different results. For me, I don’t do it because the last thing I want to do is ruin a customers coating

    My Echo PB9010T 1110 CFM 220 MPH blower has never once spit any oil out on the paint and I've used it a couple hundred times on my 2 personal white vehicles and my light silver truck. How do you get the water out of all the crevices and hidden places with a drying towel?

    Nice job in breaking down the process! It was done in a easy to understand way that the majority of newbies should understand. Curious, did you ask the customer how he has maintained his vehicle during the past 12 months (how often has he washed, products used, etc.?) Based on the water behavior before/after washing, it looks like he/she has done a pretty good job. I see that you used Reload as your topper essentially. Personally I have never liked Reload. It just didn't do much for protection or anything at all really. And others, like ScottHD, have shown it doesn't last long either. Your other suggestions are much better. I do also enjoy Xtreme Solutions Topper. This surprisingly does very well for protection.
    I'm enjoying your content. Keep up the good work!

      Thanks man! So like most customers, they don’t totally keep up with maintenance like they should. This particular client does wash his car about once a month. If I install a Cquartz coating I always give the customer a bottle of elixir for monthly maintenance, but as far as I could tell it was hardly used. As far as reload goes, idk, I used that because it was a Carpro coating, and I can be OCD in keeping products in the same family, but honestly I’m not a huge fan of relaid either. I did a 2 part video test including reload and it didn’t do all that great. I’m currently testing 7 more sealants.

    Hi, thanks for the great video!
    I'm about to paint correct and apply CQ UK3.0
    Is tar remover safe on ceramic coatings? I'm doing north of 70k miles a year and I get a build up of tar very quickly.
    Thanks in advance.

      Yes UK should resist tar remover fine. If you’re going to use it often though, I would make sure to keep a topper like reload on top of the UK so it takes the brunt of the tar remover instead of the coating. I recommend Citrol 266. Not all ceramic coatings are super chemical resistant, but UK is good.

    fantastic work and explanation 💪 i just did a paint enhancement and uk 3.0 on a used Ferrari F8. cane out great. now let's see if the owner calls me back in 2 weeks to do the 1st maintenance wash 😆 or ill have to follow up and tell him it should be done. if so ill top it with Reload to lock protection in

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  4 місяці тому

      Thank you! You can put a coating of reload after the initial application also. If you did that you probably don’t need to use reload again after only 2 weeks.

      It’s good, not great. I’m gonna do an update video ate the end of the summer. I’ve had some issues with the motor turning over. I don’t know if it’s a bad switch or if it’s a power issue from a clients home. I’m investigating and working with AR to solve it. Stay tuned and thanks for watching!

    thoughts on 2 coats of CARPRO CQUARTZ UK 3.0 then 1 coat of SiC and then a coat of gliss top coat kit?

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  Рік тому

      I don’t see why not. The added layers should give longer longevity. Although I believe Carpro says no more than 4 layers, but you might want to double check that.

      @@TurnerMobileDetailing I believe that I will go with this coating or Gyeon Synchro once my owners pride coating fully fails in another year or so. Not really impressed with Owners pride and feel like I got suckered on it. Marketing is a powerful tool. Lol.

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  Рік тому +1

      Thanks! It’s not a daily driver, I’d say about 7k per year, and it’s garage kept. It gets washed about once a month

    What about Carpro Hydro2 ? instead of Reload

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  Рік тому +1

      Sure you can use that, it probably won’t last as long as reload, but it’s easier to apply.

    • @TurnerMobileDetailing
      @TurnerMobileDetailing  3 місяці тому +1

      Will it’s rated for 2 years. The third year comes from polishing first with Carpro Essence. This car did live in a garage when not being driven, and as far as I knew it was driven about 3-4 days a week, if not a little less. So draw whatever conclusions make sense. I have seen this stuff get 2 years on a daily driver that loves outside though. It’s my fave consumer coating.
