- Опубліковано 10 сер 2022
- For 14 years David Elderton has been an exemplary dealer of Grin Tech's catalogue. From upgrading factory ebikes with Grin hardware to offering our standard retrofits, Hilleater's new 3500 Watt dual motor Cirkit E-bike demonstrates David's acquired mastery after many years in the ebike business.
Aaron travelled to Salt Spring Island to pay David a visit and uncover what's going on in David's shop.

The single throttle with a different mapping for "front wheel boost" is a really cool idea.
Well done David, what a great resource to have you on Salt Spring, so many folks enjoying your ebikes!
Amazing build. Unique and functional with the geared front hub and direct drive rear hub. Innovative AWD.
thank you for showing builds, please show more content like this, i see the world showing alot of bafang builds, but would love to see more of your product. thank you
Phaserunner works great on a Bafang BBSHD :D
Love these. Please do more.
Such a great frame. Nice to see the build. 🤔
Awesome stuff, thanks for sharing 🔋🚴♂⚡
Throttle mapping setup is in my future. I love a mid-drive but dual hub motors with throttle mapping is intriguing.
Independent Throttle mapping - very nice.
Each bike has 2 phaserunners, no wonder they've been out of stock forever
I want to be like David.
What's the rear drop out measurement on the Cirkit frame?
Rear Dropouts Are 165mm👨🏿🔧✌️
Nice bike. What would it cost to ship the bike to Hawaii?
Nice
That Cirkit is such a sick ebike. It'd be really interesting to see a high-voltage GMAC in front and a high-voltage Grin All-Axle in the back...
Does Grin make All-Axle for the rear?
@@sammiller6631 I believe so, I'm pretty sure that's why it's called the All-Axle.
@@leftcoastbeard It's called the All- Axle because you can change the size of the axle hole. From the website: "The All Axle motor is a direct-drive front hub that we designed to be universally compatible with all the variety of quick release and thru-axle front fork standards that exist in the bike world these days, as well as many single side mounts for trike and quad vehicles"
@@sammiller6631The rear All Axle is in development for 2023!
@@grintech-b-roll7081 Yay! I better start saving money now because rear wheel All-Axle motor is going to fly off the shelf.
Why didnt he just put qs 205 5t and fairdriver 96600?
I hope you could sell a kit with alteady dual motor cspability i would instantly buy it
This is a deep dive video on how to set up a dual motor ebike ua-cam.com/video/Ub4EP2_mAds/v-deo.html
Ive got the same Cirkit bike in green with a 7kW controller and a QS V3 5kw motor to keep the Sur-Rons away.
Ballpark estimate on how much you have into it?
I have a brand new cirkit came in July never ridden no battery I was going to work on it but just dont have the time let me know if you or anyone you know is interested in it
i stick with my aliexpress motor... 40.000km in 3 years is ok
i need grin products in germany 😍
Mines got doome in less than 20k
Hill eating stainless 🔥☝️🤟👽🚲
wouldn't it make more sense to have geared hub in the back for more torque/traction, direct drive in the front for more powerful Regen, and cruising which doesn't require much traction. although higher weight of direct drive in the front could make steering funny
I'm a brand affiliate of Fiido e-Bikes, located in Reno Nevada, & I just got a Fiido Q1S, & I'd really love if you guys would help me plan/design it, & if possible build with all Grin parts, I just received it today, & can't wait to start; ⚡"Project Lightening Bolt" ⚡😈
$7500, wow..
Stunning bikes! Makes me nervous though when people ride without a full face helmet. That dinky bike helmet is not going to save your face :(
That's a cute little motorcycle but someone should explain to you what an ebike is.
