Been a while since I played, but I think the Mario?! button is to shorten Luigi's door knob reaching animation.
the most impressive part of this tas for me is the exact 100,000,000G, that is some god tier routing
I'm gonna be honest. I don't believe they did that on accident. There's gotta be a like 2 frame time save somewhere that gives you an extra g.

I mean it's a TAS. It can dupe or not dupe items it picks up as it pleases to get this number. Same for avoiding sucking up certain coins.
The perfect money count is the most insane part of this. The skews, fine, the boo management, insane, to be exactly at 100,000,000?? The truly inhuman part.

The routing for this has to be so complicated with the tree of options for getting the score threshold, especially with duping involved. Very cool run, thanks for explaining and sharing.
Linkus, you're such a speed runner and talker that I can't watch at 1.1x speed as I typically do for speed run breakdowns of this length.

I was considering doing a perfect score tas at some point. Glad I became aware of this duplication glitch before then, that would have been embarrassing to do a full run and only have like 3/4ths of the true max.
I literally played this game fully for the first time last night on stream, and it took me about 7 hours. It left me annoyed with Boos and Bowser and disappointed that I only got a C
the first time? that's totally cool! you completed it! there's some unique money items that are basically required for high ranks..don't compose your self so harshly! try it again!!😊
The real challenge is Rank H anyways. Gotta avoid all money like the plague.

Luigi's Mansion is such a fantastic game. It's a shame that the sequels haven't gotten even close to being as good. Luigi's Mansion 3 is so bright that the flashlight is totally pointless, and the areas are too large and empty to be enjoyable...

the tas should at the very end somewhere looking at a single coin on the ground, circle it (to show it absolutely knows that there is a coin/money on the ground, being able to pic it up, but doesn't), and end up with 99 999 999 money instead. and inserting a Luigi failing cry sound. like it "wasn't" on purpose.

I tryed to watch this because I hate speed runs and I only got too five minutes. The reason I hate speed runs is because your just using glitches to get what you want so there is nothing special about it you might as well play the game normally and win that way
