- Hi, my name is Claire. I'm slowly transforming our English country style house into a home, while creating a cottage and kitchen garden at the same time. This ASMR silent vlog is about decorating our dining room for spring celebrations. I'm inspired by nature and only use what I have available to me at home to create our spring table decor and mantle, so this is very budget friendly. I love all aspects of a simple life and enjoy taking on most of our renovation projects myself.

Thank you! I would be so happy to share the things I do to preserve the flowers as the season progresses and more come into bloom. I live in a cold climate, so the season is slow to start but it has begun so shouldn't be long now.

Bonjour et merci pour cet agréable moment de poésie. J'adore la mousse et aussi les vieux nids. Celui ci était particulièrement beau surtout garni de plumes. Comme vous j'aime cueillir ici ou là des petits trésors de nature. Au plaisir de vous retrouver .

Where did the wallpaper come from, beautiful
Hi there, the wallpaper is by Zoffany. I have put the exact details of the wallpaper in the video description. We bought this wallpaper in 2019. It is still available but, like everything else, has risen quite a lot in price. It is very beautiful and I still love it as much as I did when we first bought it.
Wait, spraying water on a tablecloth gets the wrinkles out?
Yes! A trick I heard about a couple of years ago. I spray the fabric and let it sit for a minute or two while the fabric relaxes. Then I smooth out the cloth and leave it to dry.
How do you dry the flowers and preserve their color?
I pick the flowers when they are at their prime and most get hung upside down in a dry dark area. If they are picked a little too late, they can turn brown during the drying process. I plan to show what I do throughout the year as the flowers begin to bloom.
