Garden Wanderlust | Bringing Grand Ideas to our Cottage Garden | Nature Garden | Simple Living ASMR

- Hi, my name is Claire. I'm slowly transforming our English country style house into a home, while creating a cottage and kitchen garden. This ASMR silent vlog is about bringing grand ideas from a recent visit to a nature wildlife castle to our cottage garden. I take a look at all the work we've done so far in the garden and add a few extra things that I saw on our trip. I love all aspects of a simple life.

Luv luv luv. Thank you for taking us along. So calming and beautiful!
Hi there, I've tried a different style of writing, which isn't clear in some places. It wasn't obvious when I previewed the vlog. I do have captions available, which will be clearer and I will work on improving this for future videos. Sorry for this 🙃
Imagina, ficou ótimo!!! Que lugar incrível ❤
@@Paty.alacer Os castelos antigos sempre me fazem pensar em quem andava pelos corredores e vagava pelos jardins.
It’s all trail and error, it didn’t detract from the lovely content ❤️ I wish you were my neighbour, I’d be constantly intrigued what you were doing and how you were doing it 😁
@@louisechainey2940 Thank you for your reassurance. Your comment about being my neighbour made me laugh 🙂
How lucky you are to live in such a picturesque place.
Although we have a tiresome renovation project, we do feel very fortunate. We moved from London, so it's an enormous lifestyle change.
Hi there. You have such a beautiful garden and home. I love the sound of the birds.
Thank you so much! It definitely keeps me busy ;-)
The castle gardens are inspiring, but I love your interpretations way better. Your gardens are stunning. The little dog also has my heart!
Humphrey has my heart too ;-). Thank you for your lovely comment on my garden too.
What a wonderful way to enjoy a rainy morning having tea and watching your video! Beautiful gardens!
Ooh, I love a rainy weekend morning! Thank you and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
❤🙏
Beautiful flowers I love the flower garden
Thank you! I'm patiently waiting for the day it is a blanket of flowers and foliage ;-)
Your home and garden are beautiful. Such a great project. That castle is a great inspiration.
Thank you!
I really enjoy your videos Claire. I particularly like that they are without narration - I find it very restful. Your garden is shaping up well and I thought it was just me who moved plants around to make spaces for new things🤣🤣. Lots of great ideas. Thank you.
Thank you so much! It's nice to hear you enjoy the style of content. I also get caught out by the flower colour, which can be very different from the picture on the label and I end up thinking, 'Oh, no no no - that's not right!' Then a big shuffle starts ;-)
A beautiful garden and home!
Thank you!
Just subscribed. Inspiring video. Love your high stone wall and borders. Everything looks so lush and beautiful.
Thank you so much! 😊 Our garden stays quite green throughout the season, but this year we've had a particularly mild spring so it's looking even more lush.
Wow beautiful sharing ...

Thank for sharing
Thank you too :-)
Your gardens are just wonderful ❤. I love the informality of it , but it still has structure. Very peaceful and inspiring to watch 🌿🌷❤️
Thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed a peek into my garden. I was a bit worried about how it might come across in the video as I participate in 'No Mow May' so the grass is getting long.
You have a wonderful garden, so lucky to have ample room plant a variety of beautiful things
Thank you, Denise. Our previous garden was a lot smaller than this one. At first, it seemed a little daunting but now we seem to be in the swing of things and are enjoying how it's growing and changing.
Очень мило и душевно🌷🌷🌷🌸🌿👍👌👏💚
большое спасибо
👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love the way you have used natural things in your garden, to make it so beautiful Claire, as this is my kind of gardening - being as close to nature and natural things as possible. Thank you for this lovely video. Blessings from Jilly & Madge the rescue greyhound, from West Devon, England. xxx
Hi Jilly (and Madge), Thank you for your comment. I find the cost of a garden can run up quite quickly so using natural things saves us quite a bit of money but that aside, I think it adds a lovely quirky charm. Devon - such a beautiful part of the world!
@@BoundaryRoad Yes, I feel very lucky to have ended up here. xxx
Your soil looks fantastic. I’m guessing you have gone to a lot of work amending it. We are trying to add a lot of mulch into our soil as well.
We have sandy acidic soil. It has taken me four years to understand it and make improvements. I have a neighbour who has grown their own vegetables for 40 years. She has been such a help in improving our soil - having someone local giving advice is invaluable. Good luck with your soil!
So beautifully done and the way you present your creative heavy duty work in the gardens and around us simply inspirational. Where in England are you.? I enjoy everything
Thank you - we're in the north, so our climate is mild and the garden can be very slow to get going.
beautiful transformation, what a lovely garden you have created. What was the name of the nature wildlife castle garden you visited?
Thank you! We visited Brodie Castle. It's in the Scottish Highlands. If you're up that way, we also visited Dunrobin Castle. It has beautiful gardens too, but they are more formal than Brodie Castle.
I think you were at Brodie Castle ? Gorgeous vlog 💚💚
Thank you and yes, it was! Brodie Castle was such an inspiration for achievable natural/kitchen gardening. We also visited Dunrobin Castle, which is such an amazing formal garden but well beyond what I can create ;-)
@@BoundaryRoad I live in Inverness . Welcome to the Highlands 💚💚
What is the name of the fertilizer you throw in the hole?
Hello, It was bonemeal.
Beautiful, just simply beautiful!!! 🌷🪴🌞 15:16
