    Thank you for this very helpful video. What’s easy for a man to pull out parts took me, a senior woman, a long time to do😊

      You are too kind. The video is both sped up and has plenty of cut scenes in it. The raw video is around 2 hours long.
      Thank you for watching!

    Very helpful - I had to replace one of the side brush motors and this was most informative

    I'm trying to do this currently my wheel has disconnected the wire from the motor and the only way I can plug it in is by opening it up. I am struggling on that but though, it won't give and I don't want to break it further

      What are you having difficulty with?

    • @adamstones6187
      @adamstones6187 24 дні тому

      @welfarewagonrepairs trying to serpetate the lid section mine just won't separate and the amount of strength required to open it slightly I am a bit afraid I'll break it further and can't afford another 🙁

      @ are you sure you have all the screws removed?

    • @adamstones6187
      @adamstones6187 24 дні тому

      @@welfarewagonrepairs yeah all eight have been removed and I've triple checked but it won't give for some reason. Awesome video though mate it was helpful but this is a stumbling block atm.

      I think there are 10 screws, two are under the roller brush

    Hi there
    Your video to rip down and clean Robovac g30 nut I have a problem with the only thing you didn't cover being the roller brush... Can you help as it is not turning

    • @welfarewagonrepairs
      @welfarewagonrepairs  Місяць тому +1

      If you’ve already checked that the brush’s square end is in tact and it can be manually spun while installed it’s likely a stripped gear within the unit. I believe removing it should be straightforward, all you need to do is unscrew and remove the blower motor and the roller brush screws will be below it

    I have a g40 which is very similar to the one you show here, my step son ran it without the dust bin on and now I can hear little rocks inside the machine, do you think it will ruin the suction motor or should I try disassembling just like this?

    • @welfarewagonrepairs
      @welfarewagonrepairs  5 місяців тому

      I think it shouldn’t be a problem long term to keep using it with the rocks in it. If the sound bothers you. You can try pulling the exhaust filter out without disassembling the machine like I do in the video and shake the rocks out.

    I have the same type of robovac im having some issues with roller brush Is there a way we acn test the rollar brush functionality?

    • @welfarewagonrepairs
      @welfarewagonrepairs  10 місяців тому

      What kind of issues are you having? Does the brush spin if you force it with your hand? The other end of the brush has a removable cap and bearing you can pull out clean and try and grease. You can also trick the vacuum into starting by covering the 4 drop sensors with your hand or tape to make it think it’s on the ground. They do sell replacement roller brush motors on the eufy site

    • @welfarewagonrepairs
      @welfarewagonrepairs  10 місяців тому

      You could also try and start it without the brush installed to see if it spins.

      @@welfarewagonrepairs I found the roller brush was not rotating as it got tangled with hair and the square edge of roller brush which connects to the motors spinner is worn out (possible roller brush was stuck but spinner was strong enough that caused the square edge to smoothen out) thanks for the informative video on how to dismantle the robot and identity the issues much appreciated sir.

    I had to revise this comment I really do like the X8 pro version of this Hoover and above as older pieces are relatable, it's a good product just works that's what it says on the tin.. I wasn't all that impressed with this one and it was a bit stupid bash again, through everything. I don't know why people buy the ones without lidar

    My G10 hybrid had a trouble after 4 years served, it supposed to do straight about 3 meters, and then make a u turn, and so on, two days ago it started went strange, once i turned it on it went straight aout 10 centimetres and turned just like it tried to avoid something, even there is nothing insight, and after sometime, it send error message on my apps that said front bumper stuck, i checked the front bumper, and it was fine.. What happened to my G10 hybrid? Can someone explain to me? 🥲

      The actual buttons within the machine that the bumper pushes against maybe stuck. Alternatively the machine maybe scared of sunlight as it fools the uv sensors into thinking it’s about to crash
