I bought this robot based on this review. I've had it for less than a day. So far worth every penny. I've spent the day wondering why I didn't get one sooner. A few things I've learned already: Make sure cords and other random obstacles are picked up. Try not to add obstacles to the environment after the robot has started, as it seems to throw it off some. I have bamboo floor and they are rather slippery, so I've found i need to secure the home base a little as the robot will knock it around while trying to dock and undock. Again in one day I feel it's worth every penny and my only regret is I didn't get one sooner.. Thanks for the review, very informative!
nice review. i've always thought robot vacs were way too pricey and no way i would get one, but $200 is reasonable and it looks like it's pretty comparable to roomba.
My sister-in-law bought one for my wife and me. It's a Roomba, pretty high-level model. I don't get it. It takes forever, if you REALLY want to clean everywhere, you're going to be moving a lot of chairs, ottomans, shoes, trash cans, etc., you have to empty the microscopic bin often (and that's an unpleasant task), it won't fit under EVERYTHING (most stuff, yeah, but maybe not the couch or a chair or something). I considered it a "gimmick" when I first discovered them and I wouldn't ever consider buying one. Now that I own one, I urge other people to NOT buy one. Yes, it's a "gimmick." Just grab a broom or a vacuum cleaner and do it the old-fashioned way. It's easier.
I have had an Eufy for a year. It does a better job than I thought it would. It can navigate under most of the furniture without a problem. It will tangle into cords so we had to tie wrap those. There is one place in the kitchen it will get stuck. If I hit the backup button it will dislodge itself. It does a very good job picking up dog hair off the carpet and hardwoods. I've been very satisfied with this product.
Really like most of their products.I got their Bluetooth speaker, a wireless charging pad and a powerbank. They somehow manage to build common stuff for a cheaper price than everyone else, without having to compromise on quality.

I have had one for a couple months now since our regular vacuum hose broke and wasn't able to be replaced. Saves me so much physical pain as I have multiple physical disabilities. I run it almost every day as I have two under 5 years old. Lifesaver for me and helps my relationship as my husband was getting really cranky with me having to ask him to vacuum every other day.
I live alone with 2 dogs and this goes A LONG WAY to helping me keep my place clean. The dog can sometimes get messy and leave kibble and fur everywhere and I get home and with one press of a button, I can do dishes or other things while knowing that the Eufy has the floor covered. It's a great device for the price.

My 2008 rommba just died. It makes sense it runs everyday so it’s bound to happen. It did a good job to for being 11 years old. It sucks but I’m going to get a new one. Can’t imagine how the new ones are.
I have a Eufy named Gary. He does a fine job of cleaning. I have long hair that wraps around the sweepers in front and around the rolling sweeper in the middle. I pop them off after each use and remove the hair so that Gary can do a good job each time. I run mine every day since I am allergic to dust mites. I empty the cartridge that collects the dust after every use just to keep it from getting overfull. It's so quick and easy to do. I love my Eufy and have had it for over a year. He gets stuck now and then and needs help, but it's a game changer if you have dust mite allergies!
Some people have complained about the front sweepers wearing out very fast (other brand of vacuum, but same idea). They had to use the replacement brushes after a few weeks and then need to buy more. How are yours holding up?
I've had my robot slave (the same model) for 3 months now and it's scheduled to run every day. The sweepers look like they're almost new but I get that it's mostly to do with the fact that almost all my floors are tiles and only one small(ish) bedroom has a carpet
Ive owned robot vacuums since the Roomba Discovery series. I had 4 Roombas fail on me (under warranty)...so like a car brand, I avoid Roomba. They cleaned, but didn’t impress me. Skip ahead 10 years and the robot vacuum market had improved. I bought the Dyson 360 Eye, despite many bad reviews. I was impressed with the power, cleaning pattern, and build quality. Dyson no longer offered parts for the 360 Eye and offered reimbursement, so I accepted. I’ve tried the Neato Botvac, and Shark Ion since then. I miss my 360 Eye and can’t wait for their next version to hit the USA.
I've had a Neato robot vac for a couple of years now and with 12 cats and a dog I wouldn't be without it. Does a great job. You can block the Neatos from going where you don't want them too with magnetic strips. Unfortunately one of our cats had an accident, for some reason the strip had moved and the Neato went over it. Thankfully, we stopped the Neato before nasty stuff got spread but we had to take the Neato apart and clean it thoroughly (easy with the Neatos) and all is good again. If you have pets, the robot vacs really are a godsend. I still use my Henry vacuum but not very often.
I got the Eufy 11s for Xmas and it is awesome! Every day it runs automatically and every day it picks up a baseball sized blob of hair and dirt. When I think about how I used to sweep my floors every 2 weeks it makes me ill.
I went through the exact same process and finally bought a Eufy as well. My experience with it convinced me that robovacs are a viable substitute to manual vacuums and now I would be willing to spend even more on a better model.
I have a Eufy Robovac 15C and I haven't vacuumed or swept in 6 months. I'll never go back. I spend a little time maintaining the little roller brush, mostly because I have three cats, a dog, and two long haired women living in this house. All in all that takes up about 5 minutes a week of my life. This little gizmo was worth every penny.
So I know this wasn't a Home tour but your home is so tasteful and elegant. Plus gone through so many reviews that lost count but yours shines out as so authentic and useful. Good job with the review.
The Eufy 11s is indeed a very good machine for the price! Flat 40m², no animals, light carpets with short hair, bathroom tiles light green. It's unbelievable how well it cleans! I recommend!
We have two EUFY 11S that scoot around every night at 01:30 am. They start within seconds of each other and cover the house extremely well when we are asleep. Plus we often start them manually (pushing the blue button, or use the remote) as we leave the house because we do find them a tad noisy. Yes, they are noisy and they like to knock on our bedroom door! It can be fun to watch them "ping-pong" around the various rooms until they go "orange-light mode" and quietly start sniffing for their EUFY charging station. They will find it 9 times out of ten ( 10/10 in a small apartment we think...) and soon ready for work the next morning. We clean the "nappy" i.e. the dust collecting box every two three days and honestly, it is a bit scary to see how incredibly effective the pair really are in doing the cleaning job around the house. So no doubts that they clean our floors very well! If you like to be bare-foot or walk around in socks, you do appreciate the smooth feel of clean floors. . The tips I can share is that it is a very good idea to fix the charging-station with Velcro-tape to the wall shirting board behind it. If loose, the Robovac tend to push it around so it may end up out of reach. The other tip is that we don't see much point in using the two removable filters, a HEPA filter and a sponge-mat. We have tossed those two filters and run our two EUFY 11S team with just the one prime screen filter. It is so much simpler to clean and maintain and the power is definitely boosted when running without the two extra sucker-filters. Maybe the additional two filters are worthwhile if a family-member suffers from some airborne allergy? We have found our pair of Robovac a very good purchase and blissfully without silly distractions like Bluetooth and "magic mapping", etc. No thanks because my time is valuable! Besides, the remote control is fine and dandy for any additional commands. Ooh, we got two EUFY's 11S because after a year or so we could not stand the thought of being without one, would it fail on us. But they just keep soldering on together... night after night. Conclusion: They fill their 0.6 litre dust-pans quick and well, nuff said. Except, what else can you ask for?

Some people will loot and some people will be after them beating with sticks and if everything goes well something will be clean India truly deserve these
My husband talked me into getting a Roomba. I thought it was silly and a bit lazy. We had a small house at the time. We have cats and one of them sheds quite a bit. Well he made a believer out of me. I love my always clean floors! Mop once a week with the occasional spot mop in between... done! I’ve ran my upright behind the Roomba and it picks up almost nothing. I’ll never go back.
Many years ago. My Nan got a karcher and it cost a lot! It's got sensors all around it (top, perimeter, bottom), you can set times for when you want to clean, it knows when the batteries going flat and goes back to charges itself, same goes for when it's full it goes back to the base and empties itself and there must be so many other features that I can't remember but it was the dogs danglies.
Roborock 2 is my companion and is doing great. It got it's own application meaning it logs every location its been on a map it scan in real time. It doesnt go random paths everywhere like this one, but cleans a certain part of the house at a time. If you have a carpet that it manages to get on top of only from certain places and fails to get up anywhere else it will go back to the places he got up earlier for more attempts and usually succeed as it knows from memory where it's been and managed to get up before. You can watch it live from anywhere with an internet connection and see where it has been as it shows cleaned and uncleaned areas. Can be controlled and started/stopped from the same application and will give feedback on your phone when its stuck or just finished cleaning. Also have a mopping function and is able to do the mopping if you add the mopp and water. Easy set up a schedule if needed in the application and even set a time when no vacuum is allowed. Easy read cleaning history. The roborock is connected to the wifi so its easy to update its firmware trough it's application. Can be remotely controlled from anywhere with wifi or set to clean a certain area by marking the area or set zones to clean. Easy to add no go zones or barriers for the vacuum in the application. It will avoids or stop if these places as reached. I did consider the I robot, but function, how it cleans and value for money I'd say roborock 2.0 is more for your money with functions few others at it's price range can offer. If you wanna name it you can do that as well in the application. 😉
Lots of sub $400 robot vacuums in the market these days. No need to spend the money on the most expensive unless you know your have to have those features. I bought a Neato D4 Connected a couple of months ago and I don't know how I lived without it. I'm still amazed at how much dirt it finds even though I run it 3 days a week while I'm at work. If you have pets that shed at all, you'll cry tears of joy at how much of your time these things will save.
great video. thanks for sharing. I spent close to $800 on an iRobot vacuum a few years back, and I'm kicking myself now because there are a handful of sub $300 robot vacuums on the market today that seem to do just as well! Ugh!
Don’t kick yourself if it’s still working, I’ve bought a few cheap ones 300~400 bucks and they’ve proof unreliable, I got a Roomba 980 and have been amazing even after sucking a lot of water from a broken plumbing line it still works fine

Are robot vacuum cleaners worth it? Yes, especially for those who are handicapped such as myself. They give a tiny bit of 'normalization' to be able to have one less thing that you have to depend on others, that alone makes it a worthwhile investment
My neighbor has a dog and a roomba , the dog took a dump on the floor and the roomba mindlessly tracked it all over the house in little sh?! Wheel tracks , I just got done helping him cut the carpet out of his whole house . It was hilarious he was banging on my door at 130 am yelling " oh god it's awful , help me , bring razor blades every one you've got " I thought the Hindenburg crashed on his living room floor ! . The roomba i7 was the game changer for me. It has the home station that suctions out the vac bin as it gets filled and then you empty the home station every few weeks. I don't have to run around emptying the vac bin every time the thing runs.
I might consider getting one since my wife is always on me about sweeping and vacuuming the floor/carpet everyday. I love how it has a timer which will make life easier since my wife and I don't have to be there to turn it on.
I bought a shark ion robot recently at Wal-Mart for 149.99 and omg I bought border strips and it works omg I love it my place is small and it cleans the whole living room and hallway in 15 mins it so worth it.
I got the 15C Max on the strength of your review which I think is the best on the Net. Well done, I've just subscribed. The 15C Max is similar to yours and has the links with Alexa and and iPhone (as well as lesser phones, etc), extra boost and longer battery life for 25% more. One thing I've found is the Eufy seems to keep track of where its been and where home is located. Even if in another room, sending back home via Alexa or remote control and the Eufy navigates there quite easily.
You can attach a bluetooth speaker onto one and it will drive around the house playing music. You can call it DJ Roomba rest in peace DJ Roomba after Jerry stepped on it
I have a Xiaomi robot vaccuum and it's like the difference between having a dishwasher or washing by hand. Sure it's possible, but having to take care of one repeating chore less makes me actually happy. Each time I get a bing on my phone telling me my flat is clean is a relief.
i havent got one but i have watched many videos because i am thinking of buying one. it would definitely clean broken glass as long as the pieces are small enough to not clog the mechanism. for wet surfaces you would need to buy the more expensive vacuums which also have a mopping function.
Bought the newer 11+ on Woot about 4 months ago for like 100 as a refurb and I love it. We set it to run every day at 1pm while we're working and it randomly cleans surprisingly well on the low pile carpet and vinyl floors our 1400sf 4br house has. The main areas stay clean and I later picked up a nice Shark ionx2 duo clean cordless with 2 batteries I use to cover the places the parrot keeps dropping his crumbs all over and occasional missed spots. All the main parts are available and reasonably cheap so you can replace and repair as needed. I think new ones come with a year warranty and they are very responsive. I had to replace the roller brush cover after a few months as it kept running over cords and things tearing up the rubber strip. I think I paid 8 to 10 bucks and it showed up quickly and is a slightly stronger design. I'd say whatever you buy make sure it has the roller power brush as they works so much better than the ones with just the dual edge brushes, especially on low carpet. If you want to spend big money get one with the laser room mapping sensors as it actually sees the room and obstacles and builds a map as it goes till it knows the layout and avoids things it has found. I have a couple of nice old school metal Royal vacuums and I hardly need to run them now. It does get stuck or trapped occasionally and it beeps and eventually shuts off till you rescue it and start it again. It usually eventually finds the charging dock as well but not always. We have learned to pick up cables and obstructions so it doesn't grab things or get stuck as often. We close doors where it doesn't need to go or setup blockers on the bad places for it.
5:46 It looks so funny trying to climb on the carpet with its little flipper things on the bottom side, it reminds me of a dog trying to jump on the owners bed while the owner is watching tv on their bed.
My husband bought me this vaccum... It's just ideal for under the beds tables etc. It does a great job every day as there's no need for me to be sweeping... Of course I do a general deep clean with my other shark rocket as that has attachments ❣️❤️
I’ve had one, and can’t personally recommend buying if you own a Large home. I owned a irobot 17+. I found it to be very slow and annoying. It was supposed to be the top of the line with Zero maintenance. Besides changing the Bag. It would run out of battery life, and I would have to Place it back on the charger. But doing that would disrupt the memory, and rather recharging and going back to where it left off. It would just restart the process from the beginning. My Downstairs is around 2000sq feet. Tile Floor with only the bed rooms being carpeted. Had it for a week, and decided to send it back. Bought a Shark ION P50 to replace it.
Thanks for the review! I have a Roomba and I love it! I will definitely always own a robot vacuum from now on. I forget which specific model ours is, as we received it as a holiday gift, but the Eufy looks pretty great for less than half the price! I don't recall the Roomba coming with extra brushes or a cleaning tool. We don't need a remote because ours interfaces with Alexa and is voice controlled, and ours is scheduled to run at 11am every day. After your review, though, the Eufy looks like it is the same or better than the Roomba. Maybe I'll try this brand if/when my Roomba breaks down! We tend to run ours every day. We still run the regular vacuum once a month or so - to get edges or pet fur or hair that the Roomba has missed. Our pets shed quite a bit and we have mostly carpet, so it doesn't quite do everything. We run it every day, so we also empty it every day. It does keep our house a lot cleaner, though. First, the carpet almost always looks freshly vacuumed. Second, knowing the Roomba will roam around while we're gone makes us keep stuff up and off the floors. The only trouble is that it likes to get trapped under the couch. It also terrifies our dog! Now, if only they had one of these for upholstered furniture - and a vertical one for the windows and shower wall! The "push a button and something gets cleaned" aspect of it is, as you said, absolutely amazing. Makes me feel like I'm in a sci-fi movie when I say, "Alexa, run the vacuum" and a little robot pops out to go to work!
I like your idea of putting its home under a cabinet. Our Eufy (2019 xmas gift) sleeps in plain sight where I'd rather have a plant or something. Enjoyed your video!
So far so good with this vacuum. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
I got the Eufy Robovac 11S,had it 2 days now and love it.it can go under the kingsized bed and other heavy furniture.it's also good at clearing cat hair.

I miss my 360 Eye and can’t wait for their next version to hit the USA.
My Roomba kept bumping into my LG dishwasher and 8 weeks later I found a handvac that plays the Korean national anthem in my kitchen.
Really?

My Roomba got my cat pregnant, WTF???
You will not give pancake doggo such a crude name.
I got the Eufy 11s for Xmas and it is awesome! Every day it runs automatically and every day it picks up a baseball sized blob of hair and dirt. When I think about how I used to sweep my floors every 2 weeks it makes me ill.
UA-cam recommendations in 2019 are beautiful.
I went through the exact same process and finally bought a Eufy as well. My experience with it convinced me that robovacs are a viable substitute to manual vacuums and now I would be willing to spend even more on a better model.
Im so lazy i need this shit in my life, hahah.
Me too that's why I got the princess one,£200,I got a cat so it's great to put on ,cleaning done!
This little gizmo was worth every penny.
my family has the exact same one, we call it “Alice”
So I know this wasn't a Home tour but your home is so tasteful and elegant. Plus gone through so many reviews that lost count but yours shines out as so authentic and useful. Good job with the review.
If you call it a slave then yes.
Will it eat drapes if they touch the floor?
after watching you video for 5 seconds i subscribed. simply because of the nice quick intro and the title.
ha thats amazing thanks a lot!
The Eufy 11s is indeed a very good machine for the price! Flat 40m², no animals, light carpets with short hair, bathroom tiles light green. It's unbelievable how well it cleans! I recommend!
got my first roomba back in 2003.. only thing i have had to do is get a new battery for it twice.. still going
very nice!
hmm
Except, what else can you ask for?
ah its been a while since ive heard the term "robot slave"... Ahhh good shit...

Yes definitely. I bought one for my wife for Christmas and it feels now like it was a gift to myself. Awesome to have something vacuum while I'm doing other chores.
first good review for the eufy. nice
TOP review. Best review of these robotic cleaners I've seen so far. Honest and from a normal person. Not some marketing PR crap you can't trust.
Thank you!
What would happen if say 10,000 of these were set loose in India?
the poor people would steal it and resell it
thats a very good question, its annoying that he didn't talk about this

My husband talked me into getting a Roomba. I thought it was silly and a bit lazy. We had a small house at the time. We have cats and one of them sheds quite a bit. Well he made a believer out of me. I love my always clean floors! Mop once a week with the occasional spot mop in between... done! I’ve ran my upright behind the Roomba and it picks up almost nothing. I’ll never go back.
Ur getting a self vacuum robot and a rc car, that's a pretty good deal!
I turn mine on and open a beer. When wife calls I say I’ve been busy vacuuming, they are priceless.
😁🤣🤣🤣
😂 😂😂😂
12:30 omg me all day with this vacuum, usually happens once every time I run it. But its really good overall, I highly recommend this model.
What's up with the audio at 6:17?
I thought my headphones were getting bombed
Sounded like the "triggered" meme audio clips. lol
If the controller is IR or RF based, you could use a Broadlink RM Pro to control the vacuum remotely. It is also Google Home and Alexa compatible.
It's Japanese... see the texts its hiragana/katakana and kanji ;P
ha i should know that i lived there for 10 years !
Eufy is part of Anker which is a Chinese company. Anker makes chargers, power banks, cables, etc
Might buy this for my mum for her birthday
-- lmao thanks
Thanks for taking the time to make this. Just what I wanted to see after reading a couple reviews. Going to purchase my own now.
nice, nice. you got it up and running?>
Hell ya man. I'm shocked with how seamlessly well this thing works!
that is great to hear!

Ugh!
yowsa! yeah even some sub 200 ones now too, good to know if you ever need to replace tho
you paid extra money to have it years earlier then he did you also helped drive the market which led to him even being able to have a $200 one today.
Ian Cruickshanks BUT youre a few years ahead on free time from anyone else so really they should be kicking themselves for not getting one sooner 🤨🧐🤔
Don’t kick yourself if it’s still working, I’ve bought a few cheap ones 300~400 bucks and they’ve proof unreliable, I got a Roomba 980 and have been amazing even after sucking a lot of water from a broken plumbing line it still works fine

You mean ‘sentient’?
Are robot vacuum cleaners worth it? Yes, especially for those who are handicapped such as myself. They give a tiny bit of 'normalization' to be able to have one less thing that you have to depend on others, that alone makes it a worthwhile investment
My neighbor has a dog and a roomba , the dog took a dump on the floor and the roomba mindlessly tracked it all over the house in little sh?! Wheel tracks , I just got done helping him cut the carpet out of his whole house . It was hilarious he was banging on my door at 130 am yelling " oh god it's awful , help me , bring razor blades every one you've got " I thought the Hindenburg crashed on his living room floor ! . Actually it did it was a 6 inch version made out of used up Alpo. Ohhh the Humanity.
I guess he never heard of carpet cleaner.
This is not the first time I've heard of these robots spreading dog shit everywhere.
Wowwww spreading dog shit you’re a savior I didn’t think about this 😂😂😂
@@calliph ha, yeah so nasty, i did mention this in the video actually as it happened to my friend as well. best buy covered them because they had the warranty ha. gave them a brand new samsung version one
The roomba i7 was the game changer for me. It has the home station that suctions out the vac bin as it gets filled and then you empty the home station every few weeks. I don't have to run around emptying the vac bin every time the thing runs.
How did I go from watching game of thrones theory videos to videos about vacuum cleaners 🤷♂️
UA-cam my friend, always diving into the wormhole lol.
I might consider getting one since my wife is always on me about sweeping and vacuuming the floor/carpet everyday. I love how it has a timer which will make life easier since my wife and I don't have to be there to turn it on.
fun fact: the word robot comes from the czech word for "slave". so the title of this video is redundant :D

I bought a shark ion robot recently at Wal-Mart for 149.99 and omg I bought border strips and it works omg I love it my place is small and it cleans the whole living room and hallway in 15 mins it so worth it.
3:43 when its done finishing lol
I got the 15C Max on the strength of your review which I think is the best on the Net. Well done, I've just subscribed. The 15C Max is similar to yours and has the links with Alexa and and iPhone (as well as lesser phones, etc), extra boost and longer battery life for 25% more. One thing I've found is the Eufy seems to keep track of where its been and where home is located. Even if in another room, sending back home via Alexa or remote control and the Eufy navigates there quite easily.
You can attach a bluetooth speaker onto one and it will drive around the house playing music. You can call it DJ Roomba
rest in peace DJ Roomba after Jerry stepped on it
RIP little DJ of awesomeness. Sorry for your loss...
I have a Xiaomi robot vaccuum and it's like the difference between having a dishwasher or washing by hand. Sure it's possible, but having to take care of one repeating chore less makes me actually happy. Each time I get a bing on my phone telling me my flat is clean is a relief.
It's hard to hear you when you trail off after every sentence.
esp. when he said how often it should be emptied ....didn't understand that..
Gordon Tendick ikr he mumbles a lot
Very true
Trail off? What does it mean?
he said he empties it once a week. not sure how you didnt understand that.
Can this be used for wet surfaces or for cleaning broken glass ?
i havent got one but i have watched many videos because i am thinking of buying one. it would definitely clean broken glass as long as the pieces are small enough to not clog the mechanism. for wet surfaces you would need to buy the more expensive vacuums which also have a mopping function.
ailouros24 I ordered it .. let’s see now .. Thanks for replying 👍🏻
No problem. If you remember it come back here and comment on your experience after a month of use.
ailouros24 I will
lol. Thanks for the poop warning. Great video.
I love my eufy
nice
5:46 It looks so funny trying to climb on the carpet with its little flipper things on the bottom side, it reminds me of a dog trying to jump on the owners bed while the owner is watching tv on their bed.
Remember when you could buy a regular slave

It should have a phone app
totally agree, the 11c version has it, and a slightly more cost
I'm so happy with my xiaomi robot
great to hear, i don't think that one is avail in the us, but xiaomi makes good stuff
