Hola Brian. I have a 23 Venza ( I read the manual when I find time ). Rav has same steering wheel stock and safety features so I watched this for a quick tutorial. You showed the auto wipers mean rain sensing.. that explains why my wipers change speed automatically.. 🤭 I didn't know before your video. You are so thorough. Keep 'em coming. 👍🏾🤩

Got my Toyota RAV4 hybrid 2023 yesterday . I paid additional for a kill switch (compustar) that they told is adding more protection to prevent theft . Do I use only that instead of the factory remote to lock the car , or do I have to use the compustar additionally, after locking using factory remote ?
Can we ask questions? You seem to know this vehicle very well. Just got a preowned 2023 RAV4 LE. FWD Only a few hundred miles. on it. Everything seemed good. Then I opened the windows. Specifically, the 2 rear windows. The noise level and air pressure in the cabin increased dramatically. I had to shut them after only a few seconds. My eardrums hurt. It only has this effect when the rear windows are open. Don't notice it when the front windows are both down took it back to the dealer and they said everything was good and it was safe to drive. the technician said he experienced it too. But it was perfectly safe to drive. "It's the nature of this vehicle." This car is air tight and the air has nowhere else to go. In 50 years of driving i have never experienced this loud rattling humming vibration for opening the back windows. I've listened to all sorts of opinions. From It's a lemon To nothing's wrong with it. It's missing a bolt.. maybe a bracket.. something is loose. ..this doesn't happen in the ones with a better sound system it would have more noise cancellation. and the factory assembled the chassis incorrectly. I know next to nothing about cars. How serious is this? What could be the cause? Should I trade it in immediately? Any suggestions for an old lady? is there someone I should talk to about this? Please and thank you
I first experienced this phenomenon in the late 70’s in my mom’s 1965 Mercedes 220S. We used to say it sounds like a helicopter was landing on the roof! I’ve now been an automotive technician since 1981 and have found a few other cars that experience the crazy resonance. On some models it is perfectly normal. As a Mercedes Technician for the last 19 years I only recently found it occurring on a MB model. I can tell it is normal and just and simply annoying sound resonance that affects certain models.
You can delete it from the screen in your settings or factory reset the car. The dealer should have done this. They can do it for you if you can’t get it done.

You basically accept all of the services and whichever ones you don’t want to use you don’t need to worry about using because Toyota does not automatically charge you when the trials expire.
When you download the app you have the chance to accept the terms and activists whichever services are available. You have a bit of picking and choosing to do. Did you just get the car? Your salesperson is specifically supposed to do this with you.
Known issues w/ Toyota connect? I just got my 2024 Rav4 XLE Premium and the app may work half the time if that! Not very happy w/ that and won't be purchasing when trial is up. I think Toyota should be investing more money on this side of technology as well as their vehicles.
I have a '23 Rav4 XLE hybrid. The wife and I both love it. However I have a problem with android auto. I have no problem connecting, either wireless or wired, but it will disconnect anywhere between 2 and 30 minutes. I get the message "connection timed out". I have tried every tip I can find on the internet but nothing seems to help. If anyone out there has any idea how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. As I am running out of ideas I am currently considering reinstalling the apps on the infotainment system as a last gasp effort. I almost forgot to mention that after it disconnects I have no problem reconnecting by simply restarting the infotainment system.
I think a lot of the features are manual. I was thinking of a RAV4 but from what I see they are AWD. I do not want a moon roof. The manufacturers are shoving a lot of features to the consumers that are very confusing. Depending on the model leather is no longer leather they want to protect the environment. I will just have to stay with my car for now. Thanks.
@@brianruperti need leather seats due to a bad back for many years also need a lift tailgate. I would be giving up a 6 cylinder for a 4. I understand the 4 is powerful. Definitely no hybrid. I spent 2 hours with a Toyota trying to sell me used or hybrid or Highlander. They wanted a deal that day. Have had Highlanders venza Lexus. I was just looking for a smaller SUV. Thanks.

What about the RAV4 LE? Or the XLE base without packages so you get the electronic seat but not sunroof or heated stuff?
