There was a time not that long ago that vinyl seats were cheaper than cloth. I had a plain Jane GMC with vinyl seats and everyone thought it was leather. Anyhow to each their own but I find cloth warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, just not as cool looking.
My wife and I just purchased a non premium XLE on Friday. Living in Florida we love cloth seats! Warm in the winter and no burning legs in the summer wearing shorts. We also don’t need a glass hole in the roof in the hot Florida sun. We’re quite happy with our XLE and we saved through the Costco Auto Program.
I have a paid off 2017 Acura with only about 80,000kms on it and was just thinking today of trading it in for a SUV. Always thought I'd upgrade to a more practical SUV like the RAV4. Maple Toyota is super close to me and I would definitely get a good chunk off the price with my trade in - but 10 to 12 months estimated waiting time? Heck no, lol that sort of anticipation would drive me nuts with potential disappointments if the dates get pushed back. I'll just stick to my car for now and save the monthly payments. If the supply chain gets better in 2023, I'll think about it again.
Probably not, Tire aspect ratio will be lowered to compensate for the increased wheel diameter. Overall negligible but will likely make for a bit harsher ride. As well as more expensive tires....
The xle sells in New England for 35 k with all packages included which is basically the premium option without leather . Way better to go xle and not premium
Totally agree. I don't see these options worth over 2k to add much.I ordered an XLE and will be arriving in a month or less, hopefully. Fog lights are useless form what I have seen in real world
I bought a 2021 XLE Premium in April after comparing it to the XLE. I really wanted the Softex as well as the upgraded 19" wheels and felt it was well worth the price. Love the memory seats as the driving is shared with my wife. Another difference is the XLE Premium had a leather wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter as well as a larger head unit. Is that still the case on the 2023 XLE Premium?
Also I would like to point out there is extra options on the premium power lifted tail gate jbl sound system, heated seats and steering wheel back up mirror 🪞
2023 RAV4 CarPlay Navigation Issues while connect your phone to use the Apple Map or Google Map. The issues with their navigation over Apple CarPlay randomly putting them off-road, on parallel roads, or even off the route completely, like taking an exit ramp you're not on. If you are own one RAV4 2023, please test it out too see if you having an issue with the CarPlay. Toyota knew the issue. I don't know if Toyota will take this seriously or not, but it's been so long for them to fix it. I hope more people know about it and complain to your Toyota dealer and open case with Toyota Brand Engagement Center, so they can take action faster. Thanks.
How long is the wait time for xle premium non hybrid bro? I ordered one in Richmond and it’s been more than a month now but haven’t heard anything from them yet.
Hi Marc, is it true that the LE trims means Low End? I went to my local dealer and they said the LE is Low End while the XLE is eXtra Luxury Edition. Btw, how long is the wait time on the hybrids now? Thanks.
2 year wait or more by that time other manufacturers should have better car options available Toyota has been a huge disappointment in their wait times
@@Wall.Street.AV. in canada those are standard with the XLE base, might differ depending on the country. The premium gives us softex seats, 19” alloy wheels, fog lamps and memory powered driver seat.
@@sambathsan4886agreed. I just bought an XLE premium in Canada. Although the dealer mentioned it was a "moonroof" which is better than the XLE "sunroof". I have no idea what the difference is because they are entirely irrelevant gimmicks regardless.

Did you mention the power lift gate? Is that standard on both?
Does anyone know if the fuel economy is affected with bigger 19” wheels vs 17” wheels?

Get a RAV4 XLE Hybrid unpackaged and use the $2500.00 savings on customizations. You'll get only what you want.
xD $2000. I applaud you for trying to make any of that feel worth it.
Lol you forgot about the moonroof and the power lift gate for the premium.
That standard for both XLE and XLE premium.
@sambathsan4886 incorrect. I had to go with the xle premium because I wanted the power lift door and the soon roof.

Damn, I wish I upgraded to the premium. But too late. As expecting regular XLE Coming in early April.
2024 hybrid rab4 will same changes …
Left out the heated steering wheel
17' wheel better in ride quality
Toyota manufacturing has to get there act together!!!.
Close to a year leadtime?
Gimme a break!!!
I'll go elsewhere!
It's too expensive for regular workers
