Why is everyone down playing this? . He rammed the cart intentionally and caused her to become momentarily slumped over unconscious, she would have needed to go hospital and get scans done to make sure there's no brain hemorrhage. I take it that it didn't happen that day because the parents probably didn't find out what happened. That kid could have brain damage.
For those interested, this is what the guy with the camera wrote when this was first uploaded (in 2011) (original text follows): Me crashing on an alpine coaster in Austria. Went to Insbruck hospital after as I did my back in. Things you missed in the video. 1) Your not allowed to stop on the slope for any reason 2) The father thought it was a good idea to stop on the slope 4 times 3) I had a massive queue of people behind me because of the plebs in front. 4) I had waited a year to do this slope, gave them plenty of time to get some distance, they where clearly waiting to annoy me. 5) It was a rage quit where the only way was down !! He was clearly using his kids as bate, they where collateral in his little games. On the way to the start we all shared the same gondola, I explained to him I had been waiting almost a year to do the slope. You can see him laughing as he gets the kid out of the coaster at the end. What happened I believe is Alpine coasters space the riders far apart so it's very difficult to hit anyone.. The parents deliberately stopped on the ride several times so that their family could catch up to each other and go down the ride slowly while talking. This is completely dangerous and against the rules. That's not how an alpine coaster works and you're not supposed to ride together as a family. It's dangerous to do that.

If this is true then the girl who actually got rammed was literally stuck between her family and this manchild who shot the footage. I had a similar experience with similar activity while vacationing in Germany. Douchebag behind me and his buddies behind him. He kept ramming into me so I decided to get revenge by braking the entire time. He and eventually his friends, one by one, slowed to a crawl and we looked like a train. What should have been a quick end to a 5 minute ride, took almost 15 minutes. He was cussing me the entire way and I was laughing so hard, I nearly pee'd my pants. Things you missed in the video.
1) Your not allowed to stop on the slope for any reason
2) The father thought it was a good idea to stop on the slope 4 times
3) I had a massive queue of people behind me because of the plebs in front.
4) I had waited a year to do this slope, gave them plenty of time to get some distance, they where clearly waiting to annoy me.
5) It was a rage quit where the only way was down !!

He kept ramming into me so I decided to get revenge by braking the entire time. He and eventually his friends, one by one, slowed to a crawl and we looked like a train. What should have been a quick end to a 5 minute ride, took almost 15 minutes. He was cussing me the entire way and I was laughing so hard, I nearly pee'd my pants. What really killed him was when I kept waving at him as if telling him to pass me and he was screaming "we're on a single track you stupid b*#!@, I can't pass!" ROFL...good times

Nothing he did was right- he ignored multiple signs saying to slow down, he stopped completely and then made sure to not brake on the corners so he would hit her as hard as he could out of spite bc ‘he can’t go as fast as he wanted’. Go-karting and bumper cars are more suited, but with the amount of anger this man showed after something as simple as some people just going a lil ‘too slow’ and following the rules, he busted a poor girl’s spine. Had she been sat differently, or been sat up straight, she could have died. She was a little girl and he was a grown man with very serious anger issues.
