Hood guy’s mom has confirmed that he indeed has autism. His case is bad enough that she wouldn’t let him move out of her house and pretty much has to babysit his daily routine/life.
This video should be used as a perfect case study in sociology classes. You can see the gears turning in Caveman’s head, over several minutes, as he desperately fights the urge to tell Chibi to fuck off, until finally losing the battle and saying it as politely as possible. Conversely, you can see the gears turning in Chibi’s head as he keeps trying to find ways to establish genuine chemistry with Caveman, miserably failing each and every single time. I think almost everyone has occupied one or both of these guys’ positions in at least one point in their life.
Yeah and I honestly feel bad for chibi because it's a dead room and he probably feels like it's his "job" to make the stream interesting. Well, he succeeded...

It's weird because his quips at first are actually ok. But at a certain point I just would really prefer if he would be quiet.

its your subconscious making you think he stopped being funny. His performance never changed, its just that when you notice the awkward atmosphere, anything and EVERYTHING he would say would make you feel uncomfortable. People are really sleeping on the phenomenon that ones perception of the other person can be shifted ridiculously by how the environment treats them. You can have the absolute room killer of a funny kid in your class and you would admire his energy but put him in a room of people that doesn't laugh at anything he says, then you'll start to feel annoyed by him or at least uncomfortable. The funny kid in class could be making like 20 jokes per minute and you wouldn't notice because it brings good energy but when you put him in that environment, 5 jokes would feel 5 too many.
I can relate so much to Chibi. Being a socially awkward person, there have been situations where I thought I was killing it when interacting with people only to very suddenly realize I was actually being really annoying.
It's even worse when you are aware you are bombing it but you keep trying to course correct but it's only making it worse.

Two small details that absolve Caveman of all cringe and make him a patient saint are that this happened extremely early in the morning and that Caveman directly pointed at two of the people he wanted to sit next to him on the couch and Chibi pushed one of them aside and took their place so he could hog the mic. I have no clue how Caveman tolerated some guy he didn't know barging into his personal space at the asscrack of dawn while yapping his ear off and interrupting him while he tried doing a charity performance. God-tier patience on that man.

anonymous Games done quick is a popular 24 hour event that is lot more packed in the morning. I have watched their streams for the last 5 years and in the middle of the night there is barely anyone at the stream or the place.

I think there was too much that made his "be quiet" more painful, the fact that he kept it in until then, the head tilted towards him, and the wording he chose. I always laugh at how Chibi spreads his legs and takes up 40% of the couch while everyone else is cramped and Caveman has to pull his arms in uncomfortably to play. Caveman deserves some credit for not being meaner to him honestly.
I agree. The fact there are people who try to act like Caveman was a big jerk or whatever is just baffling to me. They probably see so much of themselves in chibi that they feel the need to defend him despite him obviously being the full-force awkward-bringer here. Caveman was generally calmer and more patient than most people would have been.

Somehow the repetative music enhances the effect of him slowly becoming more annoyed till he everntually just blurts it out.
