That roll on Starfire is actually pretty good. Definitely pick that up. I would, but I have a 69 Xur roll from about a year ago that has 26 Res and 25 Dis.
Xur once dropped a 71 starfire with good rolls, nothing better ever drops but Rahool now gives me 69 Starfire's so much I'm sick of the sight of them
Apotheosis veil Just go to your collection and use this for boss damage.
69 is nice on paper but low Resil and high Recovery is kind of cheeks on Starfire specifically

I maintain that brigands law with feeding frenzy/voltshot effing rules for red bar ad clear, REALLY good on something like gambit where you just want to go as fast as possible. So...not a great roll on it's own, but might be worth burning harmonizers on
Yeah, it'd be handy if they mentioned if it's harmonizable and/or worth harmonizing on loot from xur or banshee

I mean the frosties have the kinda spread I’m looking for in a Hunter Build…
This would be (with a mobility mod and masterwork) 24 mobility, 18 resilience and 20 discipline (and 12 strength, but the very existence of the melee recharge dodge makes strength mostly a dump stat for Hunters). Decent enough for my grapple Hunter, especially with the ability recharge boost.
It’s part of my stasis build cause the recharge bonus multiplies with the rapid recharge from shattering crystals so you can effectively chain glacier grenades
I have a better pair with 25 mobility and 25 discipline base though lol. Lucky find
I'm just glad Brigand's Law is back, I've been waiting forever just to get it to use deepsight harmonizers on it
Same! Season 18 gear is only craftable now if you have Harmonizers.
Saaame. Brigands is too much fun. Dropped 4 harmonizers and a memento on it as quick as I could.

I wore that gear until Season of the Seraph basically. It had really good stats for the time and then I ended up getting Artifice armor to replace everything. I still keep the set in my vault for sentimental reasons.

Bonus: the Jiangshi Omolon auto is named after a type of Chinese vampire that can only hop to travel and it feeds on Chi.
I believe the game Darkstalkers has a character that is a Jiangshi.

Brigand's Law is the single best thing Xur packs with respect to what you should be spending Deepsight Harmonizers on. If you still have any, anyway.
Can I buy this brigands law and use a Deepsight on it 5x to unlock its pattern? Or does it have to be a completely separate roll
@@crankful You would have to buy 5 separate brigand's laws and use the harmonizers on them.

@@crankful In theory, I believe so? Buy the first one and deepsight it, then buy a second and if the option is there to sink a harmonizer into it, you should be in the clear to go ahead for the rest theory would say!

Xur is like dollar store clearance rack since as long as I can remember. Instead of the fixed weapon rolls he should have an engram or strange coin focus list and have the guns be the ones you can focus for that week. It would make xur not useless. Mayhaps some low stat raid or dungeon armor in exchange for ascendant shards just for looks too
Legal action with surplus could be fun on strand lock assuming you keep your melee for stats

That brigand’s law with a punchy arc hunter with assassins cowl would be fun.
Star fire can still give a good amount of grenades when used with ember or benevolence just pop your healing rift in the well and use Melee to give radiant in dps phase and your golden
Skyburners is pretty great for Onslaught, especially Cabal. If you have the precision kills explode and the super kills explode in a well it can be pretty wild. Pair it with the ugly solar helm with the Predator ornament, or old faithful Phoenix Prot
starfire feels great in onslaught! not dps monster it used to be, but the gameplay loop of the mode fits the exotic rework much more. (great excuse to use the ornament you picked up and probably never used for it). got my first legend wave 50 using it

I’d say spring for that hunter chest piece, legendary armor that has two 20’s and a 10 helps with making triple stat builds. My magic numbers are 20 - 20 - 10 and if you can 30 - 20 - 10 is also cracked

Wish starfire could be changed a bit. I agree that its old setup was too strong, but pre solar 3.0 there was an interesting interaction with the wellock melee. The old melee gave you the empowered buff, yes the same one from empowering rift, that could trigger the effect of Starfire without standing in a rift (this is almost certainly why the fragment that gives radiant on melee hits even exists, as it was translated into solar 3.0). I wish that with star fires nerfed state that they would make it functional with radiant and empowering rift. Hell even 50% of the normal grenade regeneration from radiant as opposed to rift. Wouldn't really do much to bring back the old OP setup, as it still requires kills, but would make it far less clunky to use.

So if I wanted to craft brigands law, could I for example, buy the one that xur is selling, use deepsight on it 5x and unlock its pattern for crafting? Or do I have to get 5 completely different brigands law to use deepsight on. I’m a returning destiny player so I’m sorry if I sound stupid 😅
You would buy 5 of them off Xur then use the harmonizers on each one. That's what I'm doing to unlock the weapon pattern.

Guys, Starfire has the best single target damage grenades in the game when used with the aspect that buffs them, gives you a rift for free and you get two grenades. Why do people sleep on this exotic now? You don't even need to use empowering rift anymore. Getting a free rift off a grenade kill is really strong with all the ways solar has to get grenades back. It's really good still.
I'd pick up the Starfire if it's better than what you have (low Resil and high Recov kind of sucks for it though) just in case Bungie ever lets it off the hook a bit.
Ah but fallout, you miss the purpose of Skyburner's. Its not a pve weapon, its a weapon of psychological terror to be used in PvP. Also it sort of combos really well on solar titan for a funny build with Incendiary Grenades, Ember of Ashes (increased scorch) and the hip fire for funny crossmap ignitions. And ADS its actually a really solid 150 rpm scout.
Starfire is still good - it’s just not a DPS monster and more of a general play exotic. I really enjoy it at least

Starfire is still god tier, people just don’t know how to use it anymore. I top damage every raid with Starfire to this day. It’s great for ad clear, boss damage, champion stunning. Damn I wish people would give it some credit

I'm still salty about the Starfire nerf. I understand it needed adjustment, but what Bungie really did was completely redefine the utility of it. From boss DPS to ad-clear-ish at best, they downright disrespected Starfire. Come on, 2.5% grenade energy down from 20%? F**k off Bungie.

If you’re a real warlock you would know that the star fire protocol is still a great exotic and still viable in end game content, it’s just not the raid breaking exotic that everyone used as a crutch in everything.

Why would anyone buy armour from xur when there is artifice armour even if you’re a new player, it’s not like someone won’t carry you through the dungeon to get better gear 😂
Maybe if Bungie put assassination bounties in the game again and gave us the option to end Xur, we could get a new vendor with better stuff. Or… if they just brought back the First Curse and slapped that in there every week
