As someone with Complex PTSD I totally feel like that sometimes though I’ve never laid hands on anyone (wanted to but restrained myself). Dave Mustaine is an amazing musician and person. "Dystopia" is an awesome album. Which if you are a Megadeth fan, I'm sure you have it and know what I'm saying. After fifteen studio releases, there's no sign of slowing down, and I pray they never will. I love the live releases as well because a lot of live versions are better than the studio versions, which to me is the sign of an amazing band. Dave Mustaine and Megadeth are the greatest metal band in my opinion. If you don't have the "Rude Awakening" dvd yet, I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed. Long Live Megadeth!!!
This guy is an excellent interviewer. He let's them talk, and doesn't get in the way. He knows that we are here to listen to the artists. And due to his youthful appearance he is disarming to them, so they feel they can open up.
I love Dave and the musical work he has done . Just a genuine and honest person . Seems to be allot of Metalica fans in these posts ( a band I also like ) , just remember , the members of Metalica are far from being perfect people , and the same could be said about all of us . They have all come to terms with their past , I hope we can too .
The story about the beer in Ron's pickups was in the behind the music episode. If I remember correctly the band wasn't the one telling the story it was a guy from Metal Blade.
I was wary of organised religion from an early age too. It took me years to find out Yâhusha never sanctioned any kind of digmatic religion. He just wants us to love one another - regardless of prejudices generated in this world. Dave is a phenomenal artist.
Man it hits different to hear Mustaine talk greatly about Ellefson after he just fired him recently. It's sad that they're breaking apart from each other again after going through so much together
I think Dave would be less dis-engaged if the interviewer wasn't such a youngun. I think Dave is sorta contemptuous here, like eghh, this is a kid who doesn't know anything.
Mary Anne Fontana-Rosato Dave is a good guy and I don't think he thinks he's too young I just think Dave is tired and he's getting pretty old, rocking that hard for 30 years wears on you
Mary Anne Fontana-Rosato It didn't help that he mentioned Metallica in the beginning, either. The glare Dave gives this kid after he mentions them had me cracking up, because you can just feel his frustration. I can't really blame Dave for being the way he was. Hearing this kid ask some of these obnoxiously obvious questions was starting to annoy me, also. Word of advice kid, if Dave sits in a chair with his arms crossed and he's giving you the glare, just stop talking. Haha
Rocknrollaforever45 it’s not a straight interview, they’re going through his wiki page to see if it’s accurate or not. Everyone has seen the shitty behind the music and knows this shit
Seth J. Hammons, Musicians’ Wikipedia pages are a mess. The ones I personally know are full of misinformation. I watched this to see if a blatant lie about a “prospective” Megadeth guitarist made it to the questions, but it didn’t.
Wow man! Congratulations, you really dig it! it feels so real. The kind of conversation that we all want to be in it... with a friend. what an awsome experience! thanks a lot!
+Chimps bottom And Gruhamed could have brought way more, like the "New York incident", for example. But that kind of stuff we all already know as facts.
The greatest thing, that I see, about Dave...is how to this day he's so incredibly humble. He's had his moments where he was "Dave MoF'n Mustaine!"...but he's honest and isn't trying to prove anything anymore..just grateful/thankful. And for that I thank him 🙏🙌..oh and Social Distortion' 'Wreckage From the Past'(1995) is a sweet set! 👌
I laughed my balls off when Dave said "That's a lie" when they asked him about pouring beer down Ron's bass and blowing him across the room from the shock. Ron has always been pretty adamant about that but I believe Dave bc he's Dave.
That story on Ron McGovney and the beer on his bass was told by Ron himself on the Megadeth: Behind the Music documentary, so either Ron made it up or Dave is denying it.

Plot twist... hes disguised as an old lady to avoid people
@@Sage-qd6tf Now, people will say "hey, that old lady looks like Dave Mustaine".
@@Lola_Santoro yes
Yes Dystopia is metal at its finest almost revolutionary!! Love every track because there is so much passion and conviction in every song
Doesn't look like he's feeling good.
He does look a lot less wrinkley then he did earlier this year. A bit weird if you ask me.
+Sam Hoyek He's angry again
+The Stargazer he looks a bit odd i will say.
"Hey,I don't feel so good.."
+God of Dark Go see Dr. Feelgood then!!
YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS i've been waiting for this
James Hetfield fact or fiction
yes
YEAHYEAAAHH !!
Ain't gonna happen
AreEnTee Why not
Brandon he’s got other thing going on
He seems to be a really genuine guy, honest about himself & his past. Just real.
Dave ages amazingly.
for being 54 or 55, he's in pretty good shape
Yeah he's been through a lot so I guess he looks quite good.
Especially for someone who battled so many addictions.
yeah just look at james lol. he looks worse than dave
yeah
His hair.... I, as a man, want it
Long live D. MUSTAINE! I hope Megadeth play again here in Philippines.
More Rock'n years to come.
-from your No. 1 fan. PHILIPPINES.
Might be possible again after the new album hope a world tour
I used to live around the corner from where those dudes from Panic crashed. I used to work across the street from that electrical box 😔
The story about the beer in Ron's pickups was in the behind the music episode. If I remember correctly the band wasn't the one telling the story it was a guy from Metal Blade.
Dave's the man!! Saw them on Frisco in February and he's still got the chops too!! \m/
Damn, I missed the show.
I was wary of organised religion from an early age too.
It took me years to find out Yâhusha never sanctioned any kind of digmatic religion.
He just wants us to love one another - regardless of prejudices generated in this world.
Dave is a phenomenal artist.
Dave looking at Graham's Opeth shirt at 0:07 is killing me LMFAO
Man it hits different to hear Mustaine talk greatly about Ellefson after he just fired him recently. It's sad that they're breaking apart from each other again after going through so much together
Hi
But you know why he fired Ellefson, right?
Yeah but even the biggest musicians have conflicts and personality clashes even Lennon and McCartney didn't always get along
This aged like milk
@@joelmacdonald6994ellefson didn't do anything wrong
Next:
Devin Townsend?
M. Shadows?
James Hetfield?
+beastiearttu c Devin would be awesome!
Yes DEVIN !
Kurt Cobain next!
wut
+Erick Thor We need to have a talk bud
lol
+Erick Thor You heard the man! get the ouija board!
They should do Krist Novoselic instead since he is the only surviving original member of Nirvana.
We are praying about it Dave. We love you man.
Even when Dave is casually talking he sounds like he's singing..
Before this video, I was listening to Tornado of souls. Then I took a moment thinking that how Mustaine's voice changes when he is not singing.
Seth J. Hammons,
Musicians’ Wikipedia pages are a mess. The ones I personally know are full of misinformation.
I watched this to see if a blatant lie about a “prospective” Megadeth guitarist made it to the questions, but it didn’t.
James Hetfield next :)
YES!
+Kilian | Feed the flames Honestly? I dont know if who would be better for this kind of stuff if Lars of James
Lucas Gianoli Don't know dude, i'd like both but Dave did it so why not James ? 2 awesome singers in a row haha :)
+Kilian | Feed the flames Yes is amore reliable people to enterview
+James Hetfield If you really are James Hetfield...YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The autobiography “Mustaine” is awesome!
Wow man! Congratulations, you really dig it! it feels so real. The kind of conversation that we all want to be in it...
with a friend. what an awsome experience! thanks a lot!
I know my guy was freaking out sitting with Dave mustaine for over 3 minutes and having a full conversation
Oh, felt like he got pissed off when Gruhamed brought up Metallica
Lol yeah
he was like...😒
+Chimps bottom And Gruhamed could have brought way more, like the "New York incident", for example. But that kind of stuff we all already know as facts.
Dave seems super chill in this interview, unlike how he is normally portrayed
Satchel Wikipedia Fact or Fiction
YES!!!!
+Nick Yelovich But he will just lie lol.
omfg yes
yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
+Gwaether Bloom he will but it would be funny
The greatest thing, that I see, about Dave...is how to this day he's so incredibly humble. He's had his moments where he was "Dave MoF'n Mustaine!"...but he's honest and isn't trying to prove anything anymore..just grateful/thankful. And for that I thank him 🙏🙌..oh and Social Distortion' 'Wreckage From the Past'(1995) is a sweet set! 👌
Get well soon Dave! We're all praying for you 🙏
I laughed my balls off when Dave said "That's a lie" when they asked him about pouring beer down Ron's bass and blowing him across the room from the shock. Ron has always been pretty adamant about that but I believe Dave bc he's Dave.
Dave is awesome :)
That story on Ron McGovney and the beer on his bass was told by Ron himself on the Megadeth: Behind the Music documentary, so either Ron made it up or Dave is denying it.
Dave’s from my city, I love him cause of that
Dave seems like a cool guy
