    I take L-Carnosine, L-Citruline, Glutathione, and N-Acetyl Cysteine supliments several times a day because they help clear out the placque and colesterol from my arteries.
    My question is... can they be taken together or do one or more of these need to be taken at a different time of day from the others??

      Cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease. Chronic inflammation and calcification are. When people cut out sugar and alcohol their cholesterol levels go down ie they've stopped inflaming themselves. Besides that compared to the amount of cholesterol your body makes dietary cholesterol makes up for maybe less then 20 percent of total cholesterol. Blaming cholesterol for heart disease is like blaming firemen trying to put out a fire for starting the fire.

    • @chairwood44
      @chairwood44 7 років тому

      +zerothehero123 you're wrong, obviously too much cholesterol is bad and will lead to heart disease. Science backs this up

    • @zerothehero123
      @zerothehero123 7 років тому +9

      chairwood44 there's science that "backs up" veganism, fruitarianism, eating only starches etc. Not all science is good science. The "science" you think backs up the cholesterol fear was done by the corporations that produce statines. Big companies have a lot of money to do "science" and can pay "scientists" to make any "science" they want. But since then many different people have done numerous other studys that conclude that taking dietary cholesterol doesn't raise serum cholesterol levels as dramatic as mainstream science claims nor that it is the cause of heart disease. Now who to believe? Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, therefore I trust the world health organization as far as i can throw it! If politicians decide what is healthy then a dose of aspartame everyday would probably be healthy and all disease is because of your genes and the only remedy is their drugs backed up by their "science". I hope you wake up one day!

    Dr B, I had my appendix out 50 yrs ago aged 7. I have had IBS since then. But had a full gut analysis and discovered I had virtually NO intestinal flora! Research came out about a week after the test which found the function of the appendix was to grow gut flora! I now take probiotics and ditched the keno diet! I now include black rice which I eat as part of a huge breakfast! Part of my life long IBS was fatigue and erratic weight. I now also take an assortment of aminos first thing. Guess what! Renewed vigour, healthy weight maintenance, no brain fog, fantastic concentration, sustained energy! I eat a big breakfast with all food groups, lunch with minimal carbs and broth with veg at night. I sleep really well too! Aminos, especially branch chain for an ageing body are a must!

      Curtis Blackmore basic stuff only consume lots of protein if you are heavily active, if not count your protein intake . about 70 G max per male each day is enough unless your doing an 8hr shift with heavy work and an evening in the gym after words you should be fine..unused protein get stored in the liver and too much causes major problems..

    • @CurtisBlackmore
      @CurtisBlackmore 7 років тому +4

      Thanks Kenny,
      I appreciate the response. I've honestly never heard of too much protein being a problem. Now that I'm aware of it I'll do some research and educate myself. Thanks again.

    • @WeeSmokey
      @WeeSmokey 7 років тому +2

      Curtis Blackmore defo Bro, n hey its not a problem! listen I'm into chlorella n spirulina which is the most potent combo of proteins on the planet when combined! so I had to be very careful..
      so now I take the spirulina in the morning and chlorella at night to ease the balance on my body ;) you should look into them fella it's biblical nutrition lol supposed to be the closest thing to actual mothers breast milk lol its what gave us life to begin with..

    If the skin replaces itself every 24 days, why do my scars remain? Why does it decide to make the scar tissue again?

    • @georgekromidas5097
      @georgekromidas5097 7 років тому +4

      It doesn't make scar tissue again, it stays there.

    • @Eagle_Powers
      @Eagle_Powers 5 років тому +8

      Scars form at any injury site that takes more than three or four weeks to heal. The body produces collagen fibres in a criss-cross pattern. The normal shedding process of skin doesn’t affect scars because it only involves the migration of the epithelial cells from the base of the epithelium to the surface. The scar is a separate scaffold of collagen fibres and the epithelial cells just travel around it.

      Actually, it will eventually heal scars over time. The time it takes depends upon the depth and size of the scars. As of this post, they have most likely diminished in appearance. Hence the old saying 'time heals all wounds '.

    As always excellent content.
    Anyone- what can I combine with veggies to complete amino acids on days I don't consume any meat or eggs? I don't like Rice and Beans. I do like Avocado and nuts, evoo, veggies.
    On other days I will eat Wild Salmon and maybe even some steak. I don't have a gallbladder so I have to watch and be a little more careful *never drop weight too fast!
    On days I don't eat meat, I just find myself sometimes lacking a little energy. I am however otherwise very healthy- great weight BMI is 20- bloodwork is exceptional. I eat all superfoods so it's not a lack of quality food. My understanding is that Veggies alone lack 15 micronutrients- I think that is my issue. Some unknown deficiencies. I just want to optimize my health and ENERGY.
    I guess based on this video I should go from 1 to 2 or 3 eggs a day. 45 would be way too much! LOL. That was funny.
    Thanks!

    Did you mean 30 days for collagen. Looks like days are written on your board not years?

    Can you please clarify what you mean by genes being composed of amino acids? While there are proteins that associate with our DNA, the DNA and RNA itself is made of heterocyclic aromatic bases and sugars (ribose and deoxyribose).

    Dr Berg, 3-6 oz of "protein" or "protein based food" per meal? e.g. 5 oz of chicken breast contains only 44 grams of protein and so on...

    Why is there the need to eat protien so the body needs to break it down into amino acids for it then to be used. Why not just eat plant based foods,that contain amino acids so its easily useable

    Hemp has the most perfect protein combination not eggs. The fat and cholesterol found in eggs should be enough of a turn off on its own.
