    The flower analogy was great! I have used clarifying shampoos and massage with the pads of my fingers, but I've not considered something like this. Perhaps it's not enough. I'll look for something along these lines. I like the sugar (maybe fine brown sugar) idea, I'm concerned salt would cause micro abrasions. I favor the clay idea the most. It could still be part of the massage portion.

The crazy part is I think I did this one time before and I already had the sugar scrub bought from the store not even homemade. However I hadn't tried it in awhile. However It does work. My magic bullet for my hair is wash once a month. Was washing every week it sycked the life and natural oils out. Same schedule my beautician mom had me on during childhood. My hair was beautiful, long and no effort. Notice a big difference when I switch over. Before had to moisturize every few days now once every 7 days. Can go longer. My scalp never itches. I use rosemary and peppermint oil after I wet it in between washes.

      @@Astromalcolm My issue isn't growth or length retention. It has been consistency. My hair reacts different from everything I put on it. That initially drove me crazy. I can go from 2A to 4A depending upon the hair products. And, humidity don't get me started. It absorbs all moisture from the air and swells with the moisture. It stays soft. In warmer weather only well groomed hairstyles. You guys call them protective but since my hair needs no protecting. It's management for me. We all have different issues.

      This is what I'm looking into now , hence why I rewatched this video. I'm worried about micro damage to my strands with the sugar or salt, but already use clays, though nit fir a while. I believe the chemical aids will work at a deeper level without that worry. So fat, I'm looking at The Ordinary and Inkey products to see which one I should try out first.

    • @VEXUS920
      @VEXUS920 Рік тому

      @@christine1962ful I would suggest using the acids that are formulated for the scalp. Neutrogena has a good one called T/sal and most pharmacy stores (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, etc.) have dupes that work just as well for it. It helps immensely with dandruff and salicylic acid is an acid that is pretty easy on the skin usually. Go slow but it does cause much irritation.

    What kind of salt though? I was told salt rotten hair causes it to fall out.

      No, I would recommend the Kiehl’s salt scrub mentioned in this video if you decide to go that route, if you’re unsure then go with the sugar option. ☺️

    Can I use fenugreek tea spray and sublime sulfur oil on my scalp together? My gray hair, which is mostly around my face and edges are thinning and shedding. I have gone from 1" to hair center back. I had it straighten for my mom's funeral and i have shedding and now breakage. I started using the sublime sulfur twice a week and read about fenugreek tea spray. My hair is fine and high porosity. It seems to soak up oil and moisture. I did take your suggestion regarding, Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures and protective styling. Can you anymore suggestions regarding my gray edges?
    Thanking you in advance.
    Regina

    Do we need to use the acv then rinse it out then put the coconut oil for preepoo... what's the steps ?

    • @CurlyChemistry
      @CurlyChemistry  2 роки тому +2

      The ACV in this case is for your scalp, the prepoo is for your hair. Both can be rinsed out together. You can also prepoo first, then do an ACV scalp rinse after your shampoo.

    I'm so NOT A HAIR PERSON! I have very thick coarse natural hair and I hate it. It's so hard to manage. I'm looking for a beautician that I can grow with over the next few years but with all of my hair it will be a challenge for sure..I reside in Arkansas so if anyone knows of a hair GOD OR GODDESS to help me with my hair please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
