I can't thank you enough for this tutorial. I've been miserable for the past two days. My scalp was itching like crazy even after wash day. I just made this scrub myself and it came out exactly like yours, and it worked like a charm! An hour later and my scalp feels SO MUCH BETTER, and my hair came out even better thanks to the added shampoo. We have the same hair texture and I also didn't have an issue rinsing out the sugar. Thank you for an easy diy!
I made a coffee, brown sugar and avocado oil scalp scrub....it was really nice...but it took forever to rinse out...
I've been using an AHA fruit acid shampoo for scalp exfoliation because it's simple for me to rinse out. And it balances the PH which is a plus for me.
So a chemical exfoliant can be an alternative to those who wish it.
Also yes do the body scrub it is amazing. I just got the exact scrub u used in the thumbnail because i was being lazy but would love to see a diy

For my hair I use Yes to which comes in a green container.
