you my friend do a fantastic job on the reviews. i have the handbrake i thought about this to match and upgrade from my aiologs.. but that isnt the case, the aiologs proves itself to be the better option here.
Oh dear, that's going to be bad news for people like me that wanted some force from this shifter, especially at that price. You can clearly see how easy you were able to pull the shifter even though its not mounted. This shifters earlier promo vids are very misleading. Thanks for pointing this out. I was going to buy this shifter even at that price but not now. Thanks for the honest review and the money and disappointment you have just saved me.
Heusinkveld are missing a trick here they could so make a hapic feedback mount for this shifter so when your shifting in to gear they can actually send forces directly in to the shifter, I think that would make this shifter even better as currently I would love to buy it but others have also mention the feeling going to gears is not at all real feeling at all and im looking for a shifter that have a nice feeling going in, currently using a TH8A shifter and while its a decent h patern shifter its SQ shifter plate is pants as feels very toy like it works and gets the job done for now buty I want something that feels nice in hand when I pull on it to shift up gears.
I have not owned a SiMagic SQ myself but a friend of mine has one the Q1 and the shift feeling is great. My draw backs why I did not buy the Q1 was that it was a little bulky & shorter than what I wanted. The Q1 also very loud but if those 3 things don’t bother you much I would highly recommend the SimMagic Q1. Thank you for watching 😉
@@TheSimCircuit The only place that has any is Advanced Sim Racing in Canada, but only a handful, and I'm not sure they ship outside of North America. Either way, I should have more available for order sometime around late February.
Heusinkveld has really missed the mark with this shifter. It is honestly a bad product. Even disregarding the astronomical price. Every review has complained about the shift being both too light and not realistic feeling. You are the second reviewer to report quality control issues with the squeaking noise at max tension. The plastic handle looks and feels cheap by all accounts I’ve heard. And to top it all off it looks neither realisitic nor attractive in my opinion.
@@TheSimCircuit for €200-€300 you can get any number of shifters that are better designed and look better. My preference would be the SG racing pro shifter for €240

Yea mate prices are wild, but few companies are offering good value for money. The more manufacturers start producing sim gear the more affordable it will get 🤞🏼
Interesting for sure but yea for the price there's way better options like Simagic QS1 or Dsx8 shifters. The latter is also Switchable to H mode for less money. Oh and there's also a Q1 shifter with 4 RGB buttons for less money too!
100% agree with you, I have a friend that has the Q1 shifter and it’s great bit short & loud for me but what a great feeling when shifting 💪🏼 hopefully in future I get chance to try the QS1 & SSX8 🤞🏼

yea puff puff pass that joint 😂 they did however take my shifter back and made some improvements so now it is stiffer and feels better but even so it’s too expensive for what it is for me anyway.
i just bought a moza sgp for a fraction of the price. it also has additional buttons and doesnt look and work like garbage. but if you dont want to support chinese companies that's another story
You will be happy with the SGP, I don’t mind buying Chinese gear if the product works and build quality is good enough. This magshift shifter of mine they did take it back and did some rework on it. They said a big batch of these don’t work as they should. I will test mine that I got back recently and make an update post.
I have the Ultimate pedals but nothing else, I think the handbrake and the gear lever are just ugly, and too expensive too, but that's a personal opinion
The meca seq shifter is way too long from top to bottom anyways. None of these companies understand how to truly make sim gear that fits rigs and comfortable ways to set up there products
Honestly I love the height of the Meca SQ it is perfect for my seating position, the top of the knob would be inline with the bottom bezel of my monitor ( like middle of my steering wheel if I would remove my hand from wheel to shift I would just go right instead of right and down). The Magshift can be mounted to be a little shorter but it is also a tall shifter. One of the big positives for the Magshift is that it is easy to mount and setup much easier than the Meca was.
