Hey Jake, thanks for the lovely review of our Sprints and support 🙂 One thing I noticed, your brake stack (as shown here) is incorrect. One of the spacers is right behind the longest elastomer and it shouldn't be! Always make sure both ends of all elastomers are covered by the larger (38mm) rings. The 30mm spacers can't touch the elastomers as they can damage them. Just take it out and inserts it at the top of the stack. 👍🏻
this is the secret weapon for me. ive used this for over 2 years with a t300 and it made me ALOT faster. People overlook decent pedals and go for 20+ nm wheels, thinking the force will make them fast. I do a low 1:59 on suzuka with my terrible budget wheel and these pedals.
I’m a minority I guess because I don’t like the Sprints and I’m currently selling them. Im experiencing alot of creeks and squeaks in both the break and throttle pedals. The feeling of the pedal plate on socks is also not so pleasant- good idea with the rubber mat though. Also the exposed electronics just doesn’t feel high quality and I’ve had a couple of close calls myself where I almost damaged them
Can’t beat the simagic P1000 ….. the hydraulic return and compression is the best. Sprints are okay but not that great compared to the hydraulic feeling of dual sensor simagic. I think
I'd argue the hydraulic on the p1000 is more of a gimmick than anything. it still uses the loadcell, not pressure sensor from the hydraulics. But in general i do think the SImagic P1000 with the haptics are leagues better than the sprints. Have tried both, will be replacing my sprints with P1000 soon

how would you compare these to the p1000-rs? im comtemplating between the two for simagic alpha

Only pedal plates are from aluminium, everything else is from steel.

It's all steel, lads! There is no aluminium in the Sprints.
Unfortunately they are falling apart for me within year of purchase!

Sprints are old tech now. Many better options available on the market these days.
