The customer service is outstanding. I’ve had several issues that are through my fault and outside of warranty and they fixed them no questions asked. Even sent me a new control box for my pedals because I broke the input, again no questions asked free. If only all service was as good as this.
I've had two issues with my Heusinkveld products which were all solved in no time. And I can tell you, I will be their customer for life just because of that.
lol go ahead with there outdated ass shit they make and over charge for
I saw that Heusinkveld had tweeted about this and thought it looked good.
Unfortunately I wouldn't get the use out of one though so I won't be investing myself.
Nice things don't come cheap as you usually say Dave.
As for customer service I can honestly say that it is second to none.
Absolutely wonderful could never afford one but they make some good quality products no doubt!
Nothing beats the Jinx Shifter, in feel, quality and look!
Looks good Dave. Kind of costly, but like you said, if you’re going to use it, worth it.
I first bought a set of Sprint pedals second hand, although you wouldn't know it. I then bought the handbrake new last week, and the mounted plate had a cross threaded hole out of the box. I emailed HE and and a replacement was in the post within an hour of my email. That level of customer sevice made me buy this shifter today. It's all expensive gear, but I can't see why I would ever need to replace it, certainly not because it failed.
Once you receive it could you let me know how it performs?
It performs as expected. I have nothing to compare it to, so you may be able to achieve the same thing for less money. I'm happy with my purchase. @@SimThrills4U
They perform ok but other handbrakes are better. I’ve owned about 5 different handbrakes
Lovely bit of kit. Big money but if its something you need im sure this is as good as it gets
Heusinkveld actually sent me a new seq shifter that I bought from simulation 1 in Canada and when the product was USED by them for their demo floor models and repackaged to be sold as new. Heusinkveld took care of it and shipped a new one to me while the retailer did nothing and lied.
I will buy one of these from them just to support them
Being interested to know who this supplier is....being a Canadian. :)
One of those things where I know I want it, but it just won’t get the justified use. So need to exercise some restraint. 😅 Dave’s damn right about their customer service though. Absolutely the best of the best! 👌
Own HE gear and love it, then looked at exchange rates, and think my Aiologs will have to do for now.😊
Would look nice next to my heusinkveld handbreak v2 but already have sg-racing sq shifter.
Nice!!!
Hey Dave I have a question about your camera. Which camera are you using to record yourself while racing? Was looking to start my own channel
Got mine last week and love it!! ordered it as part of the Rally pack with the handbrake
Do you think it’s better than Somagic Sq1?
@chriskonieczny9372 It really depends what you are looking for. If you desire that mechanical click type feeling the Simmagic is the way to go. That's really the only difference other than the HE uhitnbeing a little sturdier design. The HE Mag shifter doesn't have that notchy mechanical click, which is exactly what I didn't want. The previous shifter I had, had that mechanical click to it and after a few mins it would lose the novelty and be more a noisy annoyance.
@@robcampbell6099 thank you. Atm I’m torn between HE Magshift vs Simagic sq1 vs octane designs v2
@chriskonieczny9372 There is also SG Racing Who make a very nice sequential shifter. Dan Suzuki has been using it in his latest rally streams. It's good quality and build and worth having a look at as well with the others you are comparing.
Hi Dave, 0:56 breaking news Dave mounts his shifter😲 or should it be mac evad from the back😇 Thanks for the review.
I wonder if you could program one of the buttons to blip the throttle on downshifts?
Interesting… is there delay when using the hold option to handbrake? Does it always execute the correct option, the one you want? Never shifted instead of braking or vice versa? Thanks for the video, Dave! 👌
Oooh... didnt know this existed 😮
Jake from GPLaps said it’s a ripper, seems their stuff is top class.
One day…
Hmm I’m looking for emersion and I want to feel a real “ klunk” wenn shifting, how well does it do that? Also compared to other SQ shifters?
Looks great, and probably feels great, too.
The price is hefty, but hardware from Heusinkveld probably will lastt longer than the user...
And as Dave said, their service and support, if ever neede, is the best you'll probably ever experience.
👍
I neeed a nw keyboardd...
more B-roll my friend! 🙂
Huh?
@@davecammI believe they mean more footage of it in action while you speak about the product. Great review and description!
Did you find the decal?
lol love how you said shifter and box box in one 😂 2 buttons doesn’t make something a button box
hi dave, what do you think about ultrawides for sim racing ? especially the latest 57 inch samsung, do you maybe plan to review it ?
If they sent me one I'd love to take a look. I never ask so it's unlikely. I think they're a great option though 👍
👍
€450 😬 i was expecting half that 😅
Check out the one from SG Racing .. this seems inspired by that one and it’s price point is sane.
For that much money they need to move on from the laser cut, bent sheet steel and spacers to construct everything. They should have the volume to move onto aluminium castings and machine finishing. I'm sure many people love the look but the industry is maturing and products will need to look more manufactured and less like they were knocked up by a single guy with some nice tools in his shed.
Very interesting take. I don't know anything about anything but will keep this in mind.
I'm undecided whether to sell my simagic q1 to get this. Do what do you say? Have you tried simagic? Can you compare with the heusinkveld? Thank you
No I've never tried the Simagic so couldn't compare.
@@davecammOk no problem, thank you 😊
they have annoyed me a lot because about 3 or 4 years ago they announced they were working on a H-shifter, and what have we gotten since? Another sequential shifter. Also the old shifter is mint this isn't much of an upgrade for the price
Its great that they finally updated their seq shifter, but damn this is just too much money.
maybe if they drop 100 with the holidays ;-)
Why don't they focus on building a H Pattern shifter?
A lot more goes into an H-pattern, especially when you take reliability into account. I'd imagine that they also understand that H-pattern users are a minority of sim racers, and the market is currently full of H-pattern shifters from both ends of the spectrum price-wise and quality-wise. Having said that, the market is also fairly saturated with sequential shifters as well, so who knows for sure?
Too much money dear Dave, i love HE , I have pedals, old seq and old hand brake but this is very expansive.
Completely agree. This is a money grab because you can get just as good for less
the simagic one is better@@Simlife101
Not worth it as there are better options for cheaper.
lol HE is a joke. Still make items that look outdated! Worth like $200 and those 3 buttons look cheap and cost 1 cents each 🤣🤣 and that stupid hold option to bind another thing probably won’t work in every game
Ridiculous. I love HE but this is over price. I've got the Simagic shifter QR1 and wow what a shifter and I paid the same.
I loved my HE pros my HE handbrake but this is overpriced imo. The simagic has 3 working buttons and their backlit
too expenisive
