K tel records what a treat getting an album back in those days. I think it was so much fun. I think it was a time when you had a different appreciation for things.
Exactly! Back then, there was still a lot of mystery and excitement surrounding music. It wasn't as readily available as nowadays and actually getting to see the performers was a rare treat.
David Ingram once visited our production studio with his engineer He was a class act and one of of the most interesting people i ever met... yes Susan is among the greatest voices in pop music Thank you for this classic post.
Still a very beautiful women with a very beautiful voice. I am 52 so i remember all the Poppy Family hits growing up in Toronto. In 1969 when "Billy" came out, i wore out my 45 of that great tune. Still love all the music Susan did with The Poppy Family and all her great solo stuff. Have the greatest hits cd. No doubt a Canadian music icon and a beautiful music icon at that. Best of luck to you Susan with all your pursuits in life.
It's true, vertical strips are quite slimming in effect. As one can see as an example this host. Dear Susan, you are an honorary citizen of the United States.
Here is a quote from Garry Bannerman, who wrote a piece on David after he died - " ...Applied to the life of David Ingram, the lyrics of "My Way" are a gross understatement... David Ingram was the kindest and most caring man whom I have ever met. He rarely had a bad word to say about anyone, even those who had been abusive toward him ... He was frequently slandered and libelled in public, invariably by people who did not know him. He would never retaliate or answer in kind."
Hey David Ingram ! .....way to ruin our chances of hearing what Susan Jacks is up to now ... by talking about yourself for the last 4 minutes of the interview ! Susan Jacks is an icon & I can't wait to hear her new music !
I've been in Canada. Kathy from Merrill. Was th see queen if my heart. And stand the test of time. I was a fake. How can I get out of this?. In a foster homes. From the age of 8. Everything is a a lost.
I'd give my right arm for an interview with Susan Jacks. How the heck did this guy land an interview when he has absolutely no skills as an interviewer and seems to know little about the Poppy Family.
Susan, did you grow up in New Westminster? Do you have a brother named Billy Pesklevitz (sorry about the spellin). I think I went to school with him, and I think you know my brother.
The interviewer talks too much. He should be getting Susan Jacks to talk more. I don't think too many people are interested in what he has to say, plus the fact that he's boring.
Just learned that Susan passed away yesterday, April 26,2022. RIP Susan. Thanks for the memories.
She is a lovely, classy, talented woman
She still looks pretty darn good.
Not only is she still hot' she's got a beautiful smile and charming calmness about her. Yea' I'll give her ten stars two.
Love you Susan,
Susan a good and beautilful example of graceful ageing.
Susan Jacks....My favourite singer of all time💖

Susan seems like a nice old auntie. I thought she'd be more introverted, but I guess that's Terry.

He's a bad interviewer. But what has his weight got to do with it?
Well, he was able to pave the way to bring Susan to us. We couldn’t initiate that connection.
i had some time with Susan ;
helluva nice lady ...
That guy just died. And I went to his website and still can't figure out who he is.
She was on this losers show as a gesture because both hail from Vancouver, Canada.

Did he prepare for this interview or was he comatose?

Susan was my neighbour in New Westminster, where I grew up.
Billy and his brothers were all genuinely nice people. I thought Susan was an angel.

@Wooz1ful - he was comatose on mayonnaise.
can you say "diafuckinbities"
Another reason why really fat accountants shouldn't wear stripes or conduct interviews.
She seems great, but who is that David Ingram? What a mumbling tub.
BAHAHAHAHAHA.......She must have been BEYOND desparate!
