This was lovely. I really enjoyed how you left some of the molts in because they were hidden enough it'd be annoying to the spider potentially to get it out. I love when people show care for an animal above and beyond. :D Insane to me that one that molted after 5ish years. Insects with lifespans that long freak me out a bit, in a neutral way haha. It's so cool.
I love when you feed them gummy worms. Your T’s are so beautiful, especially right after a molt, just gorgeous. I loved seeing the little jumping spider eating it’s little gummy worm too. I’ve seen some really cute jumping spiders around my house lately. Great video!
I am just blown away impressed with your knowledge of all the species. You definitely express that this is more than a hobby but a true passion. You spend so much time (and prob $$) into making sure they are happy and content which is important. I think it’s cool (not enough to ever buy one personally) but I love watching you interact and talk about your lovely pets. You may have to get a bigger place in the future to showcase all those well constructed habitats. Stay safe
Omg, those Beetlejuice plushies 🖤🖤🖤🖤 Also, this summer, my T albopilosus and A seemani slings molted 3 times! They went from eating fruit flys to wax worms and small meal worms 😁
You are the best and the greatest UA-camr ever kat I love all your amazing tarantula / jumping spider enclosures you always make them so cool and I love when you feed the spiders as well 👍💪💯💯💪👍💪💯
I haven't had a chance to watch in a while - the quality of your video has improved sooo much! The T's look great, you look great, the feedings were great, LOVE IT!
It's me again, lol. Even pieces would be awesome. I've got such a great idea. U know so much about spiders, I can spend a whole day watching and rewatching ur videos. Thanks Kat
So thankful I found your videos a few months ago. Before them I was terrified of spiders. But now I own a few different tarantulas and they are such amazing animals!!
Saw Dark Den called you out on his weighting tarantulas video about itching from kicking hairs. 😆 I was actually surprised that you were so freely touching the molts at all. Btw love the Halloween stuffies that have been in your background!
I have been a snake lover for so long and seeing that spiders can also have their own personality is the cutest thing ever, I also love to hold my animals (mice, rats, hermit crabs, birds) but I think seeing how beautiful they are in their own space is something that makes me want to get a tarantula one day! I’m also 15
I've ALWAYS been terrified of all spiders an I'm from the uk but I did live in Detroit, Michigan for almost 5 years an while there i got bitten while sleeping by a " recluse " an ended up in hospital as I got bitten on my face it was pretty bad but sinse watching your videos kat I carnt believe how stunning some of your spiders are an little by little I think I'm getting over my fear of spiders so thank you kat xx
I am so glad I am not the only one who removes the molts. My friend leaves them in the cages and it starts to look dirty and gross to me when the cages are filled with molts..
I just now saw this video and it was funny to me because I just found my Rosie's molt yesterday. I got my Chilean rose-haired tarantula from The Butterfly Pavilion in Broomfield, CO in March of 2011. She was a super tiny sling when I bought her from their gift shop for $20.
Kat, ur the best. I love ur videos as much as I love spiders! I do have a question though. Do u ever sell ur molts or know where I can get some? Thank u for ur time 😊❤
I love your videos. I just wish you would also say the common name after the scientific name which I know is the actual name but its easier to look up the common name lol
Aaaah sick! Ever consider handing out contents of the skin bin to trick or treaters? I'm kidding obviously but could you IMAGINE LMFAO. Sweet vid as usual
I have a Rose hair, as my first, and a curly for my second. My Rose was already 4years old but small and F** up legs, now she is a fast one, my Curly was a thumb nail size now its big as a chicken wing lol and fast as hell , love it they eat so well and I keep my molds also 😀 im french from Québec and I have to say J'ADORE MES TARANTULES! love you kat !
I'm scared to death of spiders. So I really don't know why I watch this. But some of them was really beautiful, I think I like the ones with a lot of hair they remind me of a little puppy dog.
So what I have learned in this video, is when I see what I think is a dead spider, may be a molt and the spider might be alive well and kicking and lurking!!. Good to know. 😳😳😳😳🙄🙄🤣🤣. Actually they are all quite lovely. I held a rose tarantula many years ago when my sister was a part of a group of people called Tigers Eye Production(they had exotic animals they put on informative shows for).
I'm really curious, why do you collect/store the molds after identifying the arachnids? Is it for preserving purposes? (I know basically nothing about arachnids, but I'm considering getting one in the future after a lot of research. Mainly the jumping kind, since I'm too chicken for a tarantula just yet ^-^; )
Thanks to you kat I’m learning so much about tarantulas so Do the defensive hairs not bother you or do the molts your handling not belong to species that throw hairs
It took me waaaay too long to notice what your dolls in the background are...tbf. Once I really looked at them I got it pretty quickly. I wasn't paying attention to them at first 😊
Easiest way to soften molts get a small spray bottle of rubbing alcohol and spray the molt a couple times and close it in a bowl let it set a min or 2 if that and it's soft enough to pose and pull apart much better then warm soapy water
I’m pretty new to tarantulas, had mine for a few months now. Is it common for them to go with out eating for months ? Mine refuses to eat for the past month and half
super normal! especially if they're in pre molt, and a lot of my bigger ladies of slower growing species fast for weeks or months even when they're not in premolt. very normal, don't worry!
A nice pleasant video. I don't have anything to comment on. Have you noticed Richard has not posted an "exotic Pet Collective" podcast in a couple weeks, maybe he needs inspiration from you? Your last podcast with him was over a year ago there must be so much to discuss.
Can the hairs that are on the molt still come off and irritate your skin. And also what is the worst thing that can happen. Is it an itchiness or something else
What is the type of tarantula for the old lady t ? Aka the one that didn’t eat for a long time then molted and started eating again ? It’s a beautiful T so was very curious
Gummy worms!! I feel like they’re like …fruit for tarantulas.
Not fruits, donuts
Pure candy
There not gummy worms
@@AvaandPeytontheeditors They’re*.
@@jacksonsarachnids yeah sorry
Deathly terrified of all spiders, but what have I done for the past few days? Binge watch your vids.

I love when people show care for an animal above and beyond. :D Insane to me that one that molted after 5ish years. Insects with lifespans that long freak me out a bit, in a neutral way haha. It's so cool.
Well, they are not insects, perhaps that's why they live that long :D
@@IfSoGirl88 hahaha oops.
Love when the spiders tilt their head or eagerly grab for the 2nd worm, so precious 😍
I love when you feed them gummy worms. Your T’s are so beautiful, especially right after a molt, just gorgeous. I loved seeing the little jumping spider eating it’s little gummy worm too. I’ve seen some really cute jumping spiders around my house lately. Great video!

" That's for sure a male, there's like nothing there..." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🫢
That long awaited molt for the A.C. Had to be awesome for you 🖤🖤🖤 another great feeding video thanks Kat 🕸✨
i Love the beetlejuice plushies in the background and all the pretty spiders :3
You are the best and the greatest UA-camr ever kat I love all your amazing tarantula / jumping spider enclosures you always make them so cool and I love when you feed the spiders as well 👍💪💯💯💪👍💪💯
That full skin bin would make a great Halloween themed decoration.
Skin Bin sounds like a really shady stripclub lol
🤣🤣
I'm so happy to see your old lady A. chalcodes molted! She looks so beautiful and healthy.
Another awesome video! Thanks❤❤❤
I haven't had a chance to watch in a while - the quality of your video has improved sooo much! The T's look great, you look great, the feedings were great, LOVE IT!
3:04 Spider backs out. What is going on out OHHH I'm eating now. OK.. The spider looked somewhat surprised. LOL
Always so exciting to see a freshly molted T. My C. Versicolor just left me a really pretty molt.
It's me again, lol. Even pieces would be awesome. I've got such a great idea. U know so much about spiders, I can spend a whole day watching and rewatching ur videos. Thanks Kat
Aaahh! I just received an email saying Pumpkin is shipping! I can’t wait to get my Pumpkin Plushy - and gummie worm… ha ha ha!
Just got my first jumping spider and binge watching all your vids 😁🕷 Hoping to cure my phobia, I am definitely desensitizing!
Hey, congratulations on your journey! Jumping spiders are an excellent gateway spider 😁 you should be proud of yourself!
So thankful I found your videos a few months ago. Before them I was terrified of spiders. But now I own a few different tarantulas and they are such amazing animals!!
I... had never seen moting before and that timelapse was absolutely freaky omg
I never knew how cute tarantulas are! Thank you! You are so kind and gentle.
Excellent video! Very cool to see the molts and how much different they look afterwards!
I live for videos like this from you! Thanks so much for what you do!! Love ya!
Just wanted to say I love the Barbara and Adam Maitland plushies, and of course your tarantulas 🕸️🕷️
Saw Dark Den called you out on his weighting tarantulas video about itching from kicking hairs. 😆 I was actually surprised that you were so freely touching the molts at all. Btw love the Halloween stuffies that have been in your background!
Petko always starting starting the drama 😛
"I would say it's male.... there's nothing there" 😂😂😂😂
Omg the ‘skin bin’ made me think of Goldmembers skin flake tin from Austin Powers lmao 🤣
Wonder feeding video Kat!!! Gummy worms are fun to feed T's lol. Tyfs God bless you
This was so interesting! I love when you show the molts and wether or not it’s male or female!
I have been a snake lover for so long and seeing that spiders can also have their own personality is the cutest thing ever, I also love to hold my animals (mice, rats, hermit crabs, birds) but I think seeing how beautiful they are in their own space is something that makes me want to get a tarantula one day! Three of my tarantulas molted in the last week. I have two more that I think are getting ready to molt. Going to get some hornworms today!
I love your little Spirit Halloween beetlejuice dolls in the back! I almost got the same ones the other day
So hard finding G.Porteri now a days. Thank you for sharing, great video as always!
okay but sephora literally had the biggest glow up in tarantula history
I live the name skin bin :) I keep all my molts as well and call it jar o' skin.
Loving the Maitlands in the background. You need a Beetlejuice plush and a Lydia plush to go with them lol. Awesome video, btw.
I love it when they stand on their tippy-toes.
Ive got 6 post molt not hardened yet and 4 in very heavy premolt. The summer of molting!

Awsome !!!!!! Thoose tarantulas are like the healthest ever good job thank you for the vidio 😎😎😎😎😎😎
First time witnessing a molt: "why tf does it have 16 legs all of a sudden"
Omg the beetlegeuse plushies!
I kinda wish you had a before picture of Sephora to compare to the after, I can't remember what Sephora looked like before lol
I’m pretty new to tarantulas, had mine for a few months now. Is it common for them to go with out eating for months ? Mine refuses to eat for the past month and half

PSA: Jumping Spiders are the crabs of the Ewok world LARPing as spiders.
hey kat!! just wanted to say hi and have a good day :3
You should eat those molts , they would make you invincible .

im curious, after review, how itchy did your fingers get?
what do you save the skin bin for?
What are Aphonopelma steindachneri like for a first time spider keeper? Really want a chilled all black tarantula. Thanks
Can the hairs that are on the molt still come off and irritate your skin. And also what is the worst thing that can happen. Is it an itchiness or something else
Not gonna lie, the name “skin bin” makes me think of Silence of the Lambs.
Dude that is a BIG olive jar. I can't even eat the entire mini jars. You must really like olives.
I do 🫒!!!!
Dont know how you take care of all your babies.Looks like a real hard job!
Maybe i ask a stupid question , butt can you pair a goliath with a blue turantula?
Do you have a seller you recommend for gummy worms?
I do feel sorry for the gummy worms, I have to say, they are cute, but a spiders gotta eat lol
My pink toe loves to hang out on the side of the enclosure will that be a problem when it molts ? If so how can I move it
What is the type of tarantula for the old lady t ? Aka the one that didn’t eat for a long time then molted and started eating again ? It’s a beautiful T so was very curious
I couldn't stop staring at those Beetlejuice plushies 😳
What happens if you never take the molt out of their burrow? Can't it grow mold?
I really liked your video it was brilliant 👏 👌
