I’ve been using this bag for close to 5 months. I just used it as my only bag for a three day trip. It fit just fine under plane seats. I’m able to fit a 32 oz Hydroflask in the bottle pocket. Good video!
I've been using this as my work bag for several months and it works great. It holds my miscellaneous personal things in the front pocket, my work folio and ID card in the front compartment and my cable bag/lunch bag/kindle in the rear compartment. I don't commute with a laptop so I use the laptop compartment to carry current file folders. I like the fact that there's extra room in the rear compartment for a raincoat or sweatshirt to stash for going home when it's warmer and dry. The only thing I wish different is a strap pouch on the other strap because I carry the backpack over my right shoulder and use the pouch for my key fob.
Got this pack for $59 @ Sierra Trading. I love the simplicity. The all grey color is perfect for semi formal work office attire, blend perfectly with my blazer selection.
The lack of a removable hip belt and bike light mount makes this a no go for me. I'm looking for a less technical Radial but those features are essential. Fantastic review and bag for City people who use public transport
Thank you for watching and good call outs! I can definitely see how those would be nice to have for bike transit, next week’s bag might be an interesting one to check out :)
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! Hope the black is restocked soon, definitely check out the official site, Amazon, backcountry and maybe reí
Hello! Great review. I recently saw your bag on the Apogee too. Which bag do you like more the Apogee or Arcane series? I can’t find the apogee anymore since it’s discontinued. Looked like a great bag as well.
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! I think both are really solid, I do prefer the more minimal look of the arcane series but I thought the apogee was a little more comfortable
Thank you for watching! I am 5’11”, and to me the bag felt like a good size, maybe slightly bigger than what I would normally carry but not overwhelming
Thank you for watching! In the past I would have said this one, but the raven was recently updated to a new back panel to give it more breathability so it’s alot closer now. I feel like the arcane harness feels slightly more robust, but for my preferences I still lean towards the raven especially with the recent updates
Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! Although I prefer the aesthetic of the arcane, overall I would go with the apogee as I like the harness, pocket layout and laptop sleeve a bit better on that one
I don't understand why most of these higher end backpacks don't use zipper covers. If caught in the rain, wouldn't water seep through the zipper without a cover flap for it?
Hi Daniel and thanks for the review ! I'm thinking about getting this pack for everyday use and mainly for bringing lunchbox and water bottle to work. Speaking of the lunchbox it's round with a diameter of 22 cm.in your opinion does it fit in the main compartment? Thanks
Thank you for watching! Overall I liked the bag alot, it does what it needs to well and is durable, just didn’t quite excite me as some of the other bags I’ve been testing recently :)

I've been in the market for a new bag in the past few days and your review videos have been by far the most informative I've seen. Great job! 👍

Thanks for the nice review! Love the black color but it seems like black ones are all sold out everywhere though

May I ask how tall are u? Is it large for your size?

@@dannypacks Thanks for ur suggestion. Great video really helpful!
In terms of carrying this for a full day vs the Fjallraven Raven 28, which do you think is more comfortable for the back?

I feel like the arcane harness feels slightly more robust, but for my preferences I still lean towards the raven especially with the recent updates
In terms of back panel breathability do you think it's better the updated Raven 28 or the Arcane XL?
Would you prefer arcane xl over apogee?

Usually they leave the admin compartment uncovered for easy access

I just don't know what it is but I hate Osprey's logo. It's one of the reasons why I have never bought any of their bags. It just bugs me.
totally agree looks crappy
Seems like a pretty lukewarm review for a $130 bag

the main compartment discriminates left handed people ;)
