    I just subscribed to you, Google video on the gen3 40. I have the gen5 23 and it is a mild shooter. The slide is a little heavier and wider and the recoil spring is a little different. Shoots 180 and 165 and 155 like dream. Some people talk about holsters some you can loosen the tension or just get one made. I think you would really love that gun. GOOD DAM VIDEO

    Gen 3 STILL the best Gen.. most proven track record in duty holsters and most reliable with best aftermarket support...newer doesn't mean better...coming from someone who has glocks from Gen 1 to Gen 3...got rid of my 4s & 5s

    The Glock 26 and 27 sometimes fit the same holsters as the 19/23. Love my 23

    Just purchase a glock 23 gen 3, it will be my first glock, for ever I loved rugers and beretta.. for the past 4 years my edc has been the Beretta apx centurion, and I absolutely love it, but like any gun owner there is always that special day you want to add to your collection. The g23 gen 3 was that purchased, with glow dot sights.. not installed yet and sadly have only owned it for 3 days and haven't gotten to the range yet, but so far I gotta say I like the feel in my hand and the weight (at capacity) just seems right. I've search for a bad review of this firearm and surprisingly it's been difficult to find many.. I mean usually there those can be plentiful, usually because of personal preference or the tactical ability... but im pretty excited bout this one. Hopefully I can get down to the range MY next off day and it lives up to all the hype I've heard. Thanks for this video tho and maybe the g23 gen 3 will be my new edc

      @@YSN_Santana727 so as you commented, I do love it, put 500 rounds thru it no problem. And now carry it with an mft holster which is new to me, but also highly recommended, it's the bare minimum holster that pretty much just covers the trigger and I find it to be very comfortable

    For about $70 you can buy a 9mm conversion barrel and shoot 9mm out of it. (also 357 and .22 but they cost almost as mush as the gun)

      I could also just get a glock 19 slide and would be able to do the same

    It was the FBI Miami shoot out on April 11, 1986 that started it, they wanted something more potent than a 9mm but less recoil than a .45 so smith and Wesson invented the caliber in 1990, I love the history behind the .40 SW

    The 40csl is the same pressure as 9mm learn your guns and cartridges if you’re going to blast BS learn the spec’s first

    • @YSN_Santana727
      @YSN_Santana727  5 місяців тому

      In standard, non-plus-P loads, commonly available 115-grain 9mm cartridges typically produce around 1,150-1,200 fps from 4” barrels, where as .40 S&W can go up to 1449 fps, learn Your guns and cartridges before You try blasting Your bullshit

    • @YSN_Santana727
      @YSN_Santana727  5 місяців тому

      If You’re referring to them being loaded to the same pressure, Youre also wrong, and if You meant energy, The 9mm Parabellum cartridge can produce up to 480 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, depending on the load. However, most defensive loads produce between 300-400 ft/lbs, so defensive loads being up to 400 ft/lbs of energy for 9mm, 40 S&W can deliver up to 500 ft/lbs, so it does have better ballistics, it’s higher pressured, and does indeed have more stopping power, You thought You did something tho
