Ah, Soul Hackers 2 One of the most “eh it’s kinda alright” rpgs released in a long time. Although I actually like the story in this a little more than the original.
Honestly the art style and gameplay lack a lot of character and the combat is eugh... Everything looks out of a phone gacha game, and I'm just tired of the "tech neon triangles" that lazy tech based stuff uses
I'll wait for it to go on sale on steam for ~30€ before I'll buy it but it looks like a fun game. It propably won't leave much of an impression but not every game has to revolutionary or innovative to be enjoyable
SMTV may be a messy game in story and other stuff but... I at least finished the game.... I still haven't finished Soul Hackers 2 just because of how boring I found the gameplay and dungeons were to me lmao.
Honestly i felt that you kinda diminished or ignored some parts of the game. For example, Arrow is still very basic but outside of the Kaburagi stuff he also gets a lot of deserves focus at around the point you face off against Raven (albeit the game definatelly focuses more on Fiegue), and the soundtrack also has some bangers. The gameplay really kills the game though
Great review my man, I hope Atlus eases up being so aggressive DLC thing. Still I'm glad to see Tokyo Mirage Sessions getting some love, keep em comin!
I had considered it, but after hearing what went on behind the scenes, i.e someone from CJ Iwakura’s team leaving to finish the project themselves, thus causing drama for everyone else because of how much faster they finished translating it, despite just being the PSX script carried over to the PSP version, I’m on the fence of supporting something like that. Iwakura Productions received too much hate far too quickly, and it’s sad considering that these were people with their own lives doing a project that was completely free and were forced to stop.
I want to give this game a try but there is no way i'm spending 100nzd on this and sadly they haven't cracked the denuvo on it yet. If this game was 40nzd i'd buy it but otherwise nah bro
I think Soul hackers 2 trying to do some original stuff as well as break away from the classic story tropes that every other RPG kind of falls into what kind of fails it's still a good game and I might pick it up but yeah it's not probably going to happen 1 I'm poor digitally and 2 the game has more cons than Pros

Thank you very much! I certainly hope they do as well. They’re pushing the boundaries even more so than usual.
This is, by far, the best review of this game on UA-cam. Good work, man
Many thanks! I greatly appreciate it!
The English voice acting is so bad, sheesh
I mean, it’s your opinion. So yeah, no rights or wrongs.
Yo dude have you checked out the psp version of Eternal Punishment yet?
