crazy how the candy corn adds just the right amount of food coloring to give the butterfinger their signature orange color. if this works , my mind is blown.

Just made this, and it's amazing! It tastes just like a butterfinger! I think it actually tastes even better after Ferrero acquired it and changed the recipe.
I actually had tears in my eyes watching this; I had forgotten how much I love butterfinger and especially the store made ones. I am GREEN with envy that somebody got make a video of one and have the engineer explain things to us! Thank you for this video. I love it that the engineer of candy.

@@BlueBirdBaby Not personally but I have confirmed via the Food Network that this recipe is accurate enough (since the candy corn can effectively substitute for the sugar based ingredients used in the original recipe) but the rest is actually the same. Look up butterfingers on “Unwrapped” on UA-cam and you’ll see the truth of what I say. It’s how I confirmed it for myself.

I used 5 tbl spoons of syrup and 3 table spoons of smooth pb and a good hand full of frosted cornflakes and used melted Nutella and turned out GREAT!
Just multiply the ingredients if you want a bigger batch. Mine created approximately 4 inch in length 2 inch in width and 1 inch high.
