On behalf of the children at the local Children's Hospital where we just made your chocolate (and white chocolate) fudge I'd like to thank you. The kids had a blast with your simple, easy recipe and I let them top their fudge creations with various things from mini marshmallows to sprinkles and one child even wanted to put chocolate chips on top of her white chocolate fudge to have, in her words, "the best of both worlds." Again I thank you for making a quick simple but delicious recipe that one can make with children, ok to be honest they did most of the work with the older ones handling the microwave and the younger ones mixing and keeping more of it in the bowls than one might expect. I mainly supervised and for that I bless you.
Please keep up the good work so we can have more joy filled cooking experience.

This looks really great! I'm from America, and most of our fudge recipes have marshmallows, sugar, and a lot more butter. I think I'm going to try this next time--it seems much more healthy!

Looks yummy. My earliest memories of fudge are when my older sister would make fudge following the recipe on the old Hershey's cocoa can. BTW, I have NEVER tasted any store bought fudge that is anywhere near as good as homemade. They just can't seem to get it right.

when people say they mouth watered, usually it's a figure of speech...
when you start cutting it... I felt saliva flooding my mouth from under my tongue, both sides, *so fast* I had to swallow a few times. I know it might sound kinda disgusting, but I love to watch cooking shows for so many decades, and I don't remember ever having such a strong reaction before!
    uncanny... amazing... just amazing...

Ha sorry my 10 year old daughter wrote that. She doesn't think americans are lazy because she has seen the work habbits of her parents , grandparents aunts and uncles. She is also driven. She is pretty focused for a 10 year old she wants to own her own bakery one day she makes straight A's in school and she took second place in her weight/age division in the judo state games. So she truly thinks americans aren't lazy. In her world it's true

Haha. I used to work in a fudge and sweet shop. Whenever I made the fudge, the customers would always ask how it was made, and I would chirpily reply, "Which type of fudge are you referring to?" Because I used to make clotted cream, tablet, butter cream and 'cast off' - basically what you made. My favourite to make was buttercream - huge vats of double cream, and you can make literally any flavour you like. Baked bean fudge anyone?

I once made fudge on accident. I melted chocolate chips in a saucepan and after it was really thick, I added milk. It was quite good, and tasted like it came from a proper fudge shop. I guess if you want to make it a bit simpler, you could do that.
