  • Our exclusive bolt on long arm design is now available with 4-Link Rear long arms for your WJ as an upgrade to your existing lift kit. In addition to the new long arms, you'll get a new subframe and top mounting axle bracket which will be used to eliminate the need for your A-arm. This is a fully adjustable double triangulated kit that will correct your rear suspension geometry without the use of a spacer. Just like our popular front Rock-Link long arms, you'll have the ability to install this kit with NO welding, cutting or grinding at all! You'll only drill holes for the BOLT ON subframe that is brake formed from 1/4" and 3/8" steel plate.
    This upgrade will allow as much articulation as your rear shocks have for travel range! We use a high quality greaseable, pivoting flex joint on the axle side for great flexibility and factory style rubber bushings on the chassis end to absorb road "noise." The new adjustable arms do away with the inferior ball joint on top of your rear axle as well as the chassis bushings and replaces it with our fully rebuildable flex end that is not only much stronger, but also allows more articulation. Oh yes, you will need coil spring retainers for the rear now too! They are also included in the kit.

      I have the front 3 link. I’m sitting at 4.5 lift with 32’s . Feels more stable than the short arm I had , however, the ride is the same as my short arm when it comes to vibrations from bumps. I suspect it’s because my short arm has rubber bushings at all ends , while these only have rubber at the axle end.

      I have their adjustable short arms and 3" lift. Going to 4.5" when I put the long arms in. Just waiting for my sye and front yoke and full length frame stiffeners to be installed. Glad to hear the 3-link is stable at that height.

      I wish I could afford to put long arms on mine lol I’m on core 4x4 short arms at 4 inches of lift on 33s

    On your website for this product the picture shows it installed on a WJ with what looks to be a 9" Ford style rear axle. Please tell us about that.

    I am surprised you put the rubber bushings on the lower arms on the axle side. I would have thought the ball joint ends went axle side, rubber bushing frame side?

    Dumb question, why not hit the factory lower mounts with a cut-off wheel or even a plasma cutter & get it out of the way all together?

      Adjust uppers independently for side to side, and together for pinion angle.

      With a set of long arms it's easier to reach things that are up high on the shelves at the market and if you get into a fight it gives you reach on the other guy ... I hope this has given you insight on the benefits of long arms .

    So you can put the exhaust back in it’s original place because it’ll hit?

    • @IronRockOffRoad
      @IronRockOffRoad  3 роки тому

      The original exhaust cannot be used because it will contact the 4-link setup.

      Build your own. I have this kit , bought the exhaust , after 3 months I tossed the exhaust. Honestly, your better off building your own . You can fit a Borla stainless muffler between the front and back cross members from the long arm kit with room to spare. You will need to cut off and toss your 3rd cat tho , that is where the Borla muffler will now go. Make sure you get a offset exit on the muffler. That is the only way this works. The exit lines up perfect next to the side of the back cross member. From there , you can route your exhaust. Or as an alternative you can connect a 12 in long turn down exhaust tip. This tip ends up right at the back and next to the cross member. Once that is in place , you can drill 2 small holes and add an exhaust hanger to the cross member. World of a difference and man oh man that Borla sounds amazing.
