Just to highlight that the early mk1 cars do not have the ability to display the battery percentage on the display. A massive oversight they - Citroen corrected in the mk2 6 months after the launch….Its a sure may to tell the mk1 & mk2 apart if looking to buy.
A family member bought a 2021 ec4. And uses ABRP with Enode connection in the app. That way a better route planner and SoC is viable in the screen. Sure you need a premium account in ABRP but I think it's worth it anyway.
This was a useful video thank you. My god that screen is bloody awful but I test drove the car yesterday and despite the crappy software I’m really excited to take delivery of it as it felt great to drive
@@BigALBoomer Tbh the heads up display is in my view excellent and right in your line of vision, showing you the important stuff, when driving you really don’t need to look at that custom screen.

I read here in the comments you sold the E-C4. Do you have a sort of conclusion video of it after all the years you drove it? I thought I mentioned it somewhere, but again, your video’s are really thorough and informative. It really stands out. Thank you
I owned it for a year. I don't have any sort of conclusion video. The videos I made on the eC4 can be found here ua-cam.com/play/PLW0oq-rvufnuR_E90eI5SkvBIZKL6tu9N.html But there are some yet to be released.
I have this car and I can definitely confirm the earlier models do not show battery percentage. The only way to get it to show up is to connect a charging cable
You missed a lot. In personal 1 and 2 you press the right stick end and you can have %, trip1 or trip2 and they stay displayed permanently until you press it again. Also would help to show that when you have the HUD working, things like traffic camera warnings, adaptive cruise control lane and features are shown in HUD and don’t take up room on dashboard display. Good effort.😜 The Mokka is far superior. thanks for your videos. What’s the next EV going to be?
I have a noob question if i may? Do EV's show their brake lights when using re gen braking or only when using foot brake? Or does it depend on the make model? Ive driven a Tesla Model 3 on high ren gen and it was quite severe.
Yes, the brakes do come on when regening. On the Tesla, you can see when your own brake lights come on on the screen as it shows it on the car graphic. On some EVs, the regen is not strong enough for the brake lights to come on. Some (maybe most or all) Stellantis vehicles do not put on the brake lights, but then the regen is not strong on them, even in B mode.
I’ve ordered a new one taking delivery hopefully next week. It’s my first EV. Thanks for this video but I thought you and sold your eC4? Not that it matters of course

Cheers for that, I was reading people saying about percentages of their Ec4 and never figured it out until your video 👏🏻👏🏻
These types of videos are great, the other youtubers gloss over this information for the more "let me look cool" stuff

I have. I recorded this video a year ago.
Such a dreadful interface. You wonder if anyone at Citroen actually tried it😅 Luckily, the car is a good EV anyway.
