Please watch the whole video as it is more detailed.
1:45 The real problem with our sleep is abundance of artificial light and also too much light in general which inhibits melatonin. Melatonin is triggered by darkness,
3:28 Melatonin is the most powerful antioxidant which has numerous benefits and also helps you sleep,
    3:42 To improve your sleep:
    01. If you want to reset your circadian rhythm, it's important to expose your body and eyes to light in the morning when you wake up,
    02. When the sun's going down, it's ideal to expose yourself to the sunset,
    03. The second most powerful stimulus to help your circadian rhythm, is exercise,
    04. Keep your room cooler,
    05. You can take Magnesium before bed,

I work a 12hour night shift, 3days/week. I have to literally force myself to sleep during those days and the most sleep I get is 2hours. Yesterday I slept for 29mins🤔🤭 Iys very hard to balance sleeping at nights when I'm off then try to program myself to sleep during the days when I work. I feel for anyone who have no choice but to work the graveyard shifts. I do prefer that shift

I was a night nurse for 8yrs and I recommend you get some blackout curtains to make your room dark like it’s nighttime also get you a white noise machine so it can drown out any outside noise that you may hear during the day. Also, make sure it’s cold and try avoid having anything caffeine related towards the end of your shift. So my hours was 7p-7a and I would cut off any coffee by no later that 1am. I hope this helps
