This 750s beat the senna time at a track here in the states😮.....apparently its one hell of a weapon on a track. Its built for turns...not just the straights....and taller people comfortably fit....😊
It was at Laguna Seca and the track was improved, resurfaced which made lap times post 2023 quicker by about 4-5s and that's a lot. Senna lap was before 2023.
As a brand, Mclaren stays truer to F1 technology, than any other, carbon tub and lightweight on all cars. Considering how close they are in drag races to hybridised cars that is one hell of a feat. Yes, their engines are laggy, their reliability, build quality and after sales suck. Talking about a focused cabin, when will Ferrari get their interiors right, one screen? two screens? over here and over there. F8, 488, 296 458, F12 interiors are bare, with Fezza everything is on the steering wheel. Ferrari takes the biscuit is minimalising turbo lag in their car, for heritage sake, Ferrari of course deserves their honours. Mclaren for such a young car, mass manafucturers; former Ferrari chief technology officer, now Mclaren CEO, Michael Hugo Leiter came out and said Ferrari use Mclaren as a benchmark, not to mention Ferrari pictured benchmarking the Mclaren Senna. What you opt for is what you are willing to compromise? I'd say the 296 is handsome (though a bit awkward looking, a purple peak lapeled expensive suit) I want to look at the surface and admire the veneer, the 750s is sexy, Daisy Dukes/scrunch leggings/Lulu lemon, on a finely shaped women, I just want to see what is underneath that astounding exterior. With all that said, if finances allowed, I would go for the Ferrari 296. Excellent video Tomi, as always. Salute to you!!!
@@tomi-auto Hi this is such a random question lol but if possible can you please tell me the name of your tracksuit I’m quite tall and it looks really nice thank you
I remember the 720 with electric seats, the buttons down by your left leg on the seat, were almost impossible to adjust, weird setting, rather have a small Lamborghini or Ferrari, this a bit plain looking.
There’s an owner in North America (posted on Reddit) that’s been barbecued with his 750S. Poor assembly/built quality and electrical issues. Sad for such an expensive car.
Exterior design is amazing, 10/10! 6:20 - The interior is very UGLY and whack. Looks outdated. 10:10 - Those British roads are uncomfortably narrow. I think my driveway is twice as wide.
i still prefer the 720s, despite the change in performance, i still feel like the 720 has more power and all. but yet, i prefer the front spoiler skirts of the 720 and the spoiler too, it has always been, 765lt>720s>750s what do u think tomi? was ur 765lt better than this? considering overall?
Looks are personal opinion, but 750s has more power and performance than 720s. If u have come to a conclusion of that by watching video, then that 750s had throttle body issues after the issue solved even a convertible ran 10.1 so coupe most definitely break into 9s (even dragtimes channel 750s has broken into 9.8 on street) so ya 750s is faster than 720s
@@yourboyjace_ looking at a used one with hardly any miles like 3k miles 1 year old gorclike 45% off. Then the 750s becomes value because u are getting all that same car for so much less
Just watched Jayemm on Cars video about a 720S. McLaren make great cars but you gotta make sure you have third party shops on speed dial for when McLaren doesn’t want to take up responsibility.
I have driven both, my friend has a 750S Spider and I have a 296GTB…..not sure why you’re under the assumption that this is quicker? We’ve even draggy tested it and the 296 is about a tenth or two quicker 60-130 not to mention it has zero turbo lag and sounds better in my opinion. I’m a McLaren fanboy myself, but Ferrari did an amazing job on the 296. Car drives way better than it should
In my car club there are a couple 296’s. Someone brought a 750s to one of our events and the 750 pulled past the 296 at higher speeds. Yes the 296 responds faster, but the electric motor tails off at a point. Also it seems like the final drive in the 750 is a lot longer than in the 296. Even I was struggling to keep up in the sf90 once we got over 150mph
Nope. I wouldn’t get a 750 as it doesn’t suit my collection at the moment. 765 was great but was very track focused. I’m waiting for what they bring out next 🤞🏾
Mclarens are built for pure driving. They've always had shitty interiors, and subpar practicality lol Never buy one as a daily (that's if we can afford one haha)
nobody was suprised by that though, it's over 1000BHP, 4wheel drive and doesn't have the shortened gearing, the only thing the McLaren had going for it was the weight difference, the future is hybrid.
“Money does’t buy happyness” at 9:30 Tomi being extremly unhappy
Summed it up the best a 765 touring. Thats this car.
cool car that

For a stock exhaust that sounds damn good😮💨 but an aftermarket exhaust would be insane!! But yeah McLaren killed it!!
Would be crispy
Novitec 👌🏾
Exhaust looks great, it's fine

damnit, cannot unsee😂
My bad 😭
for some reason, the 720s is abit faster then the 750s. Mclaren needs to do something about it
@@h7ult it's the shorter gearing that makes the 750S slower but at the same time more engaging for to have to shift through gears

Tomi, how could you say that the 296 looks like a sport car?! 296 looks way more stunning and elegant than this. Even 720 looks better than the 750.
Crazy talk bro 🤣. The 296 looks great but “IN MY OPINION” it looks like a sports car more than a supercar
