This is really something I wish I knew where to even begin for a summon only run of elden ring but I'd spend so much time just looking up what to do and where to go I've just never gotten around to it.
You can at least easily upgrade any unique hero ash to +7 before any boss. I've never tried using regular ashes exclusively so I'm uncertain how high you could get those before a boss. With that in mind, then you'd just need to pick a hero ash for your early/mid game and it would end up being a pretty standard run.
No, Shabriri's Woe doesn't work for Latenna. Probably the worst idea for a video I've had, but here's some fun facts: - This took 1000+ Arrows. Both phases combined is 90k HP and Latenna does 90~ per arrow. - Latenna getting agro'd once in Phase 2 during the skull summons one shots her. - Since Rykard attacks with his face, rolling into his attacks with a piece of Briar armor does damage and fully draws agro. - During his bite combo, the second and third bite, poison spit, and eruption can dead-angle shields if you're too close. - He has one of the few arenas in the game where Latenna's range doesn't cover it fully. She loses agro several times. - If you manage to get behind him, he is one of the few enemies who has more than 1 back attack to target you. - Latenna only aims for his head, making the fight THAT much longer since his head constantly moves to attack. Positioning yourself in a pincer setup with Latenna makes it easier for her arrows to hit his body due to their trajectory. - It might be impossible to block the skull summon phase standing still. The chip damage is actually that obscene. The Fingerprint shield with a fire infusion might work but the Redmane shield has 87% Fire negation and wasn't enough. - Shabriri's Woe doesn't work.
