I definitely agree! I was born in 80. 80's and 90's were great as far as music goes! A lot of people knew how to write their own songs too. And the collaborations were awesome! Notice how a lot of newer "artists" have sampled or covered 80's or older songs now and covered or stuck them into their own songs. Like there's no creativity left.
I was 12 years old when this song and show came out. My big sister (RIP) used to play this song over and over to the point where the song got annoying. I thought it sounded ridiculous to begin with. Now, I'm a grandfather and everytime I hear this song, I take it as a sign of my now late sister annoying me to let me know she's OK and that she's watching over me! Everytime I hear it I think of her and how much she loved this song the lead singer and the whole Melrose Place, 90210 universe. I consider this a timeless classic now ❤️

Song was #1 in the country for two weeks in November, 1992. Ended the 13 week run of "End of the Road" in the top spot, and then got knocked out of the top spot by "I Will Always Love You" which then broke EOTR's record (at that time) with a 14 week run at the top
I remember the time I heard this for the first time. November 92. Right around the time Clinton and Bush were running for President and it was the 1st time I could vote for President. Seems like just yesterday. Good times and good memories at 21.

Here is the lyrics, for those who like to sing along : I see her voice Inside my mind I know her face by heart Heaven and earth are moving in my soul And I don't know where to start Tell me tell me the words to define The way I feel about someone so fine. How do you talk to an angel? How do you hold her close to where you are? How do you talk to an angel? It's like tryin' to catch a falling star At night I dream and she is there And I can feel her in the air Tell me tell me the words to define The way I feel about someone so fine. How do you talk to an angel? How do you hold her close to where you are? How do you talk to an angel? It's like tryin' to catch a falling star.
There's two mistakes with the lyrics that you posted. The second line should be "In my mind." Also, the fifth line should be "I don't know where to start." Both of these lyrics are in the beginning line of the song.
I had this song dedicated to me in high school, looking back that was so beautiful and I still treasure that till this day. Never considered myself to be an angel but thank you for that ❤️
Absolutely love this song. This song constantly plays in my mind for this special girl in my life. To me she is an angel, and I hope life finds us together as more than just friends.
I remember this song from many years gone by. I loved it with my first girl friend and even though we aren't together I still enjoy I find it has such a special meaning.
Forgot how much I loved this song. It was so good seeing him on the new BH90210. Also, God bless him for becoming a firefighter. Lost my uncle on 911 and I have so much respect for anyone in that line of work.
Was huge hit when I graduated from College in '92. Boomerang/White Men Cant Jump was classic that Summer followed by the Bodyguard with Whitney. Time has just flown as I'm getting closer to retirement. Who would of thought this lead singer would now be a fireman, Wesley Snipes jailed for years for unpaid taxes, and Whitney gone for a few years now.🤯
I love this song even after so many years. Infact the whole soundtrack for The Heights was amazing one should defiantly listen to the whole album. One of the best albums ever.

I know her face by heart
Heaven and earth are moving in my soul
And I don't know where to start
Tell me tell me the words to define
The way I feel about someone so fine.
How do you talk to an angel?
How do you hold her close to where you are?
How do you talk to an angel?
It's like tryin' to catch a falling star
At night I dream and she is there
And I can feel her in the air
Tell me tell me the words to define
The way I feel about someone so fine.
How do you talk to an angel?
How do you hold her close to where you are?
How do you talk to an angel?
It's like tryin' to catch a falling star.
Hasib Mamun wow these lyrics are like poetry 😍😍
There's two mistakes with the lyrics that you posted. The second line should be "In my mind." Also, the fifth line should be "I don't know where to start." Both of these lyrics are in the beginning line of the song.
Samson Wong "I hear her voice, in my mind"

Nice song
I had this song dedicated to me in high school, looking back that was so beautiful and I still treasure that till this day. Never considered myself to be an angel but thank you for that ❤️
I dedicated this song to my high-school sweetheart. You don't dedicate this unless she truly is a angel. Congratulations 😉
Still single though jey
@@Ronnie.V.89 Lol..Nope but I can tell you are 😂
Hi ballerina, how are you?
@Ballerina. That's sweet. Sometimes u don't even know u are an angel in someone's eyes. I'm sure that made u feel special. 💕✨️💕⚘️
I'm 55 and still listening to the song
I miss you
Absolutely love this song. This song constantly plays in my mind for this special girl in my life. To me she is an angel, and I hope life finds us together as more than just friends.
Know EXACTLY what that's like. It's happening right now.
This show was around the 90210 era and Melrose place. Miss these times Salute
Hi 👋, how are you doing?
Those days, those memories, this song...they are just the perfect combination. 80's the best decade of music...❤
This song is going to be stuck in my head all day. Right where I want it. I love this song!
this song was playing on the radio when i was born, it was the number one song on billboard that day. :)
November '92 babies unite! That's the only reason I know this song. I actually like it too.
Was huge hit when I graduated from College in '92. Boomerang/White Men Cant Jump was classic that Summer followed by the Bodyguard with Whitney. Time has just flown as I'm getting closer to retirement. Who would of thought this lead singer would now be a fireman, Wesley Snipes jailed for years for unpaid taxes, and Whitney gone for a few years now.🤯
This is actually a really good song. Very underrated singer.
What a great song, the 1990’s was a great decade.
I wasn’t into this song much when I was 12 years old. Now at 43 I appreciate the musical talent of these guys.
1992, I had hair just like Jamie Walters.
2021.... Uh, yeah, not so much anymore lol
Still a great song!
Only heard this song for the first time a couple years ago. Don’t know much about it but it’s pretty damn good!
Omg bring back memories I can see myself sitting on the couch watching the show
Anyone listening in 2024?
Always

Hello 🤗, how are you doing today?
I love this song even after so many years. Infact the whole soundtrack for The Heights was amazing one should defiantly listen to the whole album. One of the best albums ever.
Loved this song and still do. I want the 90s back.
I hear her voice
In my mind
I know her face by heart
Heaven and earth are moving in my soul
I don't know where to start
Tell me tell me the words to define
The way I feel about
Someone so fine
How do you talk to an angel?
How do you hold her close to where you are?
How do you talk to an angel?
It's like tryin' to catch a falling star
At night I dream
And she is there
And I can feel her in the air
Tell me tell me the words to define
The way I feel about
Someone so fine
How do you talk to an angel?
How do you hold her close to where you are?
How do you talk to an angel?
It's like tryin' to catch a falling star
How do you talk to an angel?
How do you hold her close to where you are?
How do you talk to an angel?
It's like tryin' to catch a falling star
How do you talk to an angel?
How do you hold her close to where you are?
How do you talk to an angel?
It's like tryin' to catch a falling star

Never gets old! I want more music like this!😅
I remember watching this show when I was in junior high, and love the song too. I totally forgot about this gems until one of my bias in kpop (Doh Kyungsoo) recommended this song to his fans. He really has taste and some intellectual. Thank you Kyungsoo for the recommendation, I could go back to my teen days, and feeling nostalgic ❤❤
This type of song will never ever get old,I'm already 52 still I love listening this song
