- In today's video i'm riding and reviewing the brand new 2022 KTM 890 Adventure R again. Popping some wheelies , comparing it with the Norden 901 , going offroad , gnarly single tracks and i got lost couple of times.

Smokey, you can assign shortcuts to the up/down buttons. I have rally mode assigned to the up button. Quick and eash.

On 890 adventure you can set quick access buttons(up and down arrows) for quick access to TC settings(or any other settings)

single tracks are good, but don't forget the harbour and wheeling into the highway
I would love to see you put 17" wheels on the 890, this is also something a lot of people with these bikes are wondering about and would like to have.
My bike just got some Tourance Next 2 street tyres on the default wheels to test and its a world of difference compared to the karoo 3 (why did i even go the the Eifel with the karoo 3!?).
Personally I think this bike would also be golden if not better that default with 17" wheels for that nice street fun.

My grandpa fought in the war for me to be free. No hippy gonna tell me what to do 😂. I do have respect for silent zones or protected nature parts. But i mean some of these dirt roads are next to the highway and even those are illegal to ride 🙈

Great video's and great bikes dude 👌 ps: Vespas are for people who can cycle, but do not have a motorcycle license 🤷♂🙃 In the last century, a long time ago😄, I had a vespa 125 and a yamaha 125. The vespa drove much better and more solid 🙃
So, did you ride the bike with enduro boots? I am long and have big feet and this bike has one enormous flaw... I can not use the shifter with my tech 7 or tech 10 boots.. its to short (outwards).. Worst thing is I can use these boots on every other bike on the planet even the Honda GROM or to stay at KTM: EXC 450/510, 690 SMC-R, 1290 SAS/R but not on the 790/890 adv R ...
It seems like you have to have a born or wrong healed abnormal feet angle (inwards) or just small body parts :P.
you should take them to their natural habitat.. that's what i prefer ..ktm advs on single tracks and offroad..gs on road and candy shops.. 😅

Is the 890r for a road rider who wants to ride off road/gravel or an off road rider who wants to ride on the road? if that makes sense
The 890R is a pure offroad monster. Just look at the motorcross front fender and you know what it's made for 😎.
Great video again, a small tip, you probably already know, when you get the front end up, get to about 60mph (100kmh) and roll back the throttle slightly to keep it at a constant speed, that way the bike won't run out of puff and you can wheelie for as long as your arms can stand...
I can do endless wheelies on my 350 Husky , but always terrified on the "bigger" bikes and most of all the bikes are not mine but from KTM headquarters haha.

Your channel inspired me to buy a KTM 790 Duke that I am picking up next weekend.
The adventure bikes here in the UK are very expensive that's why I have opted for the Duke, plus it takes less time to clean a road bike lol.

Haha love it! I got tired from the roads many years ago. When you buy an adventure bike there is no limits on where you can go. The best places need to be explored and with all the traffic these days is prefer to have an option B when riding 😁

If you drive extreme off road and jump, the 890 R is what it should be! I have 790 R and tested Norden. The Norden is considerably more comfortable on the road. (wider and softer seat, more wind protection, softer suspension)
@@mizunopm think i'll get the norden after all，the 220mm apex is more than enough for me at the moment and i can always update to 890r rally‘s suspension if i need it
