How to install an Electric Shower. A step by step guide how to successfully carry out the electrical and plumbing aspect to install a Triton Enrich 8.5kw shower. This model was purchased from screwfix in the UK. Please note you will need to be competent in both electrical and plumbing installations. Must follow the safety procedures to make sure the risk is minimised.

Great video. Does the unit allow a JG Speedfit plastic connector push fit connection at the water inlet? . Just concerns me ( I am not a plumber) that olives on a compression joint normally 'dig in ' on the hard copper pipe surface to make the seal. But here you're digging into soft plastic, and if that seal does not come out leak free the first time, then you've written off your entire unit as you'll never get it to seal a 2nd time. And do they actually supply that nut and olive as part of the package?.

Hi Peter, yes the JG speedfits fits perfect. Even easier to use. Yes the olive and nut compression can only be tightened slightly and will seal fine too. It won't leak at all. Glad you found this useful. Cheers Handy Singh.

The nut and olive does not come with shower.

I have the same shower, so good video. My copper olive seems a very tight fit when i push it onto the plastic pipe. Is it normal?

Hi mate, it should be a standard 15mm olive to fit. Best to get a new olive if your one is not fitting. Cheers Handy Singh.

Yes the device will run is good condition Subject to the correct wiring installed and the actual rating of wired used and the correct breaker size for overload protection etc. Cheers Handy Singh
