I still haven't been fully convinced with fold phones, they are expensive and I always feel like I am on pins and needles with them , I don't want them to break.

The reason you can find these phones for cheap is because they broke, got sold to resellers/refurbishers then put up for sale on ebay, amazon, etc. A great way to get your hands on one to trade in for a better phone. Samsung is the only manufacturer I hear about having these problems
I had a Fold 4 n only after 14 months, it broke down. Samsung keeps on talking abt how they improved the hinge, well FIX THE FLEX RIBBON. Just abt a year the ribbon snapped, shortcurcuited the inner screen n bye2. Its out of 1 year warranty n the price to fix it is humongous. 6200 MYR went to the drain. I wont ever use a folding again. At least 10 years from now.
I think you confused the Flip 4 for the Fold when it comes to the trading value on Samsung's website. They are giving you $1000 for the Fold 4 and $600 for the Note 20 Ultra
Got a ZFlip 3. Thing has dropped numerous times face down on concrete, asphalt, and even steel pipe and no hinge issues. Great phone besides the mediocre camera and battery life.
@@randomland6209 Entirely possible. Personally, I don't really understand the appeal of the folding phones unless you're an extremely avid reader or professional artist. The form factor of the Flips/Razrs is awesome, especially for women who's pocket space is limited and people who do lots of mobile photography/videography.
I’ve had my fold 4 and have no issues with hinge and screen. I’ve dropped it plenty of times with minimal case on concrete and hard floors. So, maybe you’re the problem.
I work at Verizon, we have TONS of deals for upgrades and new lines to push this out the door. I refuse to do so because my wife has a Fold 4 and it started bubbling up at the one year mark along with an ALARMING majority of my customers that come in. I had a guy the other day come in and say he wanted to switch from iPhone to Samsung because of the Z Series and as much as I LOVE the idea of someone getting away from Apple and coming to Samsung I told him to just stick with Apple then because he will hate his decision every moment of the day and I refuse to let his first experience with a better phone brand be a negative one.
I've had a fold 4 since release and it hasn't skipped a beat, I think the dog ass trade in value is because the hinge is subject to wear. Definitely miss my s21u camera system though.
Folding phones are in a public hardware beta test. Nobody should buy one. If this tech develops further, they could be good at some point. Right now, they're anything but.

a work colleague have a fold phone and she is really NOT pleased with it. Something about the inner screen... I didn't asked for details seeing how pissed she was about the phone. But since I am still using a Note 8, that is 7 year old I am looking to upgrade, and I went to 2 different stores to test a fold 6, including a Samsung store, and to my big shock and amusement to everyone else, fold 6 took slightly worse pictures then my Note 8. First time I went and clean the fold 6 cameras. Yes everything in this video checks out. No lies detected.
I'm still using my Note10 plus looking to upgrade too. My phone turns 5 years old this month. I went to Best Buy to test the Fold 6 and the camera looked decent like what I've seen in other youtubers' reviews. I wasn't wowed. I'm still a bit wary of how durable the hinge is but many youtubers are raving about how wonderful it is. I think it's way over priced to begin with and the battery charge and size is ridiculous. For almost 2k for the 256GB model that's expensive for a poorly upgraded Fold ( in my opinion). I've never had a Fold phone but not convinced to get one even though it looks pretty. I tried a gold i dont miss it. When the apps start utilizing the screen i will consider it but for now its gimmicky. Give me a s23 ultra.
