Upgraded from the fold 4 to fold 6. I upgraded because Samsung was giving me over $1200 for it. I wasn't really too excited, after watching the unpacked. This changed 180 degrees after I recived my fold 6. My goodness, from the build, front screen, weight and the performance of this phone. The more I use it, the more excited I am to use it again. 100% recommend.

I had the Fold 5, but I never liked the aesthetics of it. The bezels were too big, the camera layout looked cheap, and it just looked like something Google makes (looked like a toy). Traded it in for the Fold 6 and happy I did. I thoroughly enjoy the look and feel of this phone. I LOVE the boxy design (reminds me of my S22 Ultra), thinner bezels, the cameras are good enough for my use case (they take solid pics), it's a small phone when I want to it to be, and a big phone when I need it to be... and I'm likely going to keep it for 2 years (if not 3), UNLESS they somehow create a Fold with an S-Pen slot. Then I'll buy that one in a heartbeat and toss my Fold 6 out the window.
I have Z fold 6, love it for all the reasons you mentioned, the fingerprint reader is nice too. Things Samsung should fix: Put a pen in the phone. Have Cameras as good or better then their last phone, S24 Ultra. a few extra mm wide would be nice, the closed screen could be wider. The crease could be less in the future, I saw a video stating Apple is obsessing over no crease, when looking straight at the screen you don't see it. I took advantage of the Samsung discounts & trade-in, I don't think it's worth full price. There are many foldable phones now, I went with Samsung for the stable software & making the foldable experience fit the format.
The cameras alone are the reason I have been avoiding upgrading from a Note 20. I really want a Z fold but the camera quality not being up to par with the rest of the flagships is really holding it back.
I have the Fold 6. It is my first foldable phone and i love it. Came from an S23 ultra. With the fold 6 i actually use multitasking and its awesome. Especially for work.
@@xxscottvv I went back when my Fold 1 would no longer run on battery. I moved to a Note 20 Ultra. While a good experience, getting a Fold 6 just felt right. I do miss having better cameras and a silo, but the Spen is still there and the cameras good enough.

Thanks for your take on the phone. The points you made were my sentiments too. The Fold6 is my first folding phone and I love it. I really like the form factor, having a narrow design make the phone more comfortable to hole and carry around, more so than the S24U, yet the cover display is still great to use and I use it the majority of the time. When a larger screen is desired, I just unfold it. I have no regrets on my purchase.
I have had the z fold 3,4,5 and 6 now,for the people thinking that you have to baby these phones, Hes absolutely correct in saying these phones are very durable. I took the case off of my z fold 5 very early on and carried it that way ever since. I have dropped that phone more times than i can even count on solid concrete,asphalt,walking across parking lots,in my driveway and many other places from atleast 4ft high or higher and have even tried to catch it on several occasions only to actually kinda toss it and every singe time i picked it up there was no cracks or even scratches anywhere on the main screen or front screen,including the back. The only place that even got knicked was the corners but not even that noticeable. I had gotten to where i have total confidence in the durability of these phones from a substantial drop (no way any iphone or even old s7 edge or or many other galaxies could handle these falls...btw i almost forgot to mention i also took the front and inner screen protectors off as well very early on and still no crakcs or scratches. I also wanna say i work in construction driving a concrete truck where it gets extremely dusty and this has been my everyday phone for over a year and just traded the 5 for the 6. So in conclusion these fold phones are actually more durable than any phone i have ever used,considering i have broken a couple s7 and s8's and notes
Spot on bro. I own the fold 6 and believe me when I say no phone can give you this kind of experience. None! It so much better than the fold 5. Build quality, the aspect ratio is just right , screen brightness, improved battery life, not to mention the new AI stuff. Once again, just can't have a better experience with any other phone. Period!
I had every iPhone from the first to the 13 pro max and switched up for the Fold5 and loved it. Just got the Fold 6 and its nearly perfect. The front screen is such an improvement and it's freaking gorgeous! The crease is significantly better as well. Can't beat the CODM experience on it either! I also bought the S9 Ultra around the same time and honestly never used it since the Fold was so good itself
Great video, my z fold 6 arrives today. I’ve been iPhone for at least 10 years. My last Samsung was the Galaxy S3 LTE. I am heavy into the Apple ecosystem, MacBook, iPad Air 13”, iPad Mini 6, iPhone 15 pro, AirPods etc etc. I’m intending this to replace my phone and the iPad mini. Im worried about the seamless integration I currently have with my devices, however, I’m looking forward to finding work arounds. Most of all, I’m looking forward to having a “new” phone and finding out what it can do. Rather than having a new iPhone which is pretty much the same as my last phone.

I am finding myself using the Fold 6 to watch content more as well. My tablet still gets some use but only in the evenings at times. Cameras are great. It's funny. When I'm together with friends, all of them wielding iPhones, I'm always the one they ask to take pics. And bruh, totally forgot about our trip to St. Augustine a couple years back. One of the pics you posted was the same spot where we took a family shot with my previous S23U and it's where I dropped it and nicked the corner. I had a z fold 4 for the 1.5 year or so and it was the first time in my life that I didn't upgrade the following year. Great phone . Every time I open it people still say, What is that, is that a fold. Pretty awesome feeling. I could never go back to a candy bar style phone.
Do it. My fold 4 was a nightmare. None of us foldable users should have to use insurance more than once a year. I've had my ZF5 since pre and only have 30 dead pixels on my main screen.
Coming from the Z Fold 5, you can tell the Z Fold 6 feels like a completely different phone. Shape,size, and weight. Even the screen looks more vivid. So happy with it.
Is it worth the upgrade ? Love my 5 but that navy man. Also love the narrow screen generally for articles. Is it worth it just for the outer screen alone ? 😊
@@thearabiangolfer I was in the same boat too but I decided to go ahead to upgrade to the 6 from the 5, got the navy and I can tell you I immediately noticed a difference in the weight, the cover display being in the sweet spot and the battery even though it's the same performs a lot better than my 5. Glad you spoke to some of the real world battery life and environment tolerance (sand and hot weather) which I think a lot of other reviewers didnt really cover. I'm just over a week into my Fold 6 ownership. I've wanted a folding phone for years to take advantage of a large screen for websites and pdfs. Its really useful for that. However I think the outer screen aspect ratio is mostly ok but at times I have to open to full screen even when I dont want to because 10% of apps and websites dont quite fit everything they need to. (eg portrait or landscape view will not show up buttons on the very right). Some of the negatives: -Camera is not as good as S22 ultra. Particularly the front facing cameras. Perhaps some software update in future could make them better. -Also, the fold is a little on the tight side to open - its not like an old flip phone where you have that enjoyable flip. I'm sure it makes the unit more robust in the long term but I know I wont miss it. -I do miss the stylus from my s22 ultra but cases can be found inexpensively enough. Fingerprint reader is far better though. At this stage, its solid and no regrets however I didnt have as many wow or satisfied moments as compared to getting my S22 a few years back. The S22 felt a bit more thought thru.
For context, the cover screen is exactly as wide as the one on the Xperia 5 V and wider than the one on my iPhone 13 mini. So, it's more than usable for typing or anything else. Especially one-hand typing, which is impossible on a Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Watching on my Z Fold 6 in 2160p60. It's like your speaking in front of me. :) I totally agree with you on the day to day experience. My purpose of upgrading is that I no longer have to bring my work laptop home. The convenience of having a phone and a laptop like device in my pocket. Plus all the bonus features and perfect built refinement samsung has made. Z Fold 6 checked all the boxes for me.

I bought the Fold 6 as a pre-order. I work at a tech-related store so it arrived the day before when it was officially released, so realistically I've had the longest time you can have with the actual release Fold 6. It's been pretty insane. I've been slowly adjusting to using all its features. One that has come in handy a lot is a translator feature that nobody talks about. If you activate the translator and then flip the phone to be 90 degrees horizontal towards you, there's a button you can hit to light up the outer screen as well and show the opposite translation there. The microphone is too sensitive for my taste, so I set it so you have to tap to speak what you want translated. I tap the button, speak a language, it translates it to the chosen language via an incredible voice and displays it as text to the other person. They can then tap the button at speak to the phone, it will listen til they're done, and tell me what they said in English with it written on my side. It has a multitude of language packs, too. It's also a lot lighter than people think. I bought an Otterbox to get by til I pick out my forever case, and Otterbox cases are thick and tough, but it's been fine. My only complaint is that Galaxy AI itself isn't as advanced as they're showing off just yet, and Bixby is its derpy self, so I installed alternate AI systems into the phone.
I've just got Zfold5 this year. I came from a S22Ultra. I'm just inlove with the folding form factor. I don't regret the change and I think this is the Best Phone I ever had
I got the z fold 6 on launch day and this phone has literally been the best phone I have ever owned! It's super light, easy to use, and like you reference mark it refuses to heat up even after hours and hours of maxed settings for gaming and swimming by my pool. Absolutely LOVE this phone and would recommend it to anyone!

I feel the same way. I’ve been using the galaxy z fold 6 since launch but today I decided to go back and use my iPhone 15 pro max it’s been 3 hours and I’m already ready to switch back to the ZF6 that phone is just amazing
Absolutely agreed upon. I have my Fold 6 since one week coming from the Fold 4 and the difference is simply incredible. Numbers can't tell the difference but holding it in your hand and using it can. And for me Samsung finally nailed it. Other Foldables are cheaper - at least some of them. But its in the end your Foldable together with the software that makes your experience. And as a package Samsung is there on top of all the others. That's of course just my personal opinion. And therefore I wish everyone fun and great moments with the phone or Foldable they favor.
Sounds really amazing how the Fold has improved over the years. Two things still prevent me from ordering this: first they use cameras that one would find in a mid range phone, only 3 times zoom for example, for this price! Then I don't like the form factor of the immer Display which is almost 1:1. This means when watching movies or videos the video is only marginal of any bigger than on a normal smartphone on landscape.
Youre review is so true for me! I took the fold 6 on 5:25 vacation in Italy. Really great usability with maps/ navication in Milaan, Torino amd lago Maggiore. Pics really good and fine. A big screen ro read articals in the news. Watch UA-cam videos and so more. The fold 3 was coming from the future but the 6 nailed it for me. Now there are some competitors in the game. I stick with this one. 7 yrs of updates, good batterylife, great pics and a coverdisplay i can work with and do my normal stuff. Yes i am a fan. Sorry.

I like my Fold 6, A LOT, especially coming from Apple for the past 6-7 years. I think the battery is the weakest point. I'm only charging to 80% when WFH, and I just get through the day of work with medium use at around 35%. I hope taking care of the battery now will benefit me down the road when I need it. What can you expect though, the displays are BRIGHT and the phone is slick! Like Mark, cases have been back ordered for the past week. Put the pen in a slick case today! Very happy!
I limit mine to 80% as well (I wish we could choose the percentage). If you keep using it for two or more years, you will notice the difference if you compare it to a device witha newer battery.
Recently traded in my s23 ultra for the z fold 6 as I have wanted a foldable phone for a while but none were ever tempting until the fold 6. Waiting on the phone to arrive and cannot wait 😊

Just got mine yesterday and it's great so far! I'm using it to door dash and it's a game changer for me to be able to unfold it and set it on my steering wheel while I'm sitting waiting for orders. It's like I have a little portable TV. Only downside for me is the slim outer screen but I'm already getting used to it so it's starting to feel totally fine and normal
I don't use a case for the fold as it's a piece of art. Dropped it on the sand and heard a crunch when I opened it and thought it was over. Then it was just fine, I was shocked. Love this phone!

A lot of people in the comments are mentioning price, but who would ever pay full price with the deals samsung gives you? I got mine for 500 with trade-in, promos, discounts, and cashback. No other premium phone offers those amounts of discounts. I doubt samsung is barely breaking even on most sales. On top of the memory upgrade and all the subscriptions they give you , like youtube premium and Microsoft 365. If you have AT&T, you can save even more money because you can stack both promotions. Trade in one phone to samsung, then buy a cheap second phone that's on the list of phones AT&T will accept. Then trade that into an AT&T corporate store. That's how i got my fold 4, and with all the bill credits, i got the phone for less than 300 dollars 😂. If i would have had a fold 3 to trade in to samsung at that time, i would have gotten the phone for free with a surplus of bill credits, too.
Sadly my Fold 4 only lasted 8 months until it became unrepairable due to a "inner screen malfunction" which made it turn off and heat up, you can see this is common and shows up in samsung memebers page. Warranty claim was a NIGHTMARE they repaired the fold 5 times, it lasted hours before turning off again. After a lawsuit and very hostile negotiation, they gave me an s23 ultra. Way too much money for SUCH an inconvenience.
I've got the Fold/Flip 6 combo, and I love them BOTH! Coming from a Fold 4 which I'm holding onto to trade for a Fold 7/slim/ultra? and a flip 5 which was cool, but the 6 is refined to perfection! Still a little to be desired with my Fold 6, **** (NO MORE old cameras, spen slot, 6.5" cover, IR blaster, better battery and I swear I'm satisfied!)**** but my 4's battery was starting to show its age and I didn't want to put it through another year of service, so here goes the 6 but I hope the 7 looks exactly like this and just includes those minor tweaks I mentioned. They'll sell 100 million easy.💯💯💯

I had the Z fold 4 and I loved the phone, but the weight was too much and babying the phone sucked! This new Fold 6 looks like a whole new phone in a way! But I need to wait like a year or 2, to see that repairability or longevity! My S24+ can still hold on a bit longer heheh
The weight of the Z Fold6 is muuuch better this time around. It actually feels like a normal phone in terms of that. Also to add on that, it's slimmer than before as well. With prior fold models, I did in fact feel that I was carrying around a fold. Not so much this time around
@@Anamae5451 I picked up a OnePlus 12R for 100$ (IDK HOW INSANE on used market) and uhhh this phone is AMAZING in battery life and performance. S24+ camera is slightly better but the phone experience is better on OnePlus! Charging is super fast too, even the speakers!!! It has an IR blaster too which is dope! I'm running LawnChair to make it more like a pixel and it works FLAWLESSLY!

I just received it and I’m in love coming from the iPhone it’s a hugeeee upgrade and I haven’t even try everything yet. I’m super excited. It’s so good to find somebody that focuses on the good things of the phone instead of ranting on why Samsung didn’t put the same cameras of the s 24 ultra 😅
I have the Tab S8 and once I bought my fold 5 I barely used it. Never even brought it with me on trips. I now have the 6 and the 1mm on the cover screen makes a world of difference. I think Samsung nailed it on the ratio.
I just got the z fold 6 and absolutely love it!! I had the z fold 4 previously held off on the 5 because i didn't see much of an upgrade, but this is definitely for me, the fold in its perfected form so far ...
I had the fold2, fold5, and now fold 6. I will never go back to a slab phone. Also, I'm sticking with Samsung. For the minute differences the other foldable phones offer, they aren't enough to make me switch. Samsung has the best all-around phone, in my opinion. Have I used other foldables? Yes, but I always end up switching back to my Samsung.

I had the Fold 3, 4 & 5. When the S24 Ultra came out, I traded my Fold 5 for it (big mistake). So I just traded the S24 Ultra for the Fold 6 in pink and I love it.

I traded in my fold 5 and got a great deal for the fold 6, used it for about a week and now it's in my tech drawer. It's solid. It's good enough to keep and use once in a while for a change of pace but...not a fan of the cameras, the charging speeds and the multitasking being a bit outdated. (open canvas on the OPO has spoiled me.) I kept wanting to go back to my OPO or my pixel fold. If you or anyone reading this has it and finds it awesome? That is fantastic and i hope you keep enjoying it but when i used it? It kept reminding me of how much samsung needs to go back to the drawing board on a LOT of what this foldable does.
I feel you. I'm the exact opposite. I've had the OnePlus for a couple of weeks and kept wanting to go back to my z fold 4. I prefered the one handed usability and comfortability of the z fold. The one plus opens camera bump made if feel awkward to hold for me and there weren't too many choices for cases. Also the fact that I had a ubreakit store made it easy for me to get it fixed when needed.the open is a dope phone but I don't understand why all the tech UA-camrs were calling it the best foldable
@@sdmoore89 I have big hands. So the cover screen works for me. The camera hump actually prevents rocking most times and OnePlus's use of hasselblad's color science is one I adore but I get why folks prefer Samsung's approach. It works for some people and if it works for you? That's what's important and I find that awesome. I like the fold 6 and all but I like what I like...plus having a few repair spots near me that can actually repair my phone (bit more expensive but it's better than sending it back to one plus and waiting possible months to get my phone back) doesn't hurt. That said? If you like the fold 6? Then that's dope.

Not a fan of Opencanvas at all. OneUI has the ability to have three apps open at once, and much better continuity between the front and inside display.

The ZFold4 Ruined the Fold for me. Sorry man but I'm a girl and I cant STAND how narrow it is!! It's impossible to type!! I see the 6 is a bit wider but still. For $2k+ why is the camera so weak?? It should match the S24! I got me the zFlip6 and it's awesome!!! and the proper width. I will vouch for the Flip over the Fold ANY DAY!! Once Samsung fixes the size like Pixel has already done, then I may reconsider the Fold...
I have 5, owned a 4 pre-order. If you have had any fold in the past year, keep it and upgrade next year. For Samsung Fold users specifically (not someone who has used only slabs daily for years), refuse to upgrade until they upgrade battery and all our other common complaints. For me, the 4 was disgusting and broken from the start, and the 5 is still okay a year later except for 30 dead pixels main screen and some damage I would've also done to any Note. This fella has never taken a fold to the beach, or drenched a hinge in alcohol once a month for years. If you never had a foldable and wanted one, the Fold 5 or 6 is a solid choice for power users, gamers, and junkies who like videos that're on social security and can do that 12 hours a day. But if you have a good Google trade in, get theirs. If you have an S23, get a ZF. If you have whatever OPPO has, get that one. No big foldable on earth will ever worth $2kUSD. Ever. Trade-in with a flagship, and trade in to what you know you love. And above all GET INSURANCE AND USE IT OFTEN. YOU'LL NEED IT.
I've been using the Fold 6 since launch. Great phone overall. My first folding phone and I must say it hasn't disappointed. It's so versatile. A tablet, a phone, heck with flex mode it's a mini laptop. A lot to like. Just hope durability isn't an issue.
Hey, Mark. I saw you mentioning how the sand got in the hinge and then it got clean as you kept using it. Jeryrigeverything tested the fold 6 and apparently sand got a lot easier inside this hinge than the 5. Do you (or does anyone know) if th6 is simply better at keeping itself "clean" expelling particles than the 6? Like, the reason it got in easier is because it can also expel easier?
Hey! I’m not too sure. I think the small brushes or bristles inside of the hinge helped sweep away the sand from out of the device the more you open and close it. That’s my best guess. 😬

Fold is always "fun" and can do some solid work. And my Fold 6 have been my main phone from day one it came out now and works really solid. And i for sure don´t take it easy on it, it´s on Mx tracks and enduro in deep woods, dropping it few times and even do use it in rain and dirt on tracks with hands full of dirt and still no problem. :)
Even with the trade-off discount, I can't justify paying $1100 - $1200 for the fold 6. Also, my s23 ultra camera I think is better over the fold 6 so it makes me think that trading it in for the fold 6 is like a downgrade or such. Trade in value for my s23 ultra is around $700 converted from our currency to dollars.
I agree! Samsung really takes good care of us customers. The preorder and trade in deals are amazing! Apple user for 10 years but really happy I switched to Samsung last year with Flip 5 and now finally Fold 6. :)
Awesome video i bought a fold 4 recently to check out foldables, so far its awesome but i miss my ultra cameras but its nice to have that large screen.
Samsung hit it out of the park with z-fold 6 I came upgraded from Z fold 5 just because of the form factor I came actually from the ultra line but I love the widescreen I'm able to use it more for my work related task I'm able to actually utilize my phone efficiently and effectively especially for work. I don't see myself going back to the candy bar style phones of the ultra. I thought I was going to miss the stylus pen but I don't. Any reviewer that says z46 is same as z-fold 5 have missed the marked and I know some famous well-renowned reviewers have said that I disagree and that's only one faux pas on their part which was not cause me to unsubscribe them but yeah that's how much of a malpractice that is for anyone to say that z fold6 is the same as z fold5. 😅
I agree, the Folding Phone idea is so good, it can POTENTIALLY have a major impact on the market, but Samsung needs to roll up its sleeves and give us a better, more affordable, desirable (wider front screen) and that's it. I don't need better cameras, decent cameras is good enough TODAY. I don't need a brighter display,1000 nits is good enough, and a price no more than $1000. A larger Samsung Fold FE, will sell so much more.
I have this and the OnePlus Open and the Open is better in almost every way. Bigger outer screen, bigger inner screen, much better cameras, much larger battery, charges almost 3 times faster, has an IR blaster, has better speakers, has better multitasking, has a smaller crease on the inner screen. And... It's $500 cheaper.
I wanted a OnePlus open, but the things that prevent me are the limited compatibility with Verizon and the fact that I've heard repair time is a nightmare when sending it for warranty repairs. I'm really hoping one day it gets easier or even cheaper to do it yourself because I do love being able to repair my own phone.
@@TheLastEquinoxJP no issues on Verizon. That's what I used it on for 9 months. Great signal everywhere. I don't have any experience dealing with warranted or insurance issues but there are horror stories all over about the same things with Samsung and Google so that doesn't worry me. I just purchased insurance when I buy foldables and take care of my stuff and hope for the best.
As a previous OnePlus Open user, I loved a lot about the phone, but the software updates were nonexistent. The camera bump was also kind of annoying as it ruined how thin it was. Those are areas where OnePlus needs to improve on the OnePlus Open 2.
Ive been a Sammy consumer since day one. Mu first fold was the 4, skipped 5, but anyhow, I traded my fold 4 in due to I got tired of opening and closing the 4. So, got the S24 ultra, big mistake, nice phone but, not a fold. Lol! Plus i had some issues i didn't like about the s24. So here I am, traded s24 ultra in for the fold 6, and I am happy as hell i did. Love the phone, never going back to a slab phone again
I bought it on July 11th, and if I bought it for pre-sale, they will tell me to give me a discount and buy it for 1350 dollars. I already come from using a three-year fold, if it ruins everything with other traditional phones. I can't go back now because the screen changes everything.
I had the Galaxy Fold 4 and, honestly, I didn't treat it with much care-wish I had. After 14 months, it wouldn't open fully anymore and sounded like a cement truck whenever I tried.Don't take this guy's advice about not babying the device. He only used it for a few weeks, not years. It's not his fault, but saying you don't need to handle it with care is just foolish. We need several generations of solid build quality before making such claims.
I've been watching the food for 3 years or so finally got the full 6 had it for 2 weeks no complaints love the battery life but I'm still working on my battery anxiety😅
It does show a bit more than the ultra but I definitely do wish it was able to utilize more of the space like you can with most games in the play store.
Content is recorded in a set format. The problem isn't the fold. It's the aspect ratio. All foldables suffer this same issue. If you're holding it in portrait, it's slightly better than better. Landscape? About the same (slimmer bezels but slightly squarer aspect ratio). Overall, I think they're very close to striking the right balance. I think it could be a *tad wider and a *tad taller and then it's perfect. The pixel looks interesting but will inevitably have something glaring wrong with it 😞@@TheLastEquinoxJP
As a long time Note and S Series Ultra user, I gave both the Fold 5 and Fold 6 a two-week trial run respectively. And both times I just couldn't justify trading in my S24 Ultra for something that just isn't quite ready for that sacrifice. Samsung needs to stop messing around and just do a fold version of the Ultra series. Game over.
@markstech so I have the fold 4, used off and on for the past two years. The installed screen protector started to peel about a year ago, simply took it off and kept rolling. My inner display still looks and works like new. Got my Fold 6, and I had barely even opened it at all, but I was watching UA-cam and noticed on the inner display that there looks like a spot the a finger nail was pressed in on it and left a mark? I keep my nails super short, they do not go past my skin and again I had barely even used the inner screen at all??? I have insurance, do I return the phone, submit a repair request even though I am certain I did not damage the screen?
I would contact samsung and explain the situation to them. If you know for sure that it wasnt you, it might have been accidentally damaged during the build
Ugh, the fold is really cool. Like really cool... I did a year with the fold 5 but the battery is crap and the novelty wears off. The reality is that I didn't open it 90% of the time. The 10% of the time that I did use the big screen, didn't make the trade offs worth it...

Upgraded from the fold 4 to fold 6. I upgraded because Samsung was giving me over $1200 for it. I wasn't really too excited, after watching the unpacked. This changed 180 degrees after I recived my fold 6. My goodness, from the build, front screen, weight and the performance of this phone. The more I use it, the more excited I am to use it again. 100% recommend.

I had the Fold 5, but I never liked the aesthetics of it. The bezels were too big, the camera layout looked cheap, and it just looked like something Google makes (looked like a toy). Traded it in for the Fold 6 and happy I did. I thoroughly enjoy the look and feel of this phone. I LOVE the boxy design (reminds me of my S22 Ultra), thinner bezels, the cameras are good enough for my use case (they take solid pics), it's a small phone when I want to it to be, and a big phone when I need it to be... and I'm likely going to keep it for 2 years (if not 3), UNLESS they somehow create a Fold with an S-Pen slot. Then I'll buy that one in a heartbeat and toss my Fold 6 out the window.
I have Z fold 6, love it for all the reasons you mentioned, the fingerprint reader is nice too.
Things Samsung should fix:
Put a pen in the phone.
Have Cameras as good or better then their last phone, S24 Ultra.
a few extra mm wide would be nice, the closed screen could be wider.
The crease could be less in the future, I saw a video stating Apple is obsessing over no crease, when looking straight at the screen you don't see it.
I took advantage of the Samsung discounts & trade-in, I don't think it's worth full price.
There are many foldable phones now, I went with Samsung for the stable software & making the foldable experience fit the format.
The cameras alone are the reason I have been avoiding upgrading from a Note 20. I really want a Z fold but the camera quality not being up to par with the rest of the flagships is really holding it back.
Bigger battery also ! Doesnt need to be that thin, add a little bit of thickness for a bigger battery
Get the Samsung pen case or a third party. I already had a pen from my traded Fold 3 but the new slim pen and case from Samsung work and look great
I have the Fold 6. It is my first foldable phone and i love it. Came from an S23 ultra. With the fold 6 i actually use multitasking and its awesome. Especially for work.

The Fold6 is my first folding phone and I love it. I really like the form factor, having a narrow design make the phone more comfortable to hole and carry around, more so than the S24U, yet the cover display is still great to use and I use it the majority of the time. When a larger screen is desired, I just unfold it. I have no regrets on my purchase.
I have had the z fold 3,4,5 and 6 now,for the people thinking that you have to baby these phones, Hes absolutely correct in saying these phones are very durable. I took the case off of my z fold 5 very early on and carried it that way ever since. I have dropped that phone more times than i can even count on solid concrete,asphalt,walking across parking lots,in my driveway and many other places from atleast 4ft high or higher and have even tried to catch it on several occasions only to actually kinda toss it and every singe time i picked it up there was no cracks or even scratches anywhere on the main screen or front screen,including the back. The only place that even got knicked was the corners but not even that noticeable. I had gotten to where i have total confidence in the durability of these phones from a substantial drop (no way any iphone or even old s7 edge or or many other galaxies could handle these falls...btw i almost forgot to mention i also took the front and inner screen protectors off as well very early on and still no crakcs or scratches. I also wanna say i work in construction driving a concrete truck where it gets extremely dusty and this has been my everyday phone for over a year and just traded the 5 for the 6. So in conclusion these fold phones are actually more durable than any phone i have ever used,considering i have broken a couple s7 and s8's and notes
Spot on bro. I own the fold 6 and believe me when I say no phone can give you this kind of experience. None! It so much better than the fold 5. Build quality, the aspect ratio is just right , screen brightness, improved battery life, not to mention the new AI stuff. Once again, just can't have a better experience with any other phone. I had every iPhone from the first to the 13 pro max and switched up for the Fold5 and loved it. Just got the Fold 6 and its nearly perfect. The front screen is such an improvement and it's freaking gorgeous! The crease is significantly better as well. Can't beat the CODM experience on it either! I also bought the S9 Ultra around the same time and honestly never used it since the Fold was so good itself

I am heavy into the Apple ecosystem, MacBook, iPad Air 13”, iPad Mini 6, iPhone 15 pro, AirPods etc etc.
I’m intending this to replace my phone and the iPad mini. Im worried about the seamless integration I currently have with my devices, however, I’m looking forward to finding work arounds. Most of all, I’m looking forward to having a “new” phone and finding out what it can do. Rather than having a new iPhone which is pretty much the same as my last phone.
I am thinking same way but worries me to lose Whatsapp messages and text messages along with pictures etc.... Is there a way around that

Glad to see it's all good now. (I took my Fold 5 to the beach and we had sand blowing sideways - very fine sand - and it was fine; I'm sure my 6 would be just fine too). I am finding myself using the Fold 6 to watch content more as well. My tablet still gets some use but only in the evenings at times. Cameras are great. It's funny. When I'm together with friends, all of them wielding iPhones, I'm always the one they ask to take pics. And bruh, totally forgot about our trip to St. Augustine a couple years back. One of the pics you posted was the same spot where we took a family shot with my previous S23U and it's where I dropped it and nicked the corner. I had forgotten about it, thank you for bringing back that painful memory. Hehe.

I had a z fold 4 for the 1.5 year or so and it was the first time in my life that I didn't upgrade the following year. Great phone . Every time I open it people still say, What is that, is that a fold. Pretty awesome feeling. I could never go back to a candy bar style phone.

Do it. My fold 4 was a nightmare. None of us foldable users should have to use insurance more than once a year. I've had my ZF5 since pre and only have 30 dead pixels on my main screen.
Coming from the Z Fold 5, you can tell the Z Fold 6 feels like a completely different phone. Shape,size, and weight. Even the screen looks more vivid. So happy with it.
Is it worth the upgrade ? Love my 5 but that navy man. Also love the narrow screen generally for articles. Is it worth it just for the outer screen alone ? 😊

@@thearabiangolfer I was in the same boat too but I decided to go ahead to upgrade to the 6 from the 5, got the navy and I can tell you I immediately noticed a difference in the weight, the cover display being in the sweet spot and the battery even though it's the same performs a lot better than my 5. The navy color is 🔥
Glad you spoke to some of the real world battery life and environment tolerance (sand and hot weather) which I think a lot of other reviewers didnt really cover. I'm just over a week into my Fold 6 ownership. I've wanted a folding phone for years to take advantage of a large screen for websites and pdfs. Its really useful for that. However I think the outer screen aspect ratio is mostly ok but at times I have to open to full screen even when I dont want to because 10% of apps and websites dont quite fit everything they need to. (eg portrait or landscape view will not show up buttons on the very right).
Some of the negatives:
-Camera is not as good as S22 ultra. Particularly the front facing cameras. Perhaps some software update in future could make them better.
-Also, the fold is a little on the tight side to open - its not like an old flip phone where you have that enjoyable flip. I'm sure it makes the unit more robust in the long term but I know I wont miss it.
-I do miss the stylus from my s22 ultra but cases can be found inexpensively enough. Fingerprint reader is far better though.
At this stage, its solid and no regrets however I didnt have as many wow or satisfied moments as compared to getting my S22 a few years back. The S22 felt a bit more thought thru.
For context, the cover screen is exactly as wide as the one on the Xperia 5 V and wider than the one on my iPhone 13 mini. So, it's more than usable for typing or anything else. Especially one-hand typing, which is impossible on a Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Watching on my Z Fold 6 in 2160p60. It's like your speaking in front of me. :) I totally agree with you on the day to day experience. My purpose of upgrading is that I no longer have to bring my work laptop home. The convenience of having a phone and a laptop like device in my pocket. Plus all the bonus features and perfect built refinement samsung has made. Z Fold 6 checked all the boxes for me.

Guess who isn't invited to the Apple event in September 😂. Jokes apart, you really captured the essense of the fold 6. I am enjoying my fold 6 as well.
I bought the Fold 6 as a pre-order. I work at a tech-related store so it arrived the day before when it was officially released, so realistically I've had the longest time you can have with the actual release Fold 6. It's been pretty insane.
I've been slowly adjusting to using all its features. One that has come in handy a lot is a translator feature that nobody talks about. If you activate the translator and then flip the phone to be 90 degrees horizontal towards you, there's a button you can hit to light up the outer screen as well and show the opposite translation there. The microphone is too sensitive for my taste, so I set it so you have to tap to speak what you want translated.
I tap the button, speak a language, it translates it to the chosen language via an incredible voice and displays it as text to the other person. They can then tap the button at speak to the phone, it will listen til they're done, and tell me what they said in English with it written on my side. It has a multitude of language packs, too.
It's also a lot lighter than people think. I bought an Otterbox to get by til I pick out my forever case, and Otterbox cases are thick and tough, but it's been fine. My only complaint is that Galaxy AI itself isn't as advanced as they're showing off just yet, and Bixby is its derpy self, so I installed alternate AI systems into the phone.
I've just got Zfold5 this year. I came from a S22Ultra. I'm just inlove with the folding form factor. I don't regret the change and I think this is the Best Phone I ever had
I got the z fold 6 on launch day and this phone has literally been the best phone I have ever owned! It's super light, easy to use, and like you reference mark it refuses to heat up even after hours and hours of maxed settings for gaming and swimming by my pool. Absolutely LOVE this phone and would recommend it to anyone!

So many UA-camrs think they are professional photographers and that they are engineers. They want the phone to be perfect. That can't be in a non-perfect world. Absolutely agreed upon. I have my Fold 6 since one week coming from the Fold 4 and the difference is simply incredible. Numbers can't tell the difference but holding it in your hand and using it can. And for me Samsung finally nailed it. Other Foldables are cheaper - at least some of them. But its in the end your Foldable together with the software that makes your experience. And as a package Samsung is there on top of all the others. That's of course just my personal opinion. And therefore I wish everyone fun and great moments with the phone or Foldable they favor.
Sounds really amazing how the Fold has improved over the years. Two things still prevent me from ordering this: first they use cameras that one would find in a mid range phone, only 3 times zoom for example, for this price!
Then I don't like the form factor of the immer Display which is almost 1:1. This means when watching movies or videos the video is only marginal of any bigger than on a normal smartphone on landscape.
Youre review is so true for me! I took the fold 6 on 5:25 vacation in Italy. Really great usability with maps/ navication in Milaan, Torino amd lago Maggiore. Pics really good and fine. A big screen ro read articals in the news. Watch UA-cam videos and so more. The fold 3 was coming from the future but the 6 nailed it for me. Now there are some competitors in the game. I stick with this one. 7 yrs of updates, good batterylife, great pics and a coverdisplay i can work with and do my normal stuff. Yes i am a fan. Sorry.

I like my Fold 6, A LOT, especially coming from Apple for the past 6-7 years. I think the battery is the weakest point. I'm only charging to 80% when WFH, and I just get through the day of work with medium use at around 35%. I hope taking care of the battery now will benefit me down the road when I need it. What can you expect though, the displays are BRIGHT and the phone is slick!

I limit mine to 80% as well (I wish we could choose the percentage).
If you keep using it for two or more years, you will notice the difference if you compare it to a device witha newer battery.

Just got mine yesterday and it's great so far! I'm using it to door dash and it's a game changer for me to be able to unfold it and set it on my steering wheel while I'm sitting waiting for orders. It's like I have a little portable TV. Only downside for me is the slim outer screen but I'm already getting used to it so it's starting to feel totally fine and normal
I don't use a case for the fold as it's a piece of art. Dropped it on the sand and heard a crunch when I opened it and thought it was over. Then it was just fine, I was shocked. Love this phone!

I got my Galaxy Z fold 6 on the 22nd.
A lot of people in the comments are mentioning price, but who would ever pay full price with the deals samsung gives you? I got mine for 500 with trade-in, promos, discounts, and cashback. No other premium phone offers those amounts of discounts. I doubt samsung is barely breaking even on most sales. On top of the memory upgrade and all the subscriptions they give you , like youtube premium and Microsoft 365.
If you have AT&T, you can save even more money because you can stack both promotions. Trade in one phone to samsung, then buy a cheap second phone that's on the list of phones AT&T will accept. Then trade that into an AT&T corporate store. That's how i got my fold 4, and with all the bill credits, i got the phone for less than 300 dollars 😂. If i would have had a fold 3 to trade in to samsung at that time, i would have gotten the phone for free with a surplus of bill credits, too.
Sadly my Fold 4 only lasted 8 months until it became unrepairable due to a "inner screen malfunction" which made it turn off and heat up, you can see this is common and shows up in samsung memebers page. Warranty claim was a NIGHTMARE they repaired the fold 5 times, it lasted hours before turning off again. After a lawsuit and very hostile negotiation, they gave me an s23 ultra. Way too much money for SUCH an inconvenience.

Coming from a Fold 4 which I'm holding onto to trade for a Fold 7/slim/ultra? and a flip 5 which was cool, but the 6 is refined to perfection!
Still a little to be desired with my Fold 6, **** (NO MORE old cameras, spen slot, 6.5" cover, IR blaster, better battery and I swear I'm satisfied!)**** but my 4's battery was starting to show its age and I didn't want to put it through another year of service, so here goes the 6 but I hope the 7 looks exactly like this and just includes those minor tweaks I mentioned.

I had the Z fold 4 and I loved the phone, but the weight was too much and babying the phone sucked! This new Fold 6 looks like a whole new phone in a way! But I need to wait like a year or 2, to see that repairability or longevity! My S24+ can still hold on a bit longer heheh
The weight of the Z Fold6 is muuuch better this time around. It actually feels like a normal phone in terms of that.
Also to add on that, it's slimmer than before as well. With prior fold models, I did in fact feel that I was carrying around a fold. Not so much this time around

@@Anamae5451 I picked up a OnePlus 12R for 100$ (IDK HOW INSANE on used market) and uhhh this phone is AMAZING in battery life and performance. S24+ camera is slightly better but the phone experience is better on OnePlus! Charging is super fast too, even the speakers!!!
It has an IR blaster too which is dope! I'm running LawnChair to make it more like a pixel and it works FLAWLESSLY!

It’s funny that you said something about the sand because that’s the exact reason why I bought the z fold 6 instead of the pixel fold because it has dust and water resistant. I just received it and I’m in love coming from the iPhone it’s a hugeeee upgrade and I haven’t even try everything yet. I’m super excited. It’s so good to find somebody that focuses on the good things of the phone instead of ranting on why Samsung didn’t put the same cameras of the s 24 ultra 😅
I have the Tab S8 and once I bought my fold 5 I barely used it. Never even brought it with me on trips. I now have the 6 and the 1mm on the cover screen makes a world of difference. I think Samsung nailed it on the ratio.
I just got the z fold 6 and absolutely love it!! I had the z fold 4 previously held off on the 5 because i didn't see much of an upgrade, but this is definitely for me, the fold in its perfected form so far ...
I had the fold2, fold5, and now fold 6. I will never go back to a slab phone. Also, I'm sticking with Samsung. For the minute differences the other foldable phones offer, they aren't enough to make me switch. Samsung has the best all-around phone, in my opinion. Have I used other foldables? Yes, but I always end up switching back to my Samsung.
I'm sorry that this is not about the Fold 6, but I'm curious. I see the Xbox Series X in the background. Did you change your mind and keep it, or did you give the original one to your nephew and get another Xbox Series X?

I had the Fold 3, 4 & 5. When the S24 Ultra came out, I traded my Fold 5 for it (big mistake). So I just traded the S24 Ultra for the Fold 6 in pink and I love it.
This is my first folding phone and I agree this is the best phone I have owned. I don't use my iPad at all anymore. So happy I switched from the pixel! Thanks this video, helps confirm my feelings of the phone!
Z Fold 6 is my first foldable, only had it for two weeks and already feel as though I wouldn't be satisfied with a standard phone ever again.
I am so happy with my Z Fold 6. I went ftom an iPhone 14 Pro Max to this and I am having such a blast.

I traded in my fold 5 and got a great deal for the fold 6, used it for about a week and now it's in my tech drawer. It's solid. It's good enough to keep and use once in a while for a change of pace but...not a fan of the cameras, the charging speeds and the multitasking being a bit outdated. (open canvas on the OPO has spoiled me.) I kept wanting to go back to my OPO or my pixel fold. If you or anyone reading this has it and finds it awesome? That is fantastic and i hope you keep enjoying it but when i used it? It kept reminding me of how much samsung needs to go back to the drawing board on a LOT of what this foldable does.
I feel you. I'm the exact opposite. I've had the OnePlus for a couple of weeks and kept wanting to go back to my z fold 4. I prefered the one handed usability and comfortability of the z fold. The one plus opens camera bump made if feel awkward to hold for me and there weren't too many choices for cases. Also the fact that I had a ubreakit store made it easy for me to get it fixed when needed.the open is a dope phone but I don't understand why all the tech UA-camrs were calling it the best foldable
@@sdmoore89 I have big hands. So the cover screen works for me. The camera hump actually prevents rocking most times and OnePlus's use of hasselblad's color science is one I adore but I get why folks prefer Samsung's approach. It works for some people and if it works for you? That's what's important and I find that awesome. I like the fold 6 and all but I like what I like...plus having a few repair spots near me that can actually repair my phone (bit more expensive but it's better than sending it back to one plus and waiting possible months to get my phone back) doesn't hurt. That said? If you like the fold 6? Then that's dope.
@@majtechtings I really didn't care for the fold 6 because of the sharp corners. I'm looking forward to seeing googles foldable. It looks the same size as the open, but without the camera bump in the middle. I been wanting to go e the open another try but waiting for the price to drop some more

OneUI has the ability to have three apps open at once, and much better continuity between the front and inside display.

The ZFold4 Ruined the Fold for me. Sorry man but I'm a girl and I cant STAND how narrow it is!! It's impossible to type!! I see the 6 is a bit wider but still. For $2k+ why is the camera so weak?? It should match the S24! I got me the zFlip6 and it's awesome!!! and the proper width. I will vouch for the Flip over the Fold ANY DAY!! Once Samsung fixes the size like Pixel has already done, then I may reconsider the Fold...
I have 5, owned a 4 pre-order. If you have had any fold in the past year, keep it and upgrade next year. For Samsung Fold users specifically (not someone who has used only slabs daily for years), refuse to upgrade until they upgrade battery and all our other common complaints. For me, the 4 was disgusting and broken from the start, and the 5 is still okay a year later except for 30 dead pixels main screen and some damage I would've also done to any Note.
This fella has never taken a fold to the beach, or drenched a hinge in alcohol once a month for years.
If you never had a foldable and wanted one, the Fold 5 or 6 is a solid choice for power users, gamers, and junkies who like videos that're on social security and can do that 12 hours a day. But if you have a good Google trade in, get theirs. If you have an S23, get a ZF. If you have whatever OPPO has, get that one.
No big foldable on earth will ever worth $2kUSD. Ever. Trade-in with a flagship, and trade in to what you know you love. And above all GET INSURANCE AND USE IT OFTEN. YOU'LL NEED IT.
I've been using the Fold 6 since launch. Great phone overall. My first folding phone and I must say it hasn't disappointed. It's so versatile. A tablet, a phone, heck with flex mode it's a mini laptop. A lot to like. Just hope durability isn't an issue.
Hey, Mark. I saw you mentioning how the sand got in the hinge and then it got clean as you kept using it. Jeryrigeverything tested the fold 6 and apparently sand got a lot easier inside this hinge than the 5. Do you (or does anyone know) if th6 is simply better at keeping itself "clean" expelling particles than the 6? Like, the reason it got in easier is because it can also expel easier?
Hey! I’m not too sure. I think the small brushes or bristles inside of the hinge helped sweep away the sand from out of the device the more you open and close it. That’s my best guess. 😬

@@bbrunoliveira sure thing! I'll be using this until the s25 ultra comes out so it'll definitely get a lot of use lol. I also decided not to use a case and instead Im paying Samsung care+ for the next 5-6 months. I'll do an update video and show the wear and tear (if any)

Fold is always "fun" and can do some solid work. And my Fold 6 have been my main phone from day one it came out now and works really solid. And i for sure don´t take it easy on it, it´s on Mx tracks and enduro in deep woods, dropping it few times and even do use it in rain and dirt on tracks with hands full of dirt and still no problem. :)
Even with the trade-off discount, I can't justify paying $1100 - $1200 for the fold 6. Also, my s23 ultra camera I think is better over the fold 6 so it makes me think that trading it in for the fold 6 is like a downgrade or such.
Trade in value for my s23 ultra is around $700 converted from our currency to dollars.
I agree! Samsung really takes good care of us customers. The preorder and trade in deals are amazing! Apple user for 10 years but really happy I switched to Samsung last year with Flip 5 and now finally Fold 6. :)
Awesome video i bought a fold 4 recently to check out foldables, so far its awesome but i miss my ultra cameras but its nice to have that large screen.
Upgraded from a Galaxy s20 Plus and I feel like it's a whole new world!
Samsung hit it out of the park with z-fold 6 I came upgraded from Z fold 5 just because of the form factor I came actually from the ultra line but I love the widescreen I'm able to use it more for my work related task I'm able to actually utilize my phone efficiently and effectively especially for work. I don't see myself going back to the candy bar style phones of the ultra. I thought I was going to miss the stylus pen but I don't. Any reviewer that says z46 is same as z-fold 5 have missed the marked and I know some famous well-renowned reviewers have said that I disagree and that's only one faux pas on their part which was not cause me to unsubscribe them but yeah that's how much of a malpractice that is for anyone to say that z fold6 is the same as z fold5. 😅
I agree, the Folding Phone idea is so good, it can POTENTIALLY have a major impact on the market, but Samsung needs to roll up its sleeves and give us a better, more affordable, desirable (wider front screen) and that's it. I don't need better cameras, decent cameras is good enough TODAY. I don't need a brighter display,1000 nits is good enough, and a price no more than $1000. A larger Samsung Fold FE, will sell so much more.
I have this and the OnePlus Open and the Open is better in almost every way. Bigger outer screen, bigger inner screen, much better cameras, much larger battery, charges almost 3 times faster, has an IR blaster, has better speakers, has better multitasking, has a smaller crease on the inner screen. And... It's $500 cheaper.

I wanted a OnePlus open, but the things that prevent me are the limited compatibility with Verizon and the fact that I've heard repair time is a nightmare when sending it for warranty repairs. I'm really hoping one day it gets easier or even cheaper to do it yourself because I do love being able to repair my own phone.
@@TheLastEquinoxJP no issues on Verizon. That's what I used it on for 9 months. Great signal everywhere. I don't have any experience dealing with warranted or insurance issues but there are horror stories all over about the same things with Samsung and Google so that doesn't worry me. I just purchased insurance when I buy foldables and take care of my stuff and hope for the best.
As a previous OnePlus Open user, I loved a lot about the phone, but the software updates were nonexistent. The camera bump was also kind of annoying as it ruined how thin it was. Those are areas where OnePlus needs to improve on the OnePlus Open 2.
No Spen, unreliable software, and Opencanvas is imho considerably worse than OneUI. Oh, and no Chinese spying.
Ive been a Sammy consumer since day one. Mu first fold was the 4, skipped 5, but anyhow, I traded my fold 4 in due to I got tired of opening and closing the 4. So, got the S24 ultra, big mistake, nice phone but, not a fold. Lol! Plus i had some issues i didn't like about the s24. So here I am, traded s24 ultra in for the fold 6, and I am happy as hell i did. Love the phone, never going back to a slab phone again

I bought it on July 11th, and if I bought it for pre-sale, they will tell me to give me a discount and buy it for 1350 dollars. I already come from using a three-year fold, if it ruins everything with other traditional phones. I can't go back now because the screen changes everything.
I had the Galaxy Fold 4 and, honestly, I didn't treat it with much care-wish I had. After 14 months, it wouldn't open fully anymore and sounded like a cement truck whenever I tried.Don't take this guy's advice about not babying the device. He only used it for a few weeks, not years. It's not his fault, but saying you don't need to handle it with care is just foolish. We need several generations of solid build quality before making such claims.

Cameras are a deal breaker. The black bars on the top/ bottom really don't show more media than an s23/s24 ultra.
It does show a bit more than the ultra but I definitely do wish it was able to utilize more of the space like you can with most games in the play store.
Content is recorded in a set format. The problem isn't the fold. It's the aspect ratio. All foldables suffer this same issue. If you're holding it in portrait, it's slightly better than better. Landscape? About the same (slimmer bezels but slightly squarer aspect ratio). Overall, I think they're very close to striking the right balance. I think it could be a *tad wider and a *tad taller and then it's perfect. The pixel looks interesting but will inevitably have something glaring wrong with it 😞@@TheLastEquinoxJP
Just purchased the navy 512 gb version. Moving from the 14 pro max and loving it so far.
I liked the displays, haptics, software etc but didnt want to downgrade battery and charging coming from vivo x fold 3 pro
Traded in my Fold 5 for the Fold 6. I can type much easier now. I just wish they would just add native Dex on it like the Galaxy Tabs.
As a long time Note and S Series Ultra user, I gave both the Fold 5 and Fold 6 a two-week trial run respectively. And both times I just couldn't justify trading in my S24 Ultra for something that just isn't quite ready for that sacrifice. Samsung needs to stop messing around and just do a fold version of the Ultra series. Game over.
@markstech so I have the fold 4, used off and on for the past two years. The installed screen protector started to peel about a year ago, simply took it off and kept rolling. My inner display still looks and works like new. Got my Fold 6, and I had barely even opened it at all, but I was watching UA-cam and noticed on the inner display that there looks like a spot the a finger nail was pressed in on it and left a mark? I keep my nails super short, they do not go past my skin and again I had barely even used the inner screen at all??? I have insurance, do I return the phone, submit a repair request even though I am certain I did not damage the screen?
I would contact samsung and explain the situation to them. If you know for sure that it wasnt you, it might have been accidentally damaged during the build
Ugh, the fold is really cool. Like really cool... I did a year with the fold 5 but the battery is crap and the novelty wears off. The reality is that I didn't open it 90% of the time. The 10% of the time that I did use the big screen, didn't make the trade offs worth it...
I like mine. They need to reduce the price point to 13-14 hundred for it to take off mainstream.
