I agree got mine last Friday and love the feel of the phone in my hand. It was a bit of a battle readjusting my fingers to edge swipe flat vs having to dig in but the phone has been amazing. The brightness of the phone is stunning coming from my S21 Ultra. Camera is amazing coming from the 21 and the responsiveness of everything is so appreciated. My only gripe is that the saturation of color has to be fixed when it comes to natural vs vivid mode. I recognize that as someone who uses a DWF monitor that the colors may be somewhat more natural but I had a pseudo cyberpunk theme that contrasted a dark black blue with a deep bright red so that was extremely noticeable when I first turned on the phone. Though I have adjusted somewhat I still want that deep red. I am surprised that Linus didn't mention that. Though the anti glare armor is amazing. I almost don't want to put a screen protector on it. One last thing about the phone, going back to the brightness. It has made it difficult going back to my S9 Ultra because it doesn't look as bright as it used to before I got the 24.

Vivid color mode basically doesn't work, the screen is not as bright as my old Note20 Ultra, the 5x camera has less detail than the S23 Ultra's 10x camera did, and there may be a large number of devices with manufacturing defects in the display. 6:48 it clearly shows Samsung was using local playback and not UA-cam. Thst in itself should have a sizeable difference in the battery life

what i think what every phone will have in the future: call translation and interpretor mode but not with selected language but rather u say: be my interpretor to language... and then it translates everything to given language... this would be very very good if u run a company with many different nationalitys and have a meeting... or have meeting with other companys and they can just set up a phone to translate everything that is said to specified language... (u can still specify and output language or select multiple output languages) so when u talk it translates to given languages... like ur a game dev with workers/studios arround the world and u can just talk your language instead of a bad english...

6:57 Samsung's own site & specs sheet says S24 Ultra charges at 45W max (9V5A), so did the Labs Team mess up saying you charged it from 0~100% charging at 65W?

they probably used a 65W charger and assumed it charged at 65W, like the average consumer would

No, they did their research, the S24 Ultra does support 65W. Only the official Samsung Charger that's for sale so far is 45W. Try not to spread misinformation.@@cd6583

Is the Samsung S24 Ultra really much better than the iphone 15 pro max? If yes, I really want to buy it but not sure if I want to cancel my apple card just to transfer. The benefits i get is the cash back from apple pay. Does google pay have something similar? Like a credit card they offer?

I dont recommend getting large iPhones, you will not benefit from the size since there are no extra features!
On the other hand, when you take the Ultra, you will enjoy the large display with split screen and s pen and many things of this large device that many small devices can’t do.

  • @cookiekid31

as a very niche user who occasionally draws with the s pen honestly the flat screen is huge it really stops the pen like dropping off the screen!

@@ShaiyanHossain idk why, apart from battery problems, you'd want to upgrade. I use an S22 U and I would've kept this phone for 3 more years if the battery didn't degrade to like 75-80% of its original health, it feels like that at least. I'm not too happy with Samsung nowadays, gonna go for a Vivo X Pro phone or a Oneplus phone if I want a less than "too expensive" flagship or I'll just go for an Oppo Find Ultra. Samsung kinda sucks now compared to them lol

I'm upgrading from an S21 + 5G, and wow, what a leap. To be honest, the S21 has served me well for the last 3 years, but the battery doesn't hold a charge as well as it used to, so I might have not even upgraded yet. But the leap they've made in only 3-4 years is pretty significant.
