I contemplated purchasing this since its release. I've owned Huawei phones with beastly batteries and huge screens. I never intended to return to Galaxy, but AT&T stopped supporting Chinese phones, so I reluctantly bought the fold 3, which I like, but am super annoyed by the narrow outer screen. I really want the new Xiaomi or the Vivo foldable, but I refuse to spend $1,800+ for those devices that may not work in the USA or have limited feature access such as no wireless charging, no stylus support, limited AOD notifications, etc. Sooooooo, I ordered fold 6 today because it is very much an upgrade from fold 3. UPDATE: I received fold 6 the next day. Some of your tips were useful. Thank you 😊
I have this Benks and I've recommended it to anyone asking. However they really need to add the option of the front part of the case. I added one from Nillkin and it matches the height of the Benks. And I couldn't have timed it better after 2 days I dropped the phone from chest height onto a rough concrete driveway where it rolled another 10 feet. I was speechless. Frozen. I mustered the courage to pick up my $2k phone. Not a scratch. Just a little bit of paint rubbed off the Kevlar. Get a front case for the Benks. And definitely get the hinge protector version. It keeps crumbs and debris from getting into the hinge and frying the screen.
Wrote down all of your tweaks and will do them all (including the home/keep your device unlocked routine) once I get my Z Fold 6, which is coming tomorrow (upgrading from a Note 20 Ultra 5G). I am SO excited!

Thanks for all of these great tips. I just got mine, and I went through them with you and picked most of them up to use. Love the routine at the end but when I did it my phone said it would keep it unlocked for 4 hours. Well that's better than it was.

I got mine half the price brand new from samsung and have no regrets for choosing this instead of the s24. Missus got the s24 for my comparisson.

There is actually no need to set up a routine for the last one. You can enable this in the Extended Lock settings

have a fold 6, with those cases how do they hold up to sticking a quad lock to the back of it? i have everything quadlock, office/car/bike, so the case i have it is great, but have heard some cases dont like the double sided tape

I switch from the s24 ultra and I am loving this phone. The only thing it lacks for me personally is a great camera but the cameras on here are pretty good. Also you guys need to stop sleeping on Bixby LOL

thought modern tech makes the battery stop charging once full? why would it keep charging once charged once?
First thing is samsung care+ so you can be covered when hinge/flex malfunction and phone dies 😢
It's not a bad idea to bring this task bar to standard android version. I need to install apps to do it more smoothly than native option.

On mine, setting the Animation to 5, made my phone less snappy and slowed down the animation. I turned it off completely.

Force those apps! It's legit lol, new to the eco and for sure a learning curve so this helped alot

reaching out to share my frustration with a Samsung Flip3 phone that I purchased and has been under warranty. Recently, the display began showing thread lines, and the issue has progressively worsened, with more lines appearing daily. Despite the phone being under warranty, my visit to the Samsung Gallery resulted in a denial of a display replacement.
It's disheartening to face such issues with a product still within its warranty period. I'm not alone in encountering this problem, as many others seem to be facing similar issues with their Samsung devices.
I'm hoping to get some solution How to solve this issues??

I had the same issue with flip 3. Went to flip 4 and have zero issue. I went thru 3 flip 3 phones all with same issue.

Bought a 1TB s24 ultra AFTER the fold 6 dropped no regrets
I wanted to get this as my first EVER fold but the display size of the front screen, compared to the S24 Ultra, feels like I'm being scammed!!! 🤪😝 Plus there is no off-screen Memo, I have to buy a separate S-Pen - THE DAMN THING IS $2K - and I can't justify the switch. 😆
I made the switch. The skinny outer screen isn't that bad, it's perfect for one hand, and I've changed how I use my phone, with the outer screen for looking at widgets and notifications, saving the tablet for everything else. The chinese knockoff s-pens work pretty well and have access to the same functions for half the price.

I couldn't even justify the switch from Note9 to S24U. I thought the first unit was broken, but the second one was the same. Screen indoor darker than Note, no sensor home button anymore, fingerscanner more unreliable than Note, no 360 panoramas anymore and really bad macro capabilities. Only UWW can do macro, rest is fake. I wonder what people smoked that hyped that device. If at least they put a10x in it but a 3x and a 5x, which are literally the same fov, is a finger in the face of consumers.
I just got my fold 6 after 3 years with the fold 3 and I think it is absolutely perfect. I love everything about the 6
@@ryguyfryguy2 The phone is surely ok but it is overpriced and if it wasnt for the update duration it would be a bad deal. I guess broken screens still are an often thing which bumps the prices. Since I didn't make it through the day with the S24U I really didn't wanna know how bad it is with the fold... It should probably come with a brick or power bank.... Oh I remember the times you could swap batteries in seconds.... But Samsung and Apple know what's best for us....
