    Great episode! Love the section on hiring for creatives/designers. The hiring process is completely broken.
    I always tell creatives they HAVE to go above and beyond for a job they really want.
    I got my first Product Design job transitioning from Graphic Design by bringing in a 12 ft sheet of paper filled with Design Thinking strategy on how the company could scale through digital. 🚀

    good point about vibing with people who you're trying to get to hire you. I was a freelance fashion stylist for years, and basically, you get hired for the most lucrative gigs (long ad shoots) based on whether you're someone people enjoy spending time with, especially if it's two weeks on an island or whatever. people hire people they like

    Can you guys link the socials of the companies you talk about so we can go back through their accounts as examples?

      Social media manager here 👋
      I’d say start with TikTok cuz it has the potential to make your go viral, but make sure what you’re putting out is optimized for top of funnel, make sure the content is relatable
      For example (I hate my 9-5 corporate job, so I decided to quit and start my clothing brand)
      People can relate hating their 9-5 job and also wanting to quit their job and start their own business

    Fire stuff as always, can you make an episode about the web3/crypto marketing landscape atm? They put out the most boring content ever, all mid, but they all have the funnels which convert pretty great, and leverage financial incentive platforms like Galxe, Zealy, etc.
    What do you guys think? How can they improve? Short form content needed?
    Thanks Brian & Alex

    23:23 Is this dude serious? You think Boeing can be replaced by an upstart just through enemy marketing? lol

    • @brian-blum
      @brian-blum 4 місяці тому

      you prob thought NASA could never get challenged by SpaceX or that Lockheed couldn't get disrupted by Anduril
      Never been a better time to go after Boeing, they are bloated, inefficient and have terrible public perception. Companies shifting away from them would get huge PR boost
