Take a slow motion picture of the bolt while firing to check for bolt bounce. You can use your smart phone. I did that and ordered the bolt weight and reliability kit from bore buddy.
Ironically, I've been thinking of something to do with the AR pistol I built that is now "illegal". I bought a 16" .556 barrel just in case but this seems like a more fun alternative since I already built a .556. The 16" CMMG full uppers are $700+. There are plenty of 22LR uppers out there but not worth the work (cheap but bad reviews). Every review I've read about using CMMG products are they work, confirmed in this video. Thanks!
A person can NEVER have too many .22 LR rifles.....EVER. If you have seven, you need five more. When the internet commandos are crying because they don't have any more 5.56, or 223, or whatever "they" deem as essentials, we, with the .22 LR rifles, and plenty of ammo, will be feeding our families.
This is like the standard deranged prepper fantasy. Some sort of scenario where there is no war or armed conflict but everyone has to survuve by hunting small game for 50 years. It's ridiculous.
Please, what is the name of that AR and what was the cost? Because I would like to add the back brace like you have and maybe a red dot. Plus buy that one clinkering.

I look at the S&W 1522 and Walther Hammerli they didn’t really wowed me. I am 74 years old and would love to have something set up tactically like you. I do have a dead air mask 22 to be installed on something. Hope you can give me some advise it would be so much appreciated. God bless, stay safe and healthy Len.
Dead air is awsome, make sure you look at the rugged obsiden 9, you can run your 22 and 9mm. Or even the dead air wolfman and just change the hand guard. I run my wolfman on my mcx 5.56 as well as my arv-9 and scorpion. Dont sleep on the wolfman.
@@andrewmconrad I was just meaning it's cheaper to buy a midwest suppressor size hand guard , with the wolfman you can run the can on your 300bo, 5.56, 9mm and the 22cal. 1 tax stamp _ 9 month wait for aft approval. I made the mistake of buying a sparrow for my 22/45 and an obsidian 9 for my ar/9 before I saw the newer wolfman. Keep up the videos , I look forward to seeing your patriots games results.

You have to build it. Check out right to bear arms 22 Barrel/bolt combo. Upper and lower are a standard Aero precision but you can use any. then just add a Midwest industries combat handguard

FYI you probably know by now those mags suck to load by hand. I got a ‘Lightnin Grip’ mag loader from McFadden Machine and it’s incredible! Looking forward to some Patriot Games footage!!

That thing looks like it shoots like my pistol only my pistol is 556. A compensator will tweek the muzzle rise but the recoil is on point with this one
I stayed with the 16" barrel for my build. Try the better mag insert it works perfect in my Aero Precision M4E1 build.

If I could have only one weapon, it would be a 22LR rifle. Period. Most versatile as long as i stay away from bears.
Did you end up doing a bolt coversion so that it stays open when empty? Wondering if I can get one for my Hammerli Tac R1 pistol

Get the "better mag " adapter you will not regret it.

Appreciate the input, but the wolfman won't fit under the handguard. The mask had a OD of 1" which will recess into the handguard
