I'd recommend switching a bit the order and soaking rice in water with the cinnamon sticks overnight and then blend and strain. Also, using evaporated milk gives it up a notch 😉

Thank you for this recipe! My daughter loves Horchata and I had no clue how to make it. We tried a Horchata Coffee late at a local coffee shop here in So. Cal. I will make this and serve her the horchata and me I will add it to my cafecito! Muchas Garcia from Southern California.

Does this have any health benefits?

Not really, no. It's healthier than drinking alcoholic beverages or soda but I would not drink it for health reasons. Rather as a treat and to avoid the latter.

@@Greenhealthycooking That makes sense, btw if u don't mind....can you create a playlist of healthy foods along with the health benefits? It would be so helpful......

@@JackSon-ee6yy the thing is I don't believe individual health benefits play a role at all if the overall diet isn't balanced. Kale can have amazing properties but if you don't eat protein and carbs with it and stay away from processed food you can eat as much kale as you want without ever becoming on being healthy. Nutrition is a holistic approach :)

@@Greenhealthycooking yea i agree with that ,it's not an individual thing ,and we should consider the whole diet to be balanced ,
I guess You have learnt lot More than other normal peoples knowledge about it, and sharing your knowledge would be so helpful for us ,to know about what we eat and if it is balanced :) and if that's organized as a playlist, it would be easy to know
