1 chocolate tablet of abuelita
1 cup of rice
1 cup of sugar
2 tbs of vanilla extract
1 evaporated milk
1 condensed milk
1 tbs of powder cinnamon

@@KS-op5hb I am just too lazy, impatient and will probably mess up the first time around.There's a 7/11 I go to that sells horchata. So now I rely on them for my fix....or if it comes to that, i buy rice milk and mix in cinnamon and sugar.

I just wanted to thank you for this video! I made my horchata 2 days ago and it came out delicious :) (I didn't put in the cocoa mix, and I used a cheesecloth since I guess my sieve wasn't fine enough).

I'm from San Diego, but now live in Anchorage, Alaska. The Mexican food here is terrible, and the horchata is worse. It lacks flavor and very watered down.

yes, you can buy any sweetened condensed milk (brand) and use for this recipe.
How long will it last in the fridge?
for 3 to 4 days depending on your settings.
