@user-kt9uw6dy8j Winning isn't the goal. Just getting the opportunity to fight this man is a fun thought even knowing he will destroy you and your entire family with a smile on his face.
takes one to loathe one. any idiot can set a tennis ball on fire and yeet it, bending every variable in play to your advantage on the other hand is entry level reality warping. so yea, there's a difference.
The truth is, everyone who watches this channel eventually come to learn that none of these builds are quite as deadly as Chase makes them seem. I'm not ashamed to admit that even if I use the exact same build, the results are usually quite different.
Add your own twists to the build to make it fit your play style better! Way back when chase first did a pure pyro, it inspired me to do that, but was unsuccessful. I added a few flame art weapons, some more survivability talismans, made it more of a casting melee combo build, and it quickly became my best preforming build
Idk man I see youtubers invade absolutely idiots. But when invade its a 3 man team with special forces level of coordination with optimally cancer builds
Perfect timing as always for sleepy time over in Europe. Nothing better than watching Chase before going to bed. Studies have proven that it increases happy hormones, quality of sleep and overall awesomeness by at least 90 skill points.
I love how the St. Trina's Torch comments are now evolving into stories that at first lead to the Torch itself, but now are showing that even in real life scenarios Torch was all anyone ever needed. This dude just wanted to fall asleep, and the torch was his answer 😊
I know, right? Even with his fairly strange setup, he knows what he’s doing and times his spells and switches so well. I don’t think I could win against a wizard that switches up that much and has power at every range like that. Plus those cannons.. I would be supremely impressed if someone hit me with one of those at range, and he does it casually 😂
I know it just comes from experience but the fact that he understands what trades he can and can’t make on what seems to be a cellular level definitely helps too. If I came at him and got 1/10th of his hp bar while he melted 1900 of my hp in the same span of time, I’d be confused as hell!
Hello, Chase. I've recently learnt that the ash of war of the cosmic flail true combos into carian greatsword spell (or the frostbite version of it). I think you'd love to try some wizarding combos. Carian greatsword also combos into a straight sword r1 and probably into other stuff if you free aim it to hit with the earlier hitbox frames, like a curved greatsword R2. I'm sure you'll love to try those out and also figure out how to even hit with carian greatsword other than as a turn and burn that combos into stuff, like o'flame
After seeing Chase actually PvP live I can say that anyone talking shit about him is just dumb. Chase, you're the best Elden Ring youtuber, never change.
As if people talk shit on chase?! What shit is there even to talk? He's incredibly good at the game, super nice and wholesome, always positive, gives constructive criticism instead of shit talk. He's the GOAT
You should consider adding Law of Regression to your build, in case someone casts Great Magic Barrier. Edit: You could also add Loretta's Greatbow for a long range snipe
Yeaaah good luck with that. Cast time and fp cost is so high you'll get out casted attempting to stop the buff or get suckerpumched by multiple people charging you.
I'm still impressed by the fact that Night Sorceries did 2200+ damage in previous video, they sure do a lot more damage, but in open fight I think sword sorceries are more likely to hit, so in order to succeed wizard must be either: sneaky/lucky(aim for one-shot) or extremely skilled(pressure survive pressure).
Carian spells are why I’m addicted to playing intelligence builds. Greatsword in the righthand and staff in the left is my favorite way to use them. Makes for a very powerful and versatile move set.
Chase, you should really try out the gavel of haima. Great area of effect, decent speed, good damage. But most importantly, it has great hyper armor, allowing you to take trades with groups.
From what I understand, most content creators (I don't know about Chase or anyone specifically) use some kind of save file manipulation. In general, the Fromsoft PvP community seems to look the other way in regard to item/gear duping and save file backup/restore. Honestly, it's an understandable concession given the draconian design of consumables given the nature of the online and PvP aspects. I strongly feel that all consumables allowed to be used in online play should be purchasable from vendors, or should just not be limited-use (like flasks, mimic's veil, etc.)
Yeah, the way I’ve done it is just setting up a wretch save file and just making a copy of it at every level you think you might want to do pvp, that way you can just select what level you want to play at and then pop in and respec to whatever build you want to play. You use a 3rd party tool on pc to copy your save file
If you end up doing another pure mage build, i'd love to see the glintstone Kris. Since you never really use daggers anyway, it's be a fun one to show off due to it's unique AoW:Glintstone Dart, or as some refer to it, The Pocket Comet. It's damage can be ludicrous with the proper build, and the follow up lunge is even longer than a normal lunge AoW lunge. It's AoW also doesn't get consumed by the moon spells for some reason, and i feel it would pair beautifully with St. Trina's torch, as it is truly sleeper OP ;)
You should do a “weapon spell” wizard build. Weapon spell as in the spells that look like weapons. Like the sword spells, bow spells, and of course the cannon spell.
You're scary. You can clearly see the difference between you and the average wizard spamming spells protected by his ganker friends. The different spells employed so well at different ranges, the awareness of terrain and enemies trying to blindside you. The sheer experience you have with pvp shines through.
Hey chase, try out the bubble sorceries! you can use the silver tear helm to hit the arcane needed and not worry about the debuff as it only affects physical damage.
i’ve been running an int/faith build using the Prince of Death staff and the Golden Order seal. Both of these with high enough int and faith become the strongest all around casters at no extra fp cost. once you have that you can use pretty much all spells and incants in the game minus a few with higher arcane requirements. lastly i use the sword of night and flame because of its low strength/dexterity requirements but high scaling in int faith. i use it mostly as a last resort weapon, but yea would love to see you try this! love the content!
Chase lately loves to help himself to some wizardry huh? :D And with that wizardry, he is the guy other wizards wish they were lol If all wizards played like this - they would be a very respected class
see every other basic b gamer in every class ever. "r1 spam" "r2 spam" "mindless casters" its just the personal nature of individual examples happening to you that warps your perspective of each. of yea and literally every single basic b that copies metas for their entire strat. you'll never break meta like that.
I know you love doing invasions. I love seeing your invasions. Have you thought of doing some fights against other invaders as you come in as a hunter to help?
One build I've been really liking is a bleed/poison build using the blood-infused Venemous Claws. Proccing both exultation talismans plus a multi-attack talisman ramps up the damage to ridiculous levels. Running R2 in particular is a very strong move on that weapon.
I love how you say "Star Shower to finish them off its hard to dodge all of them..." yet when you play you make look pretty easy to dodge that spell. You are a wizzes nightmare, very good pvp skill brochacho. glhf.
A light weapon, with the Glinstone Pebble AoW might go good with this! setup It hits SO much harder than the spell, and is quick. Also, with the follow up still has some OK potential. But the idea was maybe to be a "purebred" wizard, so.. But *what* a savage wizard video this was!
I'd love to see a character that makes effective use of the blood spells. I tried using them on a mixed int, faith and arcane build but couldn't really pull it off

The best part about Chase's general distrust of wizardry, is that he's a really good wizard when he plays one

Elden Stars aren't most annoying cause of damage or tracking, but because of violent nauseating screen shake.

You should use the glintstone kris with this along with shard of Alexander and Godfrey icon. You’ll do more damage than comet
I swapped my comet for Kris since the damage is huge with a low fp cost. Very slept upon
I recommend St Trina's Torch for it is uncordial

I highly recommend Thops Barrier when 1v1ing a wizard, no one ever uses/expects it so them looking at their spell going away is always fun.
