Not to brag but around 70 attempts have been made to parry me when I'm using Carian Slicer and all 70 of those attempts have failed. I don't ever remember a single person doing it successfully. My conclusion is, you shouldn't even try to parry slicer, it is too fast and you have to parry it by predicting when the opponent is going to use it, and even then the timing is tricky.

I wish Carian Piercer was a spear instead of a greatsword. And that the two Carian staves had their buffs switched, the one that looks like a shanking implement should be the one that buffs melee spells
Chase im nee to your videos but might i recommend adula's moon blade or carian greatsword. When you were in the tunnel with the blue with ruins greatsword. A wide seeeping aoe spell wouldve been useful there. And it procs frostbite very quickly u may have gotten a kill off one of them
you know, while it probably wouldn't be worth sacrificing the spell slots, with people still not learning about spawn protection, you could probably take along comet azur and actually get off a cast in their face
I really had a hard time against Messmer, Final Boss and Commander Gaius especially that he moves fast, can close up distance very fast and moves rapidly, it's very hard to target them while trying to evade their attacks. Do you have any videos related to it?

Correct me if Im wrong this is a genuine question and Im just trying to learn all the little stuff that can alter your ending results like soft and hard caps, point distribution, buffs, stacks, stats ect. But I wanted to ask cause you obviously look like you know what your doing lol

Counter attack is only for physical damage.
