Thank you for doing this comparison. I have the Promarkers and often wondered how they compared to the Copic, so it was great to see a comparison. Being in the UK, I bought British lol!

Hi Claire, this is fabulous! I have the full set of Windsor and newton sitting in my basket at cult pens (delivery is now free over £15 spend) ready to either buy or delete and I think I'll ... BUY! I would love the copics but they're just too expensive and unfortunately for me, when I buy a set of something, I have to have EVERY...SINGLE...COLOUR! Brilliant, and honest, review. Thank you

I just looked on there website that Wild Orchid is only available in the brush version , in fact there’s at lest 4-6 colours not in the promarkers version.

I lucked out this summer. A local store (Hobby Lobby) was closing out their W/N markers and sold them for a little over $1.00 each. I bought many ... many many many. I figured why not even though I don't use them often. I hope they don't go dry on me. The colors are very nice. I agree with you about the brush nip, it is a more flexible than the Copic of which I do have a few, mostly those in the flesh colors. But for roughly $1 each, I felt I struck it rich.

I didn't like the brush markers for the winsor & newton markers because of that reason as I found it too flexible lol

That was a very good comparison, even though with the W&N you had two colors that wouldn’t have blended anyway you slice, it, lol, I could still see the differences in their brushes. The Copics blended so beautifully, and I could see WN brush wiggle all over the place, I love alcohol markers, however when using them they give me the chills, it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard, I even tried them with marker paper, can you help me with that, lol. Thanks Claire, excellent comparison 💕🤗💕

I love my promarkers but I can't compare them to copics since I do not have any. I like the brush markers a little less, I think I generally don't like brush tips. I was Also lucky to buy a bunch when hobby lobby put them on clearance. I am not sure if I would buy them full price just because I use pencils more than markers. For what I use them for I am happy with my Ohuhu markers.

Thanks for showing us this comparison. I’m a Copic girl, through & through. It’s taken me over 15 years to amass my collection. Unfortunately, the first of the year, Copic will raise their prices for the first time in 7 years! Such is life. I might try the W&N skin colors, see how they are. Thanks again, loads of hugs & love!! 💕

Interesting...I have several copic sketch markers and a few Windsor and newton's. I actually try to stick with budget friendly markers because I never know if I'll have the money to replace the nicer ones when they run out. Thanks for an informative video! (Like always :) ) Blessings!

I have a 96 set of W&N not the brush set, I just can't get away with them. They leak and splatter on my page. I have a few copics and I must admit I much prefer them. I am going to get a couple at a time and build up from there.

Having looked at hundreds of videos of colour marker reviews (yes really) I’ve come to the conclusion that though they’re fun they have some real down sides that should always be mentioned and I write these comments because I love your channel and I genuinely care.
    - alcohol markers are Toxic. Not only are they bad for the environment they’re also REALLY bad for the person using then. The vapours are cancerous in same way breathing in petrol is.
    - they are not light fast … this means in a couple of years the beautiful creation will disappear.
    - they’re incredibly limited in colours…. Unless your going to buy 100s of them… even then there’s real limitations in colour mixing.
Where as Guache paint is … literally has Organic binder and for about 40 dollars or less EVERY colour you can conceivably create is possible. There are no fumes. It isn’t toxic. It is light fast. Can be used on any surface, it doesn’t bleed, changing mistakes is easy. It doesn’t dry out and become unusable. Has been used to create great art for 100s of years, and can and has been used to create and sell comics and posters by professionals all over the planet and is still used for that purpose including in many classic films such as Disney.
Markers are great for selling people a gratifying product that they to keep spending money despite the environmental and personal damage to their health but with a little patience leaning to mix and apply paint there are Way more possibilities with this, with the result you can sell know it won’t disappear or distort.
At least Please remind your viewers to use well ventilated area. I really do appreciate your excellent reviews x

My next purchase is a decent set of markers and learn this medium. I know it will make things easier using markers as a base color then pencils over the top!! 😊

Sketch have more ink and they are a bit easier to use because of the labels on the caps and they have more colors so if you want to expand your collection and they are on sale on amazon so i recommend 100% copic sketch
