Excellent review, Harry! I always love how thorough you are in your reviews. I'm still finding my way with markers and I'm slowly working my way up to more professional quality markers. Your reviews will be a big help when I decide to make my move to higher end brands. Thanks so much for all your hard work, and stay safe!
Rometiklan thank you so much for your kind comment and whenever you need to ask any questions about markers you want to buy, please by all means ask whatever questions you have anytime
Great review - as always! I cannot wait to see your opinion about W&N Pigment Markers in the future. Once you are about to review them please make sure you use their special paper or Yupo paper as these markers are completely different animals :). Also as far as I know Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens are also lightfast. Cheers mate!
Yes my friend you are indeed correct the Indian Ink in the Faber Castell Pitt Pens is Lightfast. I used a small set of them a while ago and I don’t know if I was using the wrong paper or not doing something right but I found them to appear a bit grainy. Thank you so much mate for your comment
Absolutely, do you want a comparison of just the brush markers or all and any alcohol markers? I might do two different comparisons and hopefully help people see the differences. Is there a particular marker you are interested in buying or using? If I can help you determine in any way please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions and I always do my very best to reply. Thank you so much for the suggestion and idea, I love getting feedback and requests from viewers because I know then that by doing the request I am helping someone out.
Are they comfortable to hold? I know it’s a silly question but I have a disability so having a bigger grip usually helps, also do they still do the 72 set for the brush markers? I can’t seem to find them anywhere only the 48 set, thanks!
Live streams :-) We like those. But I'm still having to go into work every day to ship customer orders at the moment. I work alone so it's only the DPD driver and post office I have to fear. The first I can keep outside my unit and the second I'm only venturing into twice a week. I use Drop & Go service so don't have to queue. Just leave my bag and exit. What strange times we suddenly find ourselves in.
Priscila Miller I’ve watched a lot of Fashion designers use markers and find the art they do amazing. The main difference between a brush marker and a hard nib or bullet nib is that the Brush nib allows for better blending. Now I am not a fashion artists at all, however, a lot of the designers I’ve watched tend to use the Chisel Nib that is the flat nib which all markers tend to have. The biggest difference between the sets is cost and that one nib. If you think your designs are going to need seamless blending go for the Brush otherwise I’d stick to the Pro Marker which will still allow you to blend and later into your career you can buy the Brush Markers if you really need them.
@@TheArtGearGuide omg thanks a lot for answering so fast (and the way you did it, so dedicated and kind!) also I love your work and advice, I think I'm going for the Pro🖤
If this is the first time you have watched my videos, let me save you wasting any more of your valuable time, all of the videos are the same. That tends to happen when you fight for your country, have your spine shattered and crushed and then ram enough medication down your throat to knock out an elephant just to get out of bed in the morning, it effects the speech, memory and all sorts of other things. Know what I mean mate?
I prefer the W & N brush markers to Copics. The only negative from an environmental standpoint is that they can’t be be refilled.
I still have Promarkers with the Letraset branding on them and they are still going strong (the ones that get used rarely obviously.)

Hey, could you do a comparison review of all the brush alcohol markers you have?

@@TheArtGearGuide any alcohol markers that have a brush nib. Focusing on the brush nib, its flexibility, fraying etc.
