It's why I have a 21 Tundra, and did not wait for the 22 and am I glad I did. I especially would not want to buy one currently with all the issues going on with about all the manufacturers.
As a Ram fanboy...it is insane to see how bad the brand(and Stellantis writ-large) has shot themselves in the foot. Getting rid of the HEMI(while it's chief competitors found a way to keep V8s around), very weak updates on the HDs, and of all, raising prices JUST to raise prices have all caught up to them. Now they're forced to take $10-$20K off of trucks because the class has largely moved on. Not surprising and it doesn't look to get any better any time soon. Ram is losing customers and GMC is the catch-basket for them.
The issue isn’t waiting for a new generation, it’s the fact that the Hemi is gone and the price for a non-hemi Ram is completely absurd, not to mention the notorious reliability record for Ram trucks and we have no idea how well the new inline TT Inline 6 will last.
