You can get the 2024 Limited and Longhorn trims for over 20,000 off at my local dealer. MSRP over 80K are selling for under 60K right now. Ram had always offered large incentives but changed for a bit and people just waited them out for it to come back. Jeep and Ram are really what funded all the profits for Stellantis for a long time.

Indiana state police purchased 25.8 million dollars worth of vehicles from Stellantis. (Mass engine failures. ) No comments from Stellantis. It was such an odd story centered on Indiana. Say that because the Durango Pursuit is used across the country by many highway patrol agencies, but Indiana seems to be the only agency with a "total loss". Georgia State Police, Arkansas State Police, and Florida Highway Patrol use Chargers/Durango in 70%+ of their fleet and haven't reported catastrophic failures.

So you are saying the drop in sales is due to transition of the line-up and government emission standards? That sounds like the explanation that the senior management of Stellantis gives to the media. It is disingenuous. They are struggling because they raised prices too much, poor production planning (produced too many units), and bad product decisions.

Just read a story about Stellantis and their financial position. They are predicting free cash flow for the year to be negative $5.6-$11.2 billion. Earlier this year they had predicted positive free cash flow. They’ve cut production and increased incentives just to clear excess inventory. They can’t really compete in China, which will probably be the same situation for most US car makers. China’s manufacturers can sell vehicles much cheaper than the US automakers plus EV sales are huge over there. We know Dodge & Ram have no EV’s to sell. Fiat has the 500 all electric I think, don’t know much about it.
As for the European market, does Ram really have any significant market for their trucks or minivans over there?

Tim, I don't think that its relevant to compare 2019 pre-Stellantis sales to the company as it is today. Lots of changes since 2019, one being the terrible interest rates coupled with the very high ASP's throughout Covid and still today. Ford and GM also did not get rid of their V8 offerings in trucks, and still offer them today. Salesperson at my local Ford Dealership said that 50% of their F150 sales are still the 5.0. Personally, I think that Ram should have fixed the lifter tick issue in the Hemi and still offered it along with the new Turbo Charged in-line 6. I think that they are going to have to do more incentives and discounts to try and get the customers in the door to buy the remaining Hemi trucks, or they might go bankrupt.

RAM prices too high. I looked at new RAM 1500's, nice truck but crazy pricing... plus... they are 'mild hybrid' with a true POS gimmick that's called "eTorque". My neighbor had a brand new 2022 with the eTorque (sadly, they all come with eTorque now) and he had so many problems with that stupid 'mild hybrid' system that he used State Lemon Law to force RAM to buy the truck back. Anyone looking at RAM, examine that eTorque and decide for yourself. IMHO it's a large headache, and an expensive one, as it's ONLY serviceable at the dealer!
